  1. The only reason I can think of that the ladies could not stay overnight as that it appeared they were flying back to the U.S. the next morning? When they showed them packing and leaving it was 17 hours later, so would have been around 8 in the morning. The only interesting thing to me was the Dorinda/Lu incident. and Dorinda seemingly admitting from her "Let go away for 21 days together" comment that she needs help. Though it appears that she has backtracked, which is not surprising. The Beth/Carole friendship/non friendship has been done to death. Though I do think it is interesting that even in April (I was googling for something to do with Adam and baby and came across a link) Carole was claiming that she and Beth were still friends. Rather funny that Carole refers to frenemies in her announcement of leaving (which I don't believe is voluntary) when she is the biggest frenemy around. Oh the irony.
  2. Dorinda wasn't that direct, but it was what she alluded to. She said "Let's go away for 21 days together" and Lu said "I'll go with you". I wonder if Andy brought it up at the reunion? It doesn't sound like he questioned what she meant on WWHL (I don't get the show) as she from what I have read here still claims she doesn't have a problem. What a great opportunity to pin Dorinda down, if Andy squandered it both during the reunion and on the live show.
  3. Bolded part made me LOL. Did anyone else catch Dorinda saying to Luann that they needed to go away together for 21 days? And then Lu said "I'll go with you" or something similar? I thought that was Dorinda admitting that she needs rehab. I wonder if it will be brought up at the reunion? I wasn't the least bit surprised that Tins said she wants to be a wifey. I assume that is why she attached herself so quickly to Scott, and is so desperate to hang onto him. And the reason she is made up so much, no matter where they are going or what they are doing? The glad squad have to be kept busy. I was surprised they weren't on the boat trip for touch ups. When Sonja was helped off the boat when they first arrived on the island, I could see a price tag under her cover up, which I think was attached to the cover up. Did she leave tags on everything she brought? (I know she has done that before regarding tags). I agree with others who said she plans to return the items, though I will say that anywhere I buy a bathing suit, it is not returnable. Because of people like Sonja.
  4. Can someone elaborate on this story of Adam claiming Baby (I assume it is) as an emotional support dog? I have googled it and come up with nothing so not sure what this refers to.
  5. Ya, I rolled my eyes at the claim that she had never watched the show so had no idea what to expect. What an idiot. It took me 2x to get through the short clip, because her voice is so monotonous that I kept losing interest. Since I was tuning Carole out, I looked at her clothes they showed her wearing over the few clips shown from previous years. Totally normal. Carole has gone off the deep end this season, and what she is wearing in the clip is once again Carole trying way too hard. I can't wait until those of us who think she looks ridiculous are told this is being fashion forward. Lol. Wearing ratty looking (faux? real?) fur in summer, not to mention the fugly scarf? She is just soooooo thirsty.
  6. After my disappointment of my fav team leaving last week, I decided to tune in again. I was meh on this episode. It was annoying that I think it was half the teams made a huge mistake by driving to Oshawa instead of Ingersoll, but it really made no difference since they arrived in the middle of the night and the challenge did not start until the morning. Contrast that with my fav team last week leaving because they had the bad luck to have a cabbie who didn't know where he was going, compounded by being u-turned because they were a strong team. I know it is the game, but it ticked me off seeing the stupid moves made this week with no consequences. And Mar annoyed me as well. Unless it was the editing monkeys, it looked like she could have tried and nailed the challenge long before they ended up last because of her need for perfection. The trainer looked like he was ready to kill her - I know I was.
  7. I do agree with those who have said that they seem to be trying too hard. Both the actors, and the writers IMO. I find Josh to be sillier than last year and it isn't really working for me. Also I find that Sherri Shepperd isn't as funny as last year she delivered her lines often with a smile which made her endearing. This year she seems more sullen which doesn't work as well for me. And like another poster above, I really don't like her hair - it does nothing for her. That said, the show for me is still better than 99% of comedies out there.
  8. So I guess the only "trend" here is wearing the ugly shoes with the dress? Because there certainly is nothing trendy about the dress. Incorporating animal prints with loud colours/prints has been around for as long as animal prints have been popular - as in decades. Maybe it is just the way Carole is sitting, but the dress appears to swallow her and IMO does nothing for her. But the dress paired with the shoes once again shows that Carole has no style of her own, and is a sheeple where fashion is concerned. I am much more impressed by people who have their own style, rather than women who follow the latest "trend", regardless of how stupid it looks.
