  1. I agree, Marge is very resentful. But I do think she is jealous. Marge was raised by her mother to use her looks to gain favors from men. The issue is, that never got Marge what Jen got. Marge still had to work. I will never believe, for a second, that the two Marges end goals were to be self made women. They wanted to be taken care of, in every way. Marge is so jealous, she can’t see straight. Sure, she loves Joe, but she’s not living in the lap of luxury. She had to sell off her property (at a loss) and has been living in an unfinished house for years while she pays off that Vineyard Vines lawsuit. She is not where she wants to be in life, financially. She goes off on Jen about wanting to hire help, who has 5 kids, meanwhile she has Marleny to do what, exactly? Jen furnished her house with Chinese furniture but she’s not living in a construction zone, has a nice piece of property, all kids are well taken care of, she can spend frivolously, and not worry about money. She’s spoiled but she’s no concubine (Marge can F off with that disgusting comment). The way she was devouring those tomatoes (though I thought they were carrots) made me so incredibly uncomfortable. Her eating disorder is raging and it’s so sad to see.
  2. Yes, I’m Jewish as well ☺️ Same, when I moved from NY to out west it was a big change. We are also a minority here.
  3. I have never heard the high holiday of Rosh Hashana be called Rosh. We eat during Rosh Hashana and fast for Yom Kippur. However, for both holidays, there should be no work (schools are closed in NY & NJ during the high holidays and in other parts of the country too, but not many) because they are important holidays, but plenty of Jews do. Jackie does not appear to come from an orthodox or even very conservative family, so I’m sure they play loose with the rules, like many of us do. I also think that this was a planned scene and not actually filmed during the actual holidays anyway.
  4. I was absolutely disgusted. If my own 10 year old daughter spoke to me like that, she would not only get an earful, she’d have consequences, and I would also question my & my husband’s parenting and how we’ve played a role in raising a child who speaks so disrespectfully to her mother. There’s bitchy “tween” attitude and then there’s this. Same with Brandi’s heathen.
  5. I actually don’t think she would care because Nonno and Kathy’s mother hadn’t spoken in many years, they were very estranged. There was no loving relationship there. The Wakiles are definitely bitter about getting the boot from RHONJ & the Gorgas moving on without them though. Your post reminded me of something that I had been thinking about while watching this season. No doubt that the family is sad about Nonno’s passing but both Joe & Theresa seemed more distraught over their mother’s passing (then and now). Maybe because it was unexpected while Nonno had been battling health issues for so long? Idk, but I’ve noticed a difference. You’re also right, this memorial was all for show... but this time Joe is ok with it?
  6. I’m from NY & I never heard it pronounced that way until I moved out west. Not a regional thing, some people really just don’t get it.
  7. No, she was alive when Teresa got out. They made a big deal about how she “lost 11.5 months” of time with her mother. The start of the next season, after her release, they showed Teresa in her car talking to someone (Joey?) about her mom being in the hospital.
  8. Did I say that he isn’t allowed a memorial or that they don’t have a right to grieve? No, I didn’t. Just because he was of a certain generation and culture doesn’t mean that misogyny, overt displays of anger, and anything else along those lines are ever ok. Excusing it as someone’s culture and generation is why we still deal with the issues that we continue to deal with in society. I am also a product of a similar culture and patriarchal society so I’m fully aware of where this man came from and I still think he was not a nice person, creepy, and overall questionable. His children are also a direct reflection of his and his wife’s parenting- they raised a willfully ignorant criminal and an oversexed neanderthal. Of course his family can mourn him. They should. But, that doesn’t mean that others have to venerate him if they don’t believe that there’s a reason to.
  9. Well, to be brutally honest- it’s only fitting. I think there has been a lot of Nonno goodwill over recent years because he was there for the girls and in poor health but let’s be real- he was just as problematic as his kids. He has said misogynistic crap in the past, he fought with (and eventually completely cut off any and all ties with) his sister- Kathy & Rosie’s mother (which also played a role in the cousins’ crap relationship with each other)-, he treated JoGo as the lesser son to Juicy, and Theresa said on that new Andy show that she learned to flip a table from her dad, who also did that out of anger in her youth. I’ve never liked Nonno 🤷🏻‍♀️. I always found him to be creepy & I side eye a parent who raised those apes/fools Tre & Joey. Edited to add- good lord, my opinion of this man is based on years of watching him & his family. I don’t care that he’s of a certain generation. I know plenty of men in their 70s who are not like Nonno was and I know plenty who are misogynistic too. Doesn’t matter their background, if someone is creepy, they’re creepy. BUT NO ONE is saying that Nonno doesn’t deserve a memorial or that his family loved him.
