That is what I love about this show the most - so many things that can be missed if you aren't playing attention. I also loved the "Smoking" sign over the booth behind the podcast lady, and the "No Smoking" sign over the booth behind Josh. And I loved that everyone was wearing the scarfs that Lavinia handed out, including the judge and Carol Anne. -
So I assume that Nick and Phyl doing it is a prelude to BIlly and Summer doing it? Will Billmer also use the incredibly uncomfortable looking kitchen island? I can hardly wait. So I guess when there is an accident in GC where someone blows through a red light and is t-boned by another vehicle, the cops don't do an investigation? Look for video? Interview witnesses? Reconstruct the scene? Interview the two drivers involved? Lucky Lilly.

CDAN stands for Crazy Days and Nights, which I did not know but hoodooznoodooz clarified for me. If you google Crazy Days and Nights you will see it is a site that posts many blind items and eventually posts who the item is referring to. On April 12th they posted a blind item about a HW who was stealing from her kids' trust to fund her lifestyle. They just revealed that the item was about Lu. I would love to know how they knew this, and why it took the count and the kids filing a lawsuit three months later for it to become public knowledge.

S10.E15: Wigging Out

Interesting that after dinner the group split up according to whether they were dressed elegantly, or like they were dressed for some random ugly outfit party. Ramona looked ridiculous, and Carole looked like she was channeling a turn of the century madam in a whorehouse. Maybe that is the look she was going for? She looked better in Hugh Heffner's PJs, and that is a pretty low bar. Sonja, Lu and Bethenny looked gorgeous. I loved Beth's dress, and though I don't wear dresses that one made me want to reconsider. Why do these women tell Dorinda anything? And I agree with Bethenny. I wouldn't want to stay in that house, even if it was for free. But then again, I hate busy noisy cities (and could also never live in NYC, so there is that) and if I were to go to any place remotely tropical the last place I would want to stay is in the middle of a city. I loved Lu's comment that the arrangement Scott sent Tins should have a dead body under it. Though I sometimes think the women send flowers to themselves (ala Vicki on RHoOC) we know for sure that Scott sent those, as no woman would send herself such an ugly arrangement. And apparently Scott can't count. They were broken up for at least 60 days of their first year, so he could have saved himself the price of 60 roses. (Assuming there was only one break up in their first year - there could have been more). Didn't Tins say that Scott gave her a diamond tennis bracelet for Christmas? So did she complain that she really wanted this one and that is why he has given her yet another bracelet in less than two months? (She said when she opened it that she had wanted one). And finally, why do these women (mostly RHoBH) not realize that they never look better when their "glam squad" gets through with them. I knew Tins was high maintenance, but this was ridiculous. -
Can you post what this refers to? I can't find a blind item that relates to this. It is interesting though that someone obviously knew what was going on three months ago - I am just wondering who? But in the end I don't have a lot of sympathy for Lu. Maybe because she reminds me of my husband's ex who has stolen from her kids, her parents, her ex, among others. She is a narcissist who doesn't have a maternal bone in her body, and she and Luann are very much alike. Charming, charismatic, and ultimately only in love with themselves.

S13.E01: The Next Chapter

I enjoyed last night's show, and am so thankful that Lydia and Peggy are gone. I didn't mind Meghan but don't think I will miss her either. Others have already expressed what I feel about Vicki. Vicki is not with Steve because he is some great love, he is the only one who will put up with her. When a woman constantly says she doesn't want to be alone and wants to be married, they pretty much don't care to who. I just don't get why Steve is there. In typical Vicki fashion she had to blame the guy helping her at the rope course for pushing her, which of course he didn't. You'd think after all these years Vicki would catch on to the fact that she has cameras on her, showing that she is lying. She really is a slow learner. Poor Eddie - he is my favourite husband (and was even when there were other husbands). I hope he makes a full recovery. Didn't Tamra say their new house is 8,000 sq feet? I couldn't hear either but it didn't sound like 4,000 to me, though it didn't look like 8,000 either. I am glad that Tamra got Shannon to take off her wedding ring. She can buy another ring to represent her "new" family, but to me looking at her wedding ring would just be a reminder that her marriage is over, and David has moved on. I did chuckle at Shannon downsizing to 4,000 sq ft. I live in a house that size but it is just me, hubby and three cats. If I had three teenage daughters like Shannon it might not feel big enough - lol. I laughed at Shannon's younger daughter saying she was a worrier and when Shannon asked if she was worried about her sister going on a church mission the younger daughter said "Oh, no". Lol. So the new HW is an attorney and party planner? How odd. I know several attorneys and they work looonnng hours, often on weekends too. I don't know of any attorneys who have part time jobs too. Though this one seems to work PT as an attorney. Not sure how much I will like her, but am already bored with her home scenes of three young children running around the house screaming. Not entertaining in the least. Please keep them off my screen. Edited to add - the Dubrow house is 22,000 sq ft. -
Aren't the red and yellow roses at the Abbott mansion the same ones that are always there? The only reason I ask is that I don't like the colour red, and hate red and yellow together, so I always find that arrangement jarring. In fact I have always figured they were silk flowers, and was thinking just a few days ago that they really need to update the floral arrangement! I am glad though that someone is enjoying them!