  9. Geeez, whoever called him the next TomCat (was it Bethenny?) is right. Not only was he sniffing around Beth, Ramona and Carole, but he is posting about his appearance on Instagram. Eeewww.
  10. OMG, so much funny stuff in these two episodes. As others have said, I loved John Lithgoat. and Carol Ann being weighed on the doggie scale. Other highlites for me were Dwight and Anne with the bags of swag from Lavinia's gift wrapping room (ala Candy Spelling), and Josh with the catchy phrase as to why Lavinia must be found not guilty, echoing Johnny Cochrane's "if it doesn't fit you must acquit". I always have to watch each episode twice because there is just so much that can be missed the first time around! They have made Josh a little sillier this year than I would prefer. I didn't think the scene in front of the ladies washroom was funny at all. But overall I think it is close to being as funny as last season.
  11. She might be easy to get along with when she is doing nothing and has no responsibilities (which of course is the majority of time we have seen her) but Carole's editor that we saw last year (I think it was) certainly was not happy with Carole missing her deadline and appearing to not really care that she had. I recall her being quite perturbed with Carole, and she definitely gave the impression that it was not the first time. And the editor of Cosmo had to call Carole to find out how far along she was on the puff piece, which Carole then lied about. I don't consider that easy to get along with, but rather irresponsible and arrogant.
  12. I am surprised at this, because one would think that if she still had all these great connections that she would have written something more substantial than a short, badly written puff piece for a fluff magazine as part of her story line this year. There was nothing impressive about either the offer of writing a short article for Cosmo, or her process of writing it which appeared to be pretty much non existent. I find that people's work ethic is pretty much with them their entire lives. If they had a great work ethic at the pinnacle of their career, even years later as their career is waning they have the same work ethic. Carole showed that she has a lousy if not lazy one. It will be interesting to see if she is able to take advantage of connections that most writers would give their eye teeth to have. As another poster pointed out, not only did Carole show herself to be lazy, she was actually bragging about it on the show. Not someone I would be approaching with the offer of a job. But you are in the business, so if what you say is true (and I have no reason not to think it is) Carole is lucky indeed.
  13. I don't know that I believe that is true anymore. Carole on the show has shown herself to be lazy where writing is concerned, including missing a deadline for her last book (which tanked), and expressing amazement to the Cosmo editor that she would have a deadline for the puff piece she was writing. Not to mention lying on camera to the same editor as she was munching on popcorn, saying that she was at a certain point in writing the puff piece while in reality she had not even started. Not someone I would be calling on for any serious writing assignments, or any writing assignments at all. (And honestly, having read the puff piece online, anyone here could have written it). You can only coast so long on past accomplishments, and I think Carole's ship has sailed as far as having any meaningful career again is concerned. Maybe that is why she is shilling for a bunch of odds and sodds businesses. I do find it interesting that Carole announced she was leaving after the reunion taped. Didn't it just finish taping a few days ago? And Carole announced yesterday that she is leaving? Maybe the taping didn't go to her liking, and she figured she had better get out before she was asked to leave. Just a guess, of course.
  14. Not to mention that Beth is the same person she has always been. She is a crier, and would have been during the time that she was going through her divorce and getting the restraining order against Jason for stalking her. Carole was not only around for all of that, but Beth's BFF. But I guess for the free vacations, she could put up with Beth's crying then.
  15. And no one is discussed more than Bethenny. Even in their individual threads, Bethenny's has more than twice as many pages as the closest Howives, which would be Carole and Lu. Heck, even Beth's divorce has its own thread which has garnered 77 pages. Lol. You have to have a thick skin to be a Beth fan. But we all have our favourites, and wives we like one year and not another. I was a Carole fan up until this year and do find that she has changed. I won't miss her.
  16. I am not on Instagram - can you elaborate on the commercials? Who is she shilling for? I did see one for donuts (I think it was). I would think that Carole more than anyone will miss the Bravo paycheck, so I guess this is how she is trying to replace that income?