  10. I’m not defending Jen, her behavior is problematic both on and off camera. However, watching a very privileged white woman sit back and smugly saying that she “doesn’t need to be educated, babe” to a woman of color, was unsettling to watch. Whitney, at least, said she’s trying to learn. Heather, in that moment, represented a lot of what is wrong in today’s society. Jen has a host of issues and brought a lot of what she got onto herself, but Heather was gross in that moment.
  11. Meredith needs to go. Can someone please explain to me what she even brings to the show? She was useless at the reunion. She offered nothing, she didn’t “engage”, and she’s a shit friend to Lisa. As mentioned above, labeling a POC as aggressive is dangerous but Jen’s message does get lost because she her emotions and her behaviors are over the top. She does need therapy, BUT, Heather lost me big time with her condescension. “I don’t need to be educated, Babe” the very privileged (and popular) white woman says, while sitting back and smirking. Fuck you, Heather. Heather was feeling herself way too much and newsflash- not everything is about you and your “pain”. Lisa can get upset over her close friend’s separation and not have emotion over an acquaintance divorce- that happened before she even knew her. Heather needs real therapy, not “Rhianna therapy”. She projects left and right. Heather and Meredith lost me, completely. Meredith needs to go, Heather can stay and get a shit edit. Lisa and Whitney can stay. Jen can stay but I hope she’s in therapy. Mary- No. Just...No. If they bring someone else on, I hope it’s a stronger POC from Utah who can better challenge this crew.
  12. Now that’s interesting because Vicki (the beacon of truth) said that they bought a huge house with acres of land when it was announced that they changed course and were moving to OK 🤨
  13. I started watching halfway through, so this may have been addressed, but what’s the deal with Meredith and Lisa? Why aren’t they friends anymore?
  14. I didn’t understand that Taco Bell comment, what was the big deal about that?
  15. It was renewed for a second season. Whether or not they’ll all be back is up in the air but the show will be back
  16. I think he’s high everytime he’s on camera (definitely in that banana scene- was that supposed to be a flirty moment between those two? 🙄)
  17. Meanwhile, Veronica started a support group 😆 https://realityblurb.com/2021/02/06/veronica-leventhal-reveals-if-stepmom-kelly-dodd-should-quit-rhoc-as-she-creates-support-group-for-people-with-conservative-parents-but-admits-to-being-a-huge-kelly-fan-plus-source-explains-k/
  18. So, if I recall correctly, Vicki wasn’t the only one shit talking Oklahoma. Briana wasn’t all that thrilled when she was there and I remember thinking that if I were her neighbor I wouldn’t bother with that bitch. So... what’s going on? I call BS that he “suddenly” got this job offer that they can’t turn down, sorry (not sorry). Who makes this big, public declaration that they are moving to Chicago only for them to turn around the next day and say, “actually, it’s really Oklahoma”. They went from “90% of her family is there (Chicago)” to a state with no family around for a thousand miles? The hell? These two are sketchy, like Mama Vicki.
  19. The current understanding is that the benefits of having the antibodies only last a few months. Even so, she could still spread it.
  20. 6 badly dressed women scream at each other for an hour while a bemused misogynistic ass looks on, Part 1
  21. She won’t have to deal with it, it seems because now they’re headed to... Oklahoma?? https://realityblurb.com/2021/02/05/rhoc-alum-vicki-gunvalson-confirms-briana-culberson-is-no-longer-moving-to-chicago-and-explains-why-find-out-where-she-and-her-family-are-headed-as-vicki-reacts-to-rumors-of-financial-instability/ I’m sorry for your losses. I’m in CA with three small children and my family is in NY. They’ve had some health scares this past year and babies have been born. It sucks to be so far away.
  22. She did, a lot. As you said, it doesn’t absolve LeeAnn of anything she said and did, but Kary said it All. The. Time.