I don't buy that Luann's return to rehab isn't timed to escape questions regarding the lawsuit that her first ex (love that!) and kids have brought against her. IIRC Luann let it slip last year at the reunion that she and Tom had spent the night apart. I don't think she had planned to reveal that, but in any case was still claiming that all was well. And then of course a couple of weeks later she filed for divorce, saying that had not been getting along for ages. (Or forever in my books). Less than a couple of weeks ago Lu posted pictures wishing every one a happy 4th of July, and claiming to be 6 months sober. But the pic Victoria posted 2 months previously showed Lu with an empty martini glass in front of her. So which is it, Lu? And if she was sober up until the 4th of July, why is she reentering rehab 12 days later? And doesn't AA which I think Lu claims to be attending tell people to avoid relationships for a year? But she is hot and heavy with her agent. To echo someone else (I don't know if it was someone on this site or not) I want to like Lu, but she makes it so darn hard. I think she will say and do what is best for Lu, and everyone else including her kids comes a distant second in her priorities. At this point I really don't care if Lu returns next year. If she does, we will hear lies about how the whole trust fiasco wasn't her fault, blah blah blah. Go away, Lu.

Wow, just watched the episode "The Threat". This one, and the Dwight Jones case last week really shows how law enforcement/prosecutors and others who testify against these madmen put their lives at risk. All I could think of when Bradford's smug lawyer claimed that he was no threat to anyone and should be paroled, is that she had better hope that he does not blame her for his parole release being overturned. She may be next on his hit list.

I read Carole's book years ago when it first came out, long before I ever saw her on the HW show. I have always been a Carole fan until this year. I find her very different this year, and that could be attributed to losing Adam after falling in love and not planning to. However I find it grating that she is so cavalier with regards to the obvious benefits she gets with her current "writing career" (in brackets because I think it is pretty much non existent), due to her name. She showed a bit of it last year when meeting with her book editor and expressing surprise that there were actually deadlines she was to meet. Which of course was BS as they would have been in her contract. She did it again this year when meeting the magazine editor about a small puff piece she was writing. Many writers would give their eye teeth to have those chances and connections, and Carole seems totally unaware of/ungrateful for the opportunities she has been handed. Hard to believe she was once a serious journalist. I do agree about circumstances in your life changing how you want to live it. I had the opposite feelings from Carole after losing 4 people very close to me (including my father) in a short amount of time, and then spending the next 10 years (I was 40 at this time) looking after my mom who had many illnesses during her last ten years of life. I was a "I'm gonna do what I want" person before that, and all the loses/responsibilities made me realize I wanted to be in a stable long term relationship. I got married in my mid 40s to an amazing man (they are out there if you don't set your standards low, ala Luann) so my life is pretty much the opposite of Carole's now. And I am grateful every day for it. -

Ah, now I understand what you meant about the containers. Someone else posted that tulips are sold in bunches of 10, so there may be 50 there, or maybe elsewhere. In any case the poor things look like they are fighting for space and the 'arrangement' does nothing for them. I don't grow flowers (the home we bought 13 years ago came already gorgeously landscaped with perennials, so all I do is water and enjoy) but I do buy flowers a lot, and my hubby buys often for me as well. I buy tulips pretty much every spring (but will say have never bothered to count how many are in a bunch) and the most I ever buy is two bunches at once which I find makes a gorgeous arrangement. Tulips are so beautiful that for me, I don't want them to be crowded in a vase but rather each have room to show how gorgeous they are. That said, you can buy tulips where I live for anywhere from $4-$6 a bunch, so even buying 5 bunches would be about $30 at most - pretty cheap as flowers go. I never said there was a discrepancy with what Carole said, in fact her timeline lines up. (You said the clips may have been out of order). She said in early January (as I posted in my last post) that she had not seen or spoken to Adam since the day of the marathon which was in early November. I remember her also saying that she was surprised as she thought they would spend more time together after the marathon - I remember that because I was surprised that she was admitting that she had not heard from him for 2 months. I agree that this episode was in February, so a month after the one where she said she had not heard from him. My original post wondered what (or who) Adam had been doing in the two months that he did not contact Carole, and did this person run out of coffee or change brands? (Which was supposed to be a joke alluding to Adam coming to see Carole for "coffee", but maybe not to all). Seems obvious that he was seeing someone (or someones) as Carole had said previously that she told him when they were having their coffee meetings that it would hurt her if he was seeing someone else (even though they supposedly were not together). -

