You are spot on about the dog, Erik could have phrased it differently. Rocky is a cutie and I would have a hard time denying him anything and I think Virginia does not like the hard work it takes to make a relationship work as much as she hates to discipline her dog. As far as Erik asking VA to cancel plans if he is in town, I get it. She will have plenty of time to party with friends when he is out of town, the fact is his work schedule can be erratic and VA saying she will not cancel on her friends tells me she does not want to spend time with Erik. I have a close friend who was a flight attendant and her husband is an airline pilot, if he is home she is home because that relationship is important to her, I do not make plans with her if he is home because I value my friend and I want her to spend time with her husband. VA's friends should realize she is married and the importance of her marriage, if she cancels plans with her friends so be it. What do we think VA is cancelling anyway, a night of drinking? I bet there will be other nights of bar hopping she can catch up with her friends. The message was not given in the most effective way, Erik lacks the ability to say it in a way that would be more receptive by VA. He could have said, "when I come home I really look forward to seeing you and spending time with you"...he failed in his delivery and now VA is pissed because she feels controlled.

Tre keeps egging her girls on to cry about Nono, "don't you feel sad and miss Nono, come here let me hug you because you feel so sad about missing Nono," she did to Nono on the beach after her mother died, she did it to her girls often. Enough already, Tre needs to stop using her kids as pawns to prove to everyone how amazing/loving/devoted/perfect the family unit was/is. I just buried my father yesterday, he did not want a eulogy although I did do a non mushy one anyway...he would have turned over in his grave if he thought I was droning on and on about him especially on TV, he did not enjoy being the center of attention, so much so we are not sitting shiva, also Covid reasons but do we think Nono wanted GIa to have to be filmed reading her eulogy while crying?

Don't get me wrong, I love a bold look, not in my house but I can appreciate the look in small doses but Marge had done it in every room, an accent wall sometimes is enough but she went hog wild. My house is more of that laid back California casual, (Marge would think it boring) beige, blues mixed with multi tonal wood furniture but that is what makes me happy. In my opinion Marge should have scaled back on the circus of wallpapers and stuck with just a few colors but I don't have to live there, thankfully. I do wonder what her inspiration was.

A recipe for a Russian Napoleon cake popped up on my Pinterest page, it looks a lot like Yara's cake. I did not even do a Google search, I think my computer can hear. The author of the recipe does not recommend waiting the 24 to 48 hours for the layers to soften...just thought it was funny that it popped up out of nowhere.

We were supposed to go to Mystic a couple of weeks ago but my father took a turn for the worse so we canceled, I found the restaurant where Tania (of Syngin) works and just to be clear it was my pick for lunch before I knew she worked there! We are thinking at the end of the month we will actually make the trip, will I see you there. LOL.

I stayed at that hotel too but I was with my husband so it was a different experience, lol.

That is what I don' get, why doesn't she see that about this situation and if you think about it she is purchasing another human being. How could you ever value that about yourself, that says a lot about you as a person and probably if she was honest with her friends they would think that too. I have not seen this episode and I am resisting reading the posts, my father died Sunday evening, 94 years old, had congestive heart failure and kidney failure for the last three years...he held on for a week in an end of life way, waited for me to leave the room then he passed away. I am ok (lots to do for the funeral and other misc. things but I am okay), what I am counting on from all of you on the board is some really good snark and somethings to make me laugh out loud.