  17. I am still dying to find out who Evelyn is. Martinigirl, where are you?
  18. That was one of my favourite parts of the night. That and Tins being totally oblivious to the heated conversations on either end of the table. And what was that Ramona had? I looked like a rather large hard sided case with a big mirror inside the lid. It was huge for something one would take to dinner to check on lipstick. Did she steal it from Tins's glam squad? Did she carry it in a purse, or was it her purse?
  19. Thanks for reminding me of this. When Carole went on about how she couldn't understand how Beth was upset, given all she has, I just shook my head. She knows better than anyone what Beth went through with Jason, the divorce, and the restraining order against him because he was stalking Bethenny. So now from what I understand the restraining order is about to come to an end. On top of it Beth had great responsibilities with her companies, etc. not to mention the big undertaking of her charity work. Carole is the one with no worries. No ex husband. No child. No job. All she has is an ex boytoy who has moved on to greener pastures. Whaa. I really think if Carole hadn't decided to leave (assuming that she did) that she would not have been asked back anyway.
  20. I blame Scott. Tins only has a glam squad because he is paying for it. She certainly didn't have one last year when there was no Scott around. It is obvious what she sees in him, I just can't figure out what he sees in her. I laughed when Carole showed up at Sonja's room and Sonja asked why she wasn't ready. Considering Carole was wearing a nightgown and housecoat, I don't know how Sonja knew she wasn't wearing that to dinner, since nightclothes seem to be her choice for evening clothes lately. I also thought it was quite obvious that the reason she brought Sonja earrings is to try to make Beth jealous, since Carole sees that Beth and Sonja are getting along. Carole is so grade school mean girl, I am embarrassed for her.
  21. Do you mean Caroline Kennedy or Carolyn Bessette Kennedy? I certainly heard that about the latter, who was of course Carole's BFF. Watching tonight I was thinking (before I found out that Carole was leaving the show) that something needs to happen for Carole and Beth to move on, so I guess this is it. Personally I think Carole saw the writing on the wall, and knew that if Bravo was to chose between her and Beth, Beth would win every time. I don't for a minute think that she is going to be producing and writing. As someone pointed out, she can barely write a puff piece for Cosmo these days. Lets face it, she has no storyline and is dispensible. Bye bye, Carole.
  22. Well there is my favourite team gone, through no fault of their own. I know it is part of the game but I hate it when one team (or more) falls behind because they are unlucky enough to get a cab driver who doesn't know where he is going. Add in that I was bored with the tasks they were given including the dance, and I don't know if I will continue watching. I only started watching this after not watching the American version for many years, because it was a Canadian version. But the same things that bugged me on the U.S. version are bugging me now. Add in that I was ill watching cats being stuck in small cages and another one being shoved into one, and I will say that I totally hated the whole episode.
  23. I don't know if this is considered a spoiler because it is public knowledge (I read it on another site and then googled as well) but :
  24. So Nate comes to GC because he is on sabbatical but has really come to treat Victor? So WTH is he doing working at GC Memorial? And why is he treating his cousin's baby-to-be (or not) mama? And most importantly, when did he become a hematologist? Or did I miss that that is his specialty? (Which is entirely possible because I ff many of his scenes - I am just not feelin' Dr Nate). I did roll my eyes though when Devon asked how long Hillary has, and Nate answered that it wasn't up to him. No s**t, Sherlock. I have forgotten - is the actress who plays Hillary leaving of her own accord or being let go?
  25. Yep, two marks against the newbies as they have 6 banshees between them, and they are not the least bit entertaining. Ugh. I would love a show with Eddie, Emily's husband and Archie. That is all I need. I loved it when Emily's husband told her that contrary to her belief that her embryos are lonely, that they have each other. That cracked me up. I hate women who are never happy. Does she expect her sister to now be a surrogate for a third pregnancy? And she has no guarantee that if she had another girl the two sisters would get along. Stop making up drama, Emily. I know you need a storyline, but this one is a dud. As are you, so far. While I think Vicki was wrong not to tell Kelly that she was double dating with his ex, Kelly has spent the entire time she has been on the show letting viewers know that she pretty much hates her husband, he is boring, she doesn't love him, etc. Pick a lane, Kelly.