I found the speed dating less depressing than Sonja and Tins dating guys who have barely just graduated from high school. People magazine is now carrying the story (and US magazine) complete with pics that Lu has posted from the 4th of July. One is of her hanging off the count, who looks none too impressed. I find the story in People to be quite believable. -

I didn't see the third container so rewatched- all three containers are together on the shelf, with one behind the other two. Definitely did not look like 60 tulips to me - lol. (Also wondering how you knew she had them in three matching containers without seeing three on the shelf, or did I miss something else?). Carole said in an episode filmed in early January (I think the first one back after their xmas break) that she had not heard from Adam in two months, since the day of the marathon. I know little about flowers/plants myself which is why I think someone gave me this tip. I worked like a charm, and apparently works for other cut flowers as well. -

So Carole said that Adam sent her 5 dozen tulips? Did the other two dozen already die? Because there was no way the flowers shown were more than 3 dozen, tops. I guess Carole doesn't know that in order to keep tulips from drooping, you add a penny to the water. Didn't Carole say a few weeks ago that she had not heard from Adam in two months? So did whoever was serving him coffee over the last two months run out? Change brands? What gives? Tins must be so embarrassed to be watching this episode back, knowing that we know that she and Scott have broken up are taking yet another break. I guess the experiment of living together did not work out. Did she move back down to her former suite? Her friend was hilarious - I loved him talking to the shoes. Can we keep him and ditch Tins? I enjoyed the speed dating scenes (except the creepy guy that Sonja was with at the end). Bethenny's impression of Ramona had me in stitches. I also loved her TH regarding info to put in the dating profile: "I won my grade 2 spelling bee". Too funny. -
Vicki Gunvalson: Her Love Tank Runneth Over

This is my recollection of Brianna and Michael's relationship with Donn when he was married to Vicki. In fact they both seemed to just tolerate him, as did Vicki. I remember them going on vacation and leaving Donn at home. I was surprised when I heard how long he had been with Vicki, as the kids treated him as someone who had only been in their mother's life for a few years, and was as important to them as any given piece of furniture in the house. So it is interesting to see that now that Brianna is a mom, she seems to appreciate Donn. Or maybe she is just going along with Ryan wanting to stick it to Vicki via Donn. Either way though, good for Donn for being a part of Brianna's life. I looked at the link regarding Ryan and Vicki's feud, and saw the pic Ryan posted of their home. I would imagine housing is fairly cheap there (certainly compared to California) but I am wondering what Ryan is doing now for a living? And finally, when does the new season start? -
No, I thought so too, if only because they were being interviewed together though it had been years earlier than she had initially hired him. I don't know that I would consider her privileged. Her wealth came from her own hard work, and her own hard work in turn provided this monster with the ability to live off his ex wife while he was stalking her. If anyone was privileged, it was him. This a Dateline episode that could have been 2 hours. And what a coincidence that Josh actually was friends with the first victim. I will have to watch the episode again because there were a few things I was unclear about. When the private detective was tailing Jones, he said they went into the family home and into the room he was staying in, where they found the disturbing books among other things. Whose family home was it? When Connie said at the end that she has been married twice, but has only ever had one husband I teared up. I am so glad those two found each other, though what a horrible reason to have had to come together in the first place. Edited to add - while I had a minute I read a couple of reports on this case. Jones got more than $6000 a month in support (for 5 years). He also got $97,000 in a checking account, $131,000 in a retirement savings account, $50,000 from his son's college savings account, and other payments. The one report I read also says that he had unsupervised visits with his son until he tried to abduct him, then was changed to supervised visits which he was supposed to pay for but refused. The article then said the visits stopped, but that doesn't seem to be the case as Connie said she had to pay for the visits. I really wish this had been a 2 hour episode. In any case how many lives were changed by this monster? When I think back to the day that the first victim was murdered I remember the day well as hubby and I had just celebrated an anniversary a couple of days previously, and he left the morning of the 31st on a trip. To think all 6 people were alive and well then, and within a short time they would all be dead. Sickening.

