Heather's fury at her old auntie who is kind enough to give her a roof was a sight to behold. It was hilarious and kind of cute to see Dylan and Auntie Diane chatting and sharing photos. Heather's blood was boiling!

Yeah, Dylan was brought up right.

The only thing I can figure is that Heather got hold of some female Viagra and is afraid it's going to wear off if she doesn't get laid before noon.  Plus, she was obviously not brought up right.

That whole "I don't feel well and I need to go in the bedroom ALONE" scene made me think that she was afraid that SOMETHING was going to wear off . . . if she didn't get another hit ASAP.

I'm disappointed that a 48 year old man is unable to see the game for what it is.  Honestly, he probably got off easy.  The house may be shabby, but its probably in his name and worth something.  If she had really gotten her hooks into him she could have cleaned him out and then taken off.  I hope he has learned a lesson and will find someone more age/situation appropriate next time.

Also, his daughter was all kinda of weird to me.  The eyelashes were problematic of course, but she kept weirdly swinging her hair.  It looked so unnatural, I can't tell if she practiced in front of the mirror because she was going to be on TV.

It truly is manna from heaven!

I don't know about that.  He lives in an apartment in Oak Lawn, I don't think he owns anything but that car.  I am starting to think he is not an engineer.

Unfortunately, it showed them, Lacy/Chane/Chon, and that batshit crazy Mormon lady with the husband she pretended they just met, when it turns out that they knew each other in high school. And the two I mentioned from the current cycle of Love. 🤮

Sorry, you will have to narrow it down more than that 🤣  Do you mean Andrea?

Is that an apartment?  I didn't know, and I don't know where Oak Lane is.  The car is nice, but in the interest of objectivity and fairness, a LOT of poor people fall victim to predatory lenders willing to lease them a late model luxury vehicle for usury terms.  The 5-7 year payment plan/lease plan is a thing.  The Escalade appears to be a late model luxury vehicle, but I've learned not to judge people solely based on their vehicle.

Back in the day, there were two guys I worked with who were polar opposites.  Both were about the same age.

One drove a car that could, on its best day, be described as a beater.  I think it was some sort of Honda or Toyota, but it was old and had clearly seen better days.  But he owned multiple properties and had a side vending machine business that generated passive income.

The other guy drove a Mercedes, which looked very nice, but was the least expensive line (C class I believe) and it had like the base model options.  He also lived with his parents, owned nothing and couldn't afford an apartment.  I'm pretty sure he was fleeced on the terms.

From that day forward I knew that a car could give you some clues as to someone's wealth but it couldn't paint the full picture of financial strength.

OMG, Jessica having a baby would be the worst news ever.  She would be the next Sarah.

I know this is a terrible idea and an inevitable disaster and they should totally not be doing this, but...I was kinda touched by both future parents being so thrilled about the news. I wish that every pregnancy was greeted with so much excitement and delight.

I was so impressed by his interactions with the aunts, sharing pictures of his family and just being so goddamned charming.  Most women (that aren't completely and utterly insane) would have been delighted to have their significant other and their family hit it off so well.  But not Heather.

Charming is right. There might be some underlying personality disorder there -- wasn't this like his 15th arrest for selling drugs? I could have sworn we saw a freaking yearbook's worth of mug shots. But damn, that boy is fine and sure knows how to come across sweet and lovable. Also he's not an IDIOT. Can't you see he's paying the rent, Heather? He's keeping a roof over your fool head by getting on the landlady's good side. And you're going to have a conniption fit because he's not paying exclusive attention to you?

Yes, the daughter's look could have been a lot better, but her baby was ADORABLE. I'm usually more into pets than babies, but that was one gorgeous little dumplin'.

I just watched this episode last night..

Wow, Heather is a freaking lunatic.  Dylan was very polite and charming to her Aunts.  I can't understand why she was so upset.   He showed amazing charm and manners.    Heather is the same "model" Lacey is.  Cam Girl.

Tyrice and Jessica.   Ugh.   My son had RSV at 2 weeks old, reflux and collic.   Having a baby isn't as easy as it sounds I love my son more than I can express, but he was a difficult baby.  Now he's a difficult teenager. Lol.   Parents get what my point is.

I don't even to know where to start with the rest of these people

Dylan is a smooth criminal, ya'll. Higher end drug dealer and con man. I've seen a million of these guys in a former life.  He'll say and do all the right things and then rob you blind.  The proof is him catering to Heather's antics. He's way too smart not to know she's batshit crazy, but she's all he's got right now--so he's playing the role.

Agreed.  I think Heather is obviously insane but that loud insanity may have distracted from the fact that a 30 year old handsome felon may have all the wrong reasons for charming a 90 year old woman on oxygen.

