  1. I missed Brienne. Love that character. The opening credits were all sorts of fantastic.
  2. I dont thonk the surgeon general’s warning was out then. Yeah, the warning about drinking alcohol while pregnant was actually pretty recent, about two or three decades ago.
  3. I watched the horror of Nicole and Azan on an extended version today. What was I thinking? I started with this show during the Darcy-Jessie season and I admit it.....I’m addicted to the stupidity. If Nicole could read, she’d see the handwriting on the wall. Show, I wish I could quit you.
  4. I’ve been thinking about the very same thing since the first season. Chuck has zero redeeming qualities, refuses to get out from under his father’s thumb and is a complete jerk when it comes to caring about anyone other than himself. Wendy is written as someone who is savvy and can see through people. Why the blind spot with Chuck? He is a slimeball.
  5. Chuck is and always has been a selfish, soulless jerk, something Wendy has been aware of for their entire marriage and has put up with AND enabled it. He didn’t even consider how this would affect his kids forever after. It’s all about Chuck. Maybe it will take public humiliation for Wendy to finally see Chuck for the creepy, bottomless pit of neediness he really is.
  6. Not sure where they manage to find bigger and bigger sharks to jump week after week. I’ve lost all respect for Wendy. She’s chosen to stay with Chuck all this time, knowing what a tool he was and now she’s upset that he went against her wishes? She’s supposed to be a psychologist (or a psychiatrist, I forget which). Hasn’t she ever noticed after all these years that Chuck is a selfish jerk who does whatever he wants and doesn’t really care about anyone else? Did she double down on stupid or something? Good bye, John Malkovich. I won’t miss your lousy Russian accent or your cliche of a character. Why do I keep watching this show?
  7. I figured the last scene, with the people in the park rushing to Yanek’s side and then the camera panning out, showing the tall apartment buildings and the rest of the city in the distance, was the message that the disease was going to be spread throughout the land.
  8. Tough night for James Cromwell. First, keeling over and dying from the flu. Then I switched over to Berlin Station at 10pm and watched James Cromwell’s character kills himself via a gunshot.
  9. I’m wondering if Leida’s job prospects have gone up in smoke as a result of HR seeing Leida’s social media. How funny would that be?
  10. They’re happy to be rid of her. Occam’s razor.
  11. Larissa and Jesse? Just what they both deserve. She needs to practice her shoe throwing skillz. Wasn’t Jesse mortified by Darcey’s acting out? Larissa makes Darcey look like a rookie.
  12. Of all the actors in the world, where did they find the guy who plays Roger? He has zero sex appeal and negative chemistry with Bree. He makes me wonder what Bree could have possibly seen in him.
  13. So let me get this straight: Fernanda was taking Jonathan to task for not having a closer relationship with his mother but Fernanda hadn’t seen her own father for three years? Okay. Gah, these people are so stoopid.
  14. A few days ago I read an article in The Daily Mail that the 90 Day Fiancé producers were having a tough time gathering a cast for the upcoming season due to the government shutdown and resultant lag time it was going to take to get the foreign “fiancés” ushered through the system. Looks like the producers lucked out at least for the next three weeks. They better bring their A game; I live for this ridiculous show.
  15. Is Lagertha fulfilling the prophecy of the oracle? I can’t remember what he told her a few seasons ago and I wondered if the writers handwaved it away because they decided to go in a different direction.
  16. The evolution that I see in Joel is that he has stopped being envious of Midge’s comedy career and has started respecting it. He knows from experience how tough stand up comedy is and I find it refreshing that he has come to admire Midge as something other than a wife and mother of his children.
  17. Of course Eric and Leida want custody of Jennica. If he has full time custody, he no longer has to pay child support. In fact, Tania would end up having to pay them child support. Sounds like a plan that both Eric the Haggard and Leida could live with. Not to mention the free babysitting service for Alessandro.
  18. I addressed this very thing in a post about Episode 11. The Donovan family, including a dishonorably discharged Connor, go to family counseling with Dr. Hawkeye and it ends in a brawl over whose egg salad recipe better, Abby’s or Mrs. Hawkeye’s.
  19. It was a hole in the ground. You didn't miss much. Floki enters the hole in the ground and ends up in Westworld.
  20. It is sad but there are plenty of women who may give him a chance. As long as there are women out there who seek out prisoners for a relationship (see Love After Lockup), there will be desperate women who would find someone like Colt attractive. And many of those women would fall into the “My love will change him” category. Bless their hearts.
  21. Best part of the episode is seeing that Pip returned safely from Mordor and has grown a few inches since his time in the Shire. He even wore shoes!
  22. No wonder they were sitting so close. She’s the ventriloquist controlling his actions and whatever comes out of his mouth.
  23. Fernanda thinks she is so wise. Really she is just another 19 yo who thinks she knows everything about everything and isn’t smart enough to realize how very stupid she is.
