Calamity Jane July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 Please, please, Season 13, restore my faith in Project Runway. Still reeling from the horror of Under the Gunn. 6 Link to comment
leighdear July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 Since we haven't seen Tim for a while, I hoping the love will come back.... 2 Link to comment
leighdear July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 (edited) I like the "Road" show as an intro. I'm glad they've kept doing it. Really good to see my beloved Dmitry in some of the evaluations. And it looks like Nick & Uncle Tim are friends again. I love Nick. I was NOT happy to see Mondo. He's dead to me now. Jut like with other Reality competitions, it will take me til about 10 people before I can remember names and POV's. *LOL* But I already know I don't care much for Kini or Mitchell. I do kinda like Tim Navarro, Char & Sean, Sandhya is adorable and Fade is bizarrely interesting. Hernan has shown at Fashion Week twice? WTF is he doing there? The others didn't strike me either way yet. Edited July 25, 2014 by leighdear 3 Link to comment
Dewey Decimate July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 This is an awful thing to say, but as it seems to happen every season: I predict that the German guy will be the ubiquitous HIV+ runway reveal. 1 Link to comment
GaT July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 Just finished watching & there are just too many to remember them all. I did see some work I liked, & I think it will be interesting to see how some of them do. like the woman who designs for modesty. I don't particularly like the idea of a previous contestant being voted back on the show, & I'm going to be pissed if it's Ken. I guess I'll go watch the first episode & find out. "please not Ken, please not Ken, PLEASE not Ken!" 1 Link to comment
bref July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 I was NOT happy to see Mondo. He's dead to me now. Curious why this is. I didn't care for him on his season, but he keeps a pretty high profile here in Denver doing charity stuff. The "now" intrigued me. :) Link to comment

NikSac July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 Man... one minute I was happy to see Project Runway back on my DVR, and the next I was remembering how hard it's going to be for me to get past Under The Gunn. He didn't even do anything I found especially offensive on tonight's PR shows but I can't get that 'other' show out of my head. Hopefully it passes by the next episode so I can start focusing on the contestants. 2 Link to comment
leighdear July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 @bref, Julia nailed it. I felt Mondo's appearance on "Under the Gunn" was the most heinous example of nasty, entitled and downright insulting behavior I've ever seen from a PR contestant-turned-mentor. I just don't have enough negative words to describe his actions. Anya was almost as bad. Producer manipulation and specific editing is always a factor in these shows, but he absolutely gave them enormous amounts of bad behavior to work with. It actually makes me more sad than angry, but I CAN move on....I think....*LOL* 7 Link to comment
cattykit July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 Why, Anthony Ryan, would you ever keep that damn Mohawk when you show here how awesome you look with your hair short? 1 Link to comment
bilgistic July 26, 2014 Share July 26, 2014 Ahhh. Skipped that one. Sounds like a good decision?I watched only a few episodes and couldn't keep going, and I've seen everything else PR. Everything. Under the Gunn was WRETCHED. 1 Link to comment
bilgistic July 26, 2014 Share July 26, 2014 Why, Anthony Ryan, would you ever keep that damn Mohawk when you show here how awesome you look with your hair short? Was I confusing him with someone else, or was it him on there half the time with what looked like a tawny blond guinea pig atop his head and the other half of the time, his head was shaved? ElectricBoogaloo July 27, 2014 Share July 27, 2014 I liked Mondo during his original appearance on PR but the shine was definitely off during the All Stars season. Makes me glad I skipped watching Under the Gunn because I was already annoyed with Mondo by the end of All Stars. I don't think I could have handled another full season of him. 1 Link to comment
Merriwind July 27, 2014 Share July 27, 2014 I thought Tim just seemed so much happier and lighter in this episode than in any moment of Under The Gunn. Maybe my love of Tim is coloring my impression, but I think he is made for the PR mentor role, not the judge/host/critic/whatever he was supposed to be on UTG. He never seemed very joyful on that show, but I think he often is on PR. 2 Link to comment
Qoass July 28, 2014 Share July 28, 2014 I don't particularly like the idea of a previous contestant being voted back on the show, & I'm going to be pissed if it's Ken. I guess I'll go watch the first episode & find out. "please not Ken, please not Ken, PLEASE not Ken!" I know Amanda was voted back in but did they ever reveal the rankings? I was hoping Ken would come in fourth after Amanda, Alexander and Are You F'ing Kidding Me?!?!? An audition show does help me keep so very many contestants straight but they still all tend to fall into one of two categories for me: "I'm QUIRKY, dammit!" and "Please ask me about my terrible childhood.". 4 Link to comment
yeswedo July 28, 2014 Share July 28, 2014 @Qoass they didn't mention rankings on the show. The returned designer just walked into the workroom and was announced the winner of the vote. Link to comment

Even though I know the producers ask leading questions during interviews/talking heads to get the contestants to divulge any potential self-perceived quirkiness or terrible childhoods, it still drives me crazy when I have to hear things like "I have crazy colored hair so of course I'm unique and creative!" 1 Link to comment