Unfortunately I don't get WWHL. It sounds like from another post that the poll with Dorinda and Sonja was over whether it was any of Dorinda's business that Sonja uses the Morgan name for business ventures? What was the poll with Bethenny and Dorinda regarding? With regards to Lu, does anyone know the final outcome (assuming there has been one) of her court dates? I think for the last one where the date was publicized, Lu was in another city doing her cabaret shtick. I never read anything after that date that said what the outcome was. -

I am so disappointed that Coupon Cabin commercials don't air where I live. So haven't they just broken up for the 2nd time in the short life of their relationship? In the last few weeks I think. I doubt very much it is Tins doing the breaking, considering the falling on the floor scene, and trying on wedding dresses with mommy. Poor Scott though - I really hope he makes it stick this time or Tins could start stalking him, and end up with a Chicago PD mug shot. She was definitely unhinged during dinner when defending her sophomoric behaviour. -
S10.E13: Arrest and Relaxation

And the myth continues that Sonja is using the Morgan crest on her footwear. She never said that, and she didn't. What she said is that it is the deer from the crest that is on the shoes. And that is all it is - a deer. A deer that looks like any other deer I have seen on half a dozen different makes and styles of shoes. I googled her collection to see if she used the crest on any of the footwear and she doesn't. So the only thing Morgan on the footwear is her name inside - Sonja Morgan. Why do people not get up in arms about Lu calling herself a countess when she no longer is, and basing her whole persona on that? I don't get it. This! There is nothing fashion forward about being a sheeple who mindlessly follows whatever stupid trend is going, without carving out your own style. Geez. Reminds me of high school. I had a friend who really did have her own style - she looked and dressed like no one else and was original. Then there were the girls who bought every single newest piece of clothing, no matter whether it suited them or not, or looked ridiculous or not. Not an original thought in their heads. Carole is the latter. -

You are right - I missed that during the dinner. And yes, I remember her wearing the PJs before (can't remember if it was just the top or the set), and at another party she wore a Heffner inspired burgandy red robe. Carole tries way too hard, and is really missing the mark this season. -

I am so glad that someone brought up the fact that Dorinda keeps going after Sonja whom she thinks should not use the Morgan name, but completely gives a pass to Luann who's whole persona is built on having been married to a count. Heck, from what I have read she isn't even a countess anymore, since she was married to TomCat for a New York minute. She never changed her name when she married Tom, and is still capitalizing on being a former countess. Why isn't Dorinda asking Lu why she isn't going back to being Luann Nadeau of Berlin Connecticut? The other thing that bugged me was Dorinda saying that she is not living her life through Hannah. Why would she? Hannah does not have a famous family/father. But Dorinda DOES live her life through her dead husband - Richard has been and continues to be her claim to fame. That is no less pathetic that what she accuses Sonja of doing. Wow, Tins sure is defensive about wedding dress shopping. I agree with others here that think that is way different that looking at engagement rings. I have been happily married for 14 years and look at engagement rings all the time. And many other pieces of jewelry in any given jewelry store, because I love jewelry of all kinds. OTOH I hate dresses, and wasn't even happy about trying on wedding dresses when I was getting married. Luckily the second one I tried on I fell in love with - otherwise the process would have been pure torture for me. WTH was up with Carole arriving at Lu's room once again wearing Hugh Hefner's PJs, but this time with stiletto heals? Then later on they showed her packing and she had three Hugh Hefner approved pairs of slippers that would have gone just fine with the PJs - black velvet, red velvet and a leopard print pair. It's like she did up one of those binders ahead of time of which outfit goes with which accessories, but then forgot to bring it. I am trying to remember which HW I saw do that once? Was it Peggy or Lydia on RHoOC? Or Dorito on RHoBH? Whoever it was, I thought it was hilarious. Loved Beth's comment to Tinsley that she was going to go shopping for her third divorce dress. And her imitation of Dorinda - so funny. That is why I can't quit Bethenny. -
The one thing that did give me pause was the defense saying that because his net worth was $1.5 or $1.8 million (I can't remember which), he was well off and didn't need Diane's money. Their combined wealth might sustain their lifestyle, but his alone certainly would not. His wealth alone would be considered maybe upper middle class (at least in my books) at most, hardly the money needed for their lavish lifestyle and ranch. After reading some posts here I am starting to agree that maybe he hadn't planned it (then and there) but that it was a crime of opportunity.

I remember this case being covered by either 20/20 or 48 Hrs as well. I didn't think Tex was guilty then of deliberately killing Diane and I still don't. A big reason is because of the circumstances. Tex was asleep when Diane and her friend decided to take the detour due to traffic being backed up. So had traffic not been backed up, was Tex going to ask for the gun so he could shoot Diane because the traffic was slow? And if he deliberately shot Diane, why would he do it with a witness, and then immediately at the hospital try to get the witness to say she was not there? Makes no sense. Though I guess in the end he wasn't convicted of deliberately shooting Diane, but rather of having shot her (and killed her as it turns out). I actually came on her to see if anyone had commented on Diane kissing like a guppy (if guppies kissed). Gross. I didn't find either Diane or Tex particularly likable, so it is hard for me to root for either one. Not that I think Diane deserved to die, but I do think it was an accident committed by a doddering old man.
