This is for HFC. My second marriage was a modest justice of the peace affair with a small gathering of relevant family at a very fancy lovely restaurant after as a reception. Our honeymoon consisted of time up north for the weekend at my family's "up north" place. "Up north" has real meaning in my state... Anyways, it was in October so it was wood splitting time so my brand spanking new hubby and my father were off splitting wood when all of a sudden all manner of cuss words and a bit of high pitched pains sounded so the women ran to see what happened, the tip of my new husband's left ring finger was gone! I dug through the leaves and found his glove with the tip in it, we threw it in a cooler on ice, bound his finger and iced it and headed to the hospital. Of course, we ran into a long train - and I'm yelling and screaming and gesturing and honking at the Engineer to no avail. :( They couldn't reattach it. He was in the hospital for a night. Here's one good bit of news for you HFC, because it only took his first knuckle, it didn't get his whole nail bed which caused all manner of infections and aggravation over the years, so perhaps having it clear off will help your son once he acclimates to it. ? ♥ Silver linings maybe? I always sort of felt like that cursed our union being his wedding ring finger, and I wasn't wrong. Probably not really because of that. (That would be children with disabilities as I've attested my problems with husband about before.)

With severely impaired students, that is definitely not the way it works where I live. There are level 1, 2 and 3 schools for services, especially for emotionally behaviorally disturbed IEP children that prove that they are incapable of being mainstreamed. This. My ex who was in charge of getting licensing for the lab that he directed used to cuss up a storm about NY and all the BS he had to go through with them. I feel like I overshared big time here when I was in totally triggered mode about JoshGate I. Going back a few pages to a cute story about a child's first research paper. My kids did theirs in first grade, footnotes, bibliography, the real deal! (I think this is an excellent idea by the way as it takes the intimidation factor right out of if, they are so young they don't notice it!) Anyways, the paper had to be on an animal. The problem was that my kids attended a Spanish Immersion school and every year they would run out of books about animals at the right reading level in Spanish both in the school library and also at the local public library that carried a lot more books at the elementary level in Spanish than most. Some background, at the immersion school there was no English allowed starting in kindergarten, I knew that he was reading a little in English before kindergarten but since it was not measured at all at school I had no idea at what level at that point in time. He wanted to do his paper on turtles, he couldn't find a book at school and we couldn't find a book at the local library, I desperately checked the wider library system and the major bookstores, nada. Finally, he went to his teacher and begged to use a book in English, she explained to him that she was concerned that he couldn't read it properly to use it as material successfully, he told her that he was pretty sure that he could. She asked him to show her, so he went off and grabbed a Dorling-Kindersley (4th grade level reading) book on turtles in English, brought it back to her and preceded to read it perfectly to her in English, she was floored! She called me later that day to share the happy news. He did such a good job, he got sent around the school to give presentations to various classes. I was one proud momma! The things your children learn when you're not paying attention...

No that's not exactly what he's implying. What he is implying was that Bernie meant to go after Hillary for the server, emails, non-transparency, ill-handling ... whatever that has now become a complete distraction from the issues. As a criticism of her, not the media or the GOP, that because she made the mistake in the first place... That it was meant as a criticism of her, personally, but he didn't phrase it correctly. Just as Mika keeps trying to glom on to (the criticism of Hillary meant). I wish if he's going to keep implying things, he'd just come out and say what he means completely.

I'm not sure, that's why I'd like to know more about Halperin's so-called inside info on this. Bernie did say it was probably not good politically to say - before he launched into it. I guess I sort of listen for these sort of things from Halperin and Heilmann because they write those books that seem to be full of this gossipy stuff.

Halperin is saying that it was a mistake, that he'd meant to criticize her about the emails, but it came out wrong. Halperin didn't mention this tidbit on his Bloomberg show yesterday though, just on MJ yesterday and again today.