Likely all true, but DAMN if that dude isn't some amazing eye candy on my TV 😜

And the fact that he's articulate just adds to my delight when he's on my screen.  😍

Wait a minute.  Are you telling me Murgh's fivehead, nodding out look and "Is you ovulatin'?" don't fulfill your eye candy needs?

Okay, I'll go with Dylan for the win.  🙂

Dylan has been arrested 34 times, so I am thinking while he peaks well and knows how to be charming, he has some serious issues.  One of which is if you've been arrested that much, you are not very good at not being caught so maybe try another life plan, Mkay? Is he standing in front of the police station announcing "I have good drugs!   Who wants drugs?  See me for the best drugs ever!" Of course, having anything at all to do with Heather also shows an epic lack of common sense.

Dylan is a charmer, and he was brought up right, but what he does with those advantages is another story.

A million years ago I was involved with a usenet group about true-crime, and one segment of the group believed that people who committed terrible crimes had some kind of trauma or abuse in childhood, usually courtesy of mama, to turn out the way they did.  They all had good manners and were seemingly lovely, polite people, but they'd just as soon cut your throat as look at you.

One of the participants in the group was a woman who was the "girlfriend," later "wife," of Danny Rolling aka the Gainesville Slasher, and through her I was able to exchange a few emails with him.  This guy's crimes were grotesque, but he was the kindest, most polite person you'd ever want to correspond with.  Under other circumstances, I'd have been happy to have him meet my parents.

The greatest skill a career criminal can possess is the ability to demonstrate that they *were* brought up right.  The women we see on this show falling for creeps seem stupid and desperate, but when one like Heather comes along, who hooks up with a guy who seems so nice, *she* comes off as the crazy one (in this case, of course, she *is* nuts).  I think it's probably not a good idea to hitch your wagon to a felon until he's been out of the joint for a good many years and has demonstrated that he was brought up right, but he's not using that to take advantage of anybody.

Years back I met a man who had done a long prison stint for murder.  His was the opposite case.  Horrible thing he did in his youth, caught up in gangs, etc.  He really turned his life around when he got out.  He is a writer and public speaker who also holds down a full time job.  He had sense enough to get himself together before looking for a relationship and subsequently raised two wonderful children.  He truly wanted to be a role model to his community and his children and did just that.

I compare Dylan, who seems so likable and trustworthy, with Maurice (I hope that's his name--he's already married to the strange blonde woman of the wary parents), who as soon as he stepped into the parents' comfortable house said "I already feel at home."  What a weird thing to say--no one had invited him to feel at home!  He was very appreciative of the creature comforts of the parents' house and made several comments about how this is how he wants to live, without any mention of any effort it might take on his part or any recognition of the hard work it must have taken for the parents to have attained that level of comfort.

The father seemed taken in--maybe out of desperation ("please god don't let this guy be a total fuckup"), maybe out of gullibility, but it seemed very fishy to me.  It seemed there was an element of "having" without "earning" in the young man's vision, even as he broke the rules of parole on day one.  Even his latching onto the father as "the father I never had" before being invited to gave me the squirmies.

Dylan may be able to maintain the facade, even in the face of Healther's mental instability, but I predict an early crash-and-burn for this guy.

LOL, Heather couldn't hold it together for even three hours after Dylan got out of prison.

She is literally jealous of a 90 year old woman with an oxygen tank.

You just wait until some young waitress or hostess makes eyes at him.  Heather will lose her shit.

LOL, Heather has crazy eyes!

Instead of Heather seeing how sweet it was that Dylan was showing proper respect by getting to know the woman offering her home to them she goes berserk.  They should have stopped at a motel in the way if she wanted to get it on so bad.  What piece of work or shit or whatever.

Yeah, Maurice knew what was up & read that dad like a book. The conversation outside was going so badly for Maurice, all this, I won't put up with this & I won't stand for that & I'll always protect my daughter. So Maurice understands that this guy defines himself as a tough, protective, white dad w/o a record.  He can't stop being a person of color or get rid of his record so he immediately places himself in the son role and within minutes the dad is eating out of his hand, talking about projects they can do, fishing trips they'll go on.  Maurice is no fool.

I am totally on the Heather-is-a-scary-nut bus (I'M NOT FEELING WELL SO I HAVE TO LIE DOWN!) but her shitheel mother dumped her out of the country when she was 14 over some contretemps with the stepdad, so I'm not willing to think the elders in her family are any great shakes, either. It was weird to me when Dylan & Heather were in her room & Aunt Diane barged in (w/o knocking, I think, right?) clutching a framed photo and saying querulously, "Dylan, where were you? We've been waiting for you."  He's having a conversation with his wife, Diane, cool yr jets. (Did anyone else notice Dylan referred to Heather as his fiancee?)

It made me wonder if there's a history of the aunts glomming onto Heather's friends. Maybe she worries they tell her friends how awful she was/is (after all, we, poor innocents, had to send her away), to separate her from them.

But, yeah, she's a total nut on some sort of major speed.
