Can we talk about Kyle’s latest TH “look” with the crimped hair and (I think) yellow blazer?! She’s giving Candice Bergen in Murphy Brown circa 1993! I literally gasped. I think it’s a more recently filmed set of interviews since it first popped up when she was talking about the Kathy visit. So funny that she owns a clothing store bc Kyle really has NO style.

I also noticed on instagram she is sharing photos of Marilyn Monroe licking her lips along with some others.  I don't think she gets that we know she isn't the only person in the world to habitually lick her lips but rather it's off-putting when *she* does it.

I hate to defend the Girardis, but at least Tom let C- - -y hire professional back-up dancers (Okay, okay: Mikey wanted those men in the shows and videos). I can picture the director telling Diana, “And, you… just stand there… Don’t do too much…” [aside: “We’ll CGI the tongue in post-.”]

My elderly, immigrant, frugal, glaucoma-suffering mother dresses better than Kyle. And wouldn’t have to open a store in the desert, because her overhead costs far exceeded her profits. 
(I exaggerate, but you all understand my point. My mother has more fashion sense than and is infinitely more intelligent than Vile.)

Kyle's lack of style has always been a head scratcher for me.  I think she's very pretty/attractive and clearly takes good care of herself but mostly dresses in the least flattering way possible.  Either she listens to the wrong 'stylist' or needs to get one.

One thing they definitely have in common is that neither would have a storyline without their EDs.  

ETA:  not making light of either of their EDs, just trying to make the point that they are both, imo, SNOOZEFESTS

Heh. In the scenes-we-didn’t-see-last-week version, JLC uses Kyle’s bathroom. After, a server named Sherry quickly and discreetly tells JLC that she accidentally tucked the hem of her jacket into the waistband of her pants. JLC tells the others how helpful this was, and how she’s never known a man to help out someone this way. She asks David, another server, if he would have told her about the wardrobe malfunction. David sheepishly admits that he would not have told her. The producers gave us these chyrons:

ETA: Asher escorting Diana down the steps in this mumu looked like a grandson escorting a grandmother down the steps. It's a flash forward to what the future would be if he stuck with her.

I don't know how Innis could stomach Asher. The whole thing is so over the top creepy. I get major same-sex interests vibes from Asher. He and Diana don't fit at all.

Coming back to say the Sloppy Mess looked super bloated and unattractive during the facetime call with Rinna. I was wondering who the heck that is at first! No offense to the rest of us average people who look bloated and unattractive during facetime calls. This was just jarring. 

This season is giving Sloppy Mess enough rope to hang herself, it would seem. I guess she didn't need to be fired just yet. She can sink even lower.

Part of the Charitable Industrial Complex is setting up events "honoring" people who are likely to have a lot of rich friends.  Your inlaws knew that they were given the honor with the expectation that those tables would be filled (or at least covered) by the people on the guest list.  They know because they were asked for and provided the list of invitees/expected donors. (To be fair, it's possible they didn't realize this was one of those types of events until they had accepted the honor, but if they move in these circles chances are they've attended them for other people and this was just their turn at bat.) It largely depends on the same group of people trading donations to each others' causes in exchange for press, tax deductions, and the opportunity to hang out together with other folks with nothing better to do.

Agreed - if she thinks her legs are okay, that was a dress that draped literally every other body part and probably felt safe (i.e. she wouldn't nervously be wondering if her stomach was pooching or her bra line was pinching). And the color was dazzling. Not many people could pull it off.

I watched the video of Kathy's home tour and obviously she decorates for the holidays herself instead of having professionals. There are aspects of the home that are quite lovely like the room furnished in all white and the one with the light turquoise and discontinued fabric. I also liked the royal blue & white porcelain pieces. 

Kathy has been rich for many years. I suspect she's had many formally designed trees/rooms over the decades, had each one packed up and labeled after the fact, and put them in storage until the next year. Hell, she probably lifted some from the hotels they lived in when the kids were young.  Getting people in to put them up each year isn't really a design job so much as an assembly job.

I am haitian in Canada with an eating disorder since I was 15 years old. Erika gave her a black and white suggestion to help her. Straight up. I have taken laxative as well, to find a way to deal with my eating disorder. I agree the conversation could have taken place elsewhere. And, your my favourite lol 😇
