No.  There aren't any ratings.  If so, someone else handles that.

It's not a big deal mojoween.  I was surprised that he said it.  Usually he just reads the names and saves the other stuff for another time.  BTW, I'd rather have this version of a selection than that stuff ESPN did for the College Football Playoff

They're also a little hypocritical.  Whatever reason they have of not moving them to the 3 (or even 4 line) is what it is, but based on that, some of their other decisions don't add up.

Despite the difficulty of going 63 for 63, it isn't easy when good teams face bad teams but would still be in danger of losing outright due to the game being a bad matchup

I know the muckety-mucks don’t care about us lowly peons when there is a kajillion dollars at stake, but they are considering expanding the tourney again which is just the STUPIDEST idea.

Half or all of the next 30 teams would have losing records and get bounced immediately.  I know there are some people out there who still think that 32 was the perfect number, but I only remember starting with 64, which was perfect.

I picked them to lose in the first round.  I love Virginia, but their gameplay is so tough to watch.  When they lost 5 years ago, that was the team that would be vulnerable to anybody that was on fire.

Can't kill the clock in the whole game unless you can hit the 3.

But yeah, you're fine if you had UVA losing on Saturday.  That's why I'm not too bitter that Maryland won over WVU.  Neither team is beating Alabama

The only March Madness bracket I ever play is at work. We have about a dozen people who have been playing for over 10 years, and the only prize is that you get your name on the trophy which you take possession of and proudly display for a year. (We also take the winner out to lunch.)

While I'm currently in 11th place out of 12, I did look at everybody's final four teams and not only was I the only person to pick Marquette as my champion, I'm the only one who even put them in the final four.

So pretty much all of my hopes for getting my name on that trophy for a second time are riding on that one team. Hopefully they at least make to the sweet sixteen to keep my bracket alive.

I don't follow college basketball except for March Madness; in regards to the ending of the Memphis/Florida Atlantic game, they don't do jump balls at the NCAA level? It looked like there was some sort of possession arrow that the refs just alternate back and forth who gets possession of the ball when there's a tie-up/scramble/unclear who it goes off of? That seems unfair.

Yes they rotate possessions.  No jump ball

NBA refs fuck up jump balls all the time. I heard of complaints on at least two games in the past couple of days. Possession arrow always seemed simpler and fairer in the long run to me.

Yeah I never understood the reason for that rule.
