Brooks went overboard with her reaction but on some level, I get it. I have kids and if someone criticized my parenting for an international audience to see, I’d have a reaction too, I’m sure. Another thought about the “wedding”- they were already married, they had a whole island getaway (not a courthouse quickie). That, along with Caroline’s ‘whatever’ attitude about that, made me wonder why should we even care? It just looked like an overblown weekend celebration for people to play dress up. Also, what was with her “I don’t know how to dance” awkwardness on the dance floor. Did they not plan for/expect a first dance?

Omg, no one is watching this show 😬 I just started the replay and popped in to see what everyone’s thoughts are. All I can say is that it’s very telling that the majority of this cast bailed on the wedding. And Sergio is a moron who needs to go back to high school and get a basic biology education. Dumbass.

I find everything about this show and these housewives to be disingenuous.

So I went through her IG and confirmed the “wedding” weekend was in Jan (or, at least when she posted). The high temp those days in Jan 2022 was in the 70s 😒. They totally lied.

It was an “engagement party” and the “wedding” was the next day (wedding is in quotes since they already got married and have been married the whole time). I saw her IG posts at the time of the events and was also confused about the engagement party but it was part of a weekend of celebrations and was basically an over the top pre-wedding dinner and reception for the out of towners. Ayan is her last name and Chanel is her stage name/first name. I forget what her given first name actually is. How long is this season? So far, it appears that they’ve filmed over 2 weeks since all Stanbury has been bitching and complaining about is her wedding/wedding planning and I could have sworn the first two episodes she said “in 2 weeks”

She treats him like he’s her child (which, technically, he can be). Reminds me of how Tom Girardi spoke to Erica. There’s no love there, it’s a transactional relationship. Her tone with him reminds me of a parent scolding and redirecting her annoying and misbehaving child.

“Ugh, so much sand” ”Ugh, this sand. Gross” ”There’s sand everywhere” YOU ARE IN THE DESERT!!! Also, were the women sequestered from the party guests? Were they even part of the party? Caroline did a walk by with her bitch commenting and didn’t even stop. They literally had a separate set up for filming but these women have zero relationship with Stanbury outside of this show. Says a lot about this show that I’m only looking forward to the LoL reunion lunch scene next week.

I love Tanglewood They should have planned a trip to Canyon Ranch! That is very housewives and it gets them out of the damn house.

Oh, come on. Another theme for Dorinda to show off her supposed amazing decorating and hosting skills and to harken back to “classic” RHONY storylines? Will the NUTCRACKER be there?

I kind of want to rewatch the first episode because I hated Ayan the first go around but I LOVE her now. I think it would be interesting to watch her through a different lens. Caroline S’s “taste” in fashion and decorating is atrocious. When I used to follow her on IG for a short while, she was in the process of decorating her house (some of the pieces are seen on the show) and it was all so, so tacky.

She broadcasted to the world, freely expressing her disdain of even the notion of having a child, on camera, which is now not only recorded but all over the internet where people discuss it, and let’s not forget two of her kids very vocally pushing back on having another sibling. If this baby comes to be…my god. How awful to know that only your father actually wanted you. So, so horribly sad. Caroline is seriously a monster. She’s been bitching about boarding school since she was on LoL, when she refused to eat fruit at Caroline F’s dinner and something about not wanting to follow “rules” in seasons 2 & 3. Ridiculous, spoiled, vapid woman. Seriously, what exactly was Phaedra’s purpose here? She did nothing but wear tacky Versace (redundant, I know), inquire about Dubai so they can get their weekly Dubai tourism board plug (that entire boring lunch scene was focused on how great Dubai is and how things are in Dubai. AGAIN), and take a ski lesson at the mall while nothing happened except for a stupid 2 min tiff about Caroline S wearing her own clothes. And…? Give Ayan another platform. She’s too good for this show.

And her need to nap was verbalized by her and well documented on RHONY too. I want someone to go toe to toe with her. I hate how they all back down to keep the peace. Fuck Dorinda.

Totally. But these people are in their 40s and 50s. And supposedly successful and established. So, what are they afraid of? Her sycophantic followers? What are they going to do? It’s not like it’s Taylor Swift’s or Beyonce’s fandom.

Yes, her (and Sergio’s) IG posts following the wedding were so gross. Everything was tagged. Probably her underwear too. I checked out her IG out of curiosity, and it was so commercialized. Even the days after; there’s nothing authentic about her. Her life is for sale and it just seems so…meaningless.

I completely agree. Jill is that person who expects others to be forever in her debt. She may do something nice to be nice, but you can never forget it and will always “owe” her. That’s what happened with Bethany and I am sure that’s the situation with Dorinda. She brought up Dorinda being on season 4 with her twice. The first time was like minutes after she recreated Scary Island (“fun fact… did you know…”). Why would anyone there find that interesting or would care that Dorinda was on season 4? They didn’t even know who Jill was and was confused when she showed up. She made it a point to make a big statement on camera- Dorinda, if it wasn’t for me, you would never have been on RHONY. Secondly, Dorinda was an extra/ seat filler in that season; blink and you’ll miss her. Sober Dorinda is savvy and street smart. She’s always had Jill’s number. I am not sure if I missed her saying if she did get a call when filming wrapped; but regardless, Jill always has an agenda.

Taking a break from talking about Dorinda (it’s seriously all I’m seeing on reddit, FB groups, articles…I can’t anymore. She’s atrocious but there are other nutcases to talk about) Interesting observation about Jill- when she “innocently” asked Eva if she can be on her radio show, it reminded me of how the mess with Bethany started. Bethany was immensely popular after RHONY’s first couple of seasons and was asked to go on the Today show (at least, I think it was Today). Jill flipped out and weaseled her way in and I believe she tried on other occasions too. She kept saying that they were a pair and she was also incredibly jealous, not understanding why she wasn’t invited to go on these shows but B was. That started the animosity between them. Jill saw an opportunity with Eva, she couldn’t help herself. Why would Eva want her on the show? Would her listeners even know who the hell Jill Zarin is? When Brandi said that Jill was the thirstiest and most desperate hw to want to return to their show on WWHL the other day, I initially thought she was way off, because that’s clearly Vicki, but now that I think about it, I don’t think Brandi is wrong about Jill.

Taylor, like most of these women, overdid it with fillers but she also had to have facial reconstruction due to fucking Russell’s abuse. I hope that, with this knowledge, people can lay off on the comments. Vicki, on the other hand, has the face she deserves.
