Tease for the third hour: "We'll get the very latest on the Oregon shooting..." ...and they go back two hours in time to the top of of the first hour.

Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee? I wasn't listening closely at that point.

Does anyone else smell Frank Luntz? How the heck they are getting away with calling reimbursement for services rendered as "funding" is beyond my comprehension. I think I might have gotten that there is a 60m appropriation for research, but I'm not even certain of that. The bottom line is that that they want to take away patients' choice to use Planned Parenthood as a medicaid provider of women's health care and Title X benefits. My sympathies, Bachmann was from a neighboring district so I sort of relate. I have a peach of a congresscritter in Keith Ellison. -

The two Chris' last night seemed to acknowledge our exhaustion with the Trump coverage, and noted that they'd only report what's new or relevant and were stopping the baited breath coverage of his every presser and "speech". -
Did anyone else catch it on Monday's show that Whoopi botched CCB's name? Which made MissLindsey botching it on Tuesday even more hilarious. I wanted to punch CCB in the face on Tuesday with her Angels as extraterrestrials remark. She's behaving just like she did on DWTS, we get it, you're all up in God's grill, shut the fuck up about it. Even though I hate everything he says as a neocon, I just can't hate too much on MissLindsey because he's always so gosh darn earnest. And I don't think he'll be dropping out of the race any time soon, it isn't costing him anything and he's got an agenda to push. And damn if I wasn't disappointed in the lack of full discussion about the horrible, obscene attack on Cecile Richards yesterday in Congress. I'm really sick and tired of this being framed as "defunding" when they aren't "defunding" shit. The money that Planned Parenthood gets from the Federal government is in the form of reimbursements for services rendered. It's not a line item appropriation like the term "funding" indicates. This whole thing being framed that way is a Republican trick per normal, so that the subject isn't approached as it should be. What the GOPers are doing is trying to take Planned Parenthood away as a choice for Title X and Medicaid patients.

Really? Seriously MJ? We get Nicolle and Amy voicing bullshit about the PP videos and then a highly invested female congresscritter (she wrote the bill to "defund" Planned Parenthood) voicing more BS about PP and no one from the other side to contrast? I'm thoroughly disgusted by the bias.

Oooooh, the tattle tales have turned on Whoopi (er the one tattle tale that was on Whoopi's side was shown the door last year). I get a kick out of how closely the DM follows everything associated with this show. And we know that most of their reporting last year, unfortunately turned out to be true. I don't doubt for one minute that Whoopi went on this particular rampage, it's very fitting with the personality we've seen consistently displayed on tehSpew.

I hope this makes Griffin and Lack rethink anything they were planning. -
Oh FFS Nicolle, Biden has run twice, not three times. Nice try.

Shit, CCB. Boo hiss. Especially with no Joy to counter her nonsense.

Snore. Who busts out turns sur le cou-de-pied in a teeny bopper angsty rage?

I often don't understand Mika's "vacation schedules". I figured she was off last week from Wednesday on because she had one of her stupid "know your value" rip-off seminars in Chicago on Wednesday. Why neither her nor Joe are there today is a mystery. It's more pleasant for their absence, of course. eta: I stand corrected, the seminar was on Friday, not Wednesday.

Not a clue nowandlater, my default record and watch choice via the X One system or whatever Comcast name it is, is for HD and everything records that way. (Which I'm starting to rethink because it eats up my dvr way too fast.) I would check your default settings and your option settings for TRMS. -
How disappointing.

le sigh. Well I was pretty sure she wouldn't last in the relative seclusion of her birth mom's small town, but hell, she didn't even make it to a snow fall. I guess we can assume that she's not attending school either. What a shame.

Heh, dangerous territory for Brian Williams, the Pope is on a helicopter. tee hee -
Here is Chris Hayes' piece from 2007 about the origination of Obama as a Muslim story. Here is the All In piece from last night discussing the origins of "birtherism". It's a shame that Scarborough is being allowed to report the exact opposite of the truth in the mornings. I don't understand how one cable channel can make such different editorial choices.

I was disturbed by Williams' insistence on dwelling on the "danger" of the situation. It was a real downer. Also, I thought it was incredibly disrespectful how much yakking went on during the mass - I actually switched over to FNC for a bit because they weren't talking over it. SHOCKER! And once again as I type, security, security, Boston Bombing, security. Didn't Pope Francis tell us to be JOYFUL? -
Interesting. I agree @Mumbles, I've seen nothing that indicated that the custody situation was resolved or decided in any way.

What we saw was a segment of an interview that was done for Nightline. Lee Daniels is in all kinds of hot water with Sean Penn for comparing him to Terrence Howard, I'm not sure if Penn filed his lawsuit before or after Daniels' appearance on tehSpew though.
-
Chris Hayes went after Trump about accusing Hillary of being the one that started the Birther rumors as well. And Lawrence said that Trump will be on MJ this morning.

Yom Kippur.

I took it to mean that since she was refusing all marriage licenses after the SCOTUS ruling, that it included some straight friends of hers. I could be wrong though.

Lolz. HuffPo Media used to cover them a lot and MediaIte does, but my browser extensions won't even let me see the bloat of HuffPo unless I pause them anymore.
