MSNBC: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Vaulted)

And now we get fucking Joe Scarborough pronouncing evangelical in a way that I'm not familiar with. So much for "breaking news". -
Of course not, I just don't understand the context of it, since it's not generally been intellectually introduced.
-
I don't understand the linking to right wing media in this thread sometimes.

Brian Williams makes his long awaited? first appearance on MSNBC as Pope Francis lands in the U.S. -
I only gave in to a smartphone 3 1/2 years ago, knowing that once I did, I'd use the darned thing for everything. And I did, true story. Those apps are handy but I'm still pretty careful about disabling a lot of privacy things and turning off my "location services" unless I am actually using something that needs them. For me it's not about the kids and technology, it's about giving up every personal aspect of my life to marketers and the NSA. I'm not a fan. bigskygirl, glad that you are starting to get answers, jellybeans, sorry to hear about your friend and HFC? There just aren't any words, but you have my happy thoughts. :)

Spare me the outrage against Obama on the Dancing Boys - let's not pretend that this hasn't been going on since the beginning (under Bush as well). To my way of thinking, this whole panel looks ignorant and flat footed for being unaware of this practice and being shocked "that this went on at American bases". I hate to seem insensitive, but these motherfuckers have been raping the women and men (their peers and subordinates in arms) in their midst and getting away with it since the beginning of time and we rarely see any outrage. Fourner continues to be despicable.

My kids that were immersion do this ALL the time. They also often conjugate verbs in strange ways.

They were hypocrites, they banned it for anyone else but themselves.

Did anyone else notice that Pamela only seemed to find any affinity with Raven? She kept looking at Raven for affirmation and looking away from Michelle especially. She looked like she wanted to slap a bitch at Michelle. I also found it odd that Michelle was lead on that interview - and a mistake. Christie needs to get his ass home and take care of his constituents.
-
At least Raven primarily couches her opinions in opinion and doesn't state her opinions as facts, Joy as well, and goodness knows, we get Whoopi's opinion whether we want it or not!

I haven't read the article yet, but I have to say that I'm not shocked about this, and think there is a strong possibility that it was known and nothing was done. There was a special on Frontline about "The Dancing Boys" of the Taliban that covered this disgusting cultural phenomenon.

I had to laugh at how long it took them to admit the Democratic CNN/ORC poll meant a lot more in terms of a Clinton "comeback" than they were first willing to admit. I received the "breaking news" email from CNN about a half hour before they even brought it up, and CNN characterized it much more "glowingly" for Clinton than we got courtesy of Morning Joe. I know y'all are shocked, lol. eta: I'm actually shocked that Chuck Todd wasn't there proclaiming it to be an outlier. First thing on the Diaz Balart show was "strength" in the Clinton numbers. The bias on MJ against Clinton is so bad, and they wonder why she has no interest in appearing on their show. On another note, I had no idea that Heilman was so tall, and it was hilarious to see Joe quieted about Trump by Abdul-Jabbar.

I have to correct the record about Jenny McCarthy and her anti-vax stance, she is still very much involved.
-
Thanks Haleth, I stand corrected.

How funny that Ellen jumped on the controversy and exploited it. And it's hilarious to see Arbour in the role of tattle tale, biting the hand that extended her 15 minutes of fame.
-
Of course Bitsy is. She never misses an opportunity.

There is also a myriad of other important topics to cover other than this stupid horse race. I really wish that MSNBC wasn't changing before our eyes, and I do find it discouraging that they could not maintain ratings with their "Lean Forward" more progressive programming. I will never understand the relative success of Fox News and right wing radio compared to my more liberal, progressive belief system and programming.- 3.0k replies

Matthews was on Real Time last night and he said (now whether this is the full truth of course is another thing) that they go with the Trump nonsense just waiting for him to do something stupid, like he did Thursday night - and BINGO! They have something to cover that is of some importance. -
Only in the commercials they force you through when trying to view clips on their show sites.

That darned Plan B video is gone from teh intertoobz, had I known someone would successfully scrub it so well I'd have found a way to download it and keep it for posterity!

For my fellow miserable morning after debate MJ watchers, I offer two links to help you feel better about Fiorina and the massive oppo research available should she rise in the polls: Salon Daily Mail She's truly despicable and a traitor against her gender.

Tosses out virtual Ativan, I'm sure this is impossible for you HFC!

Amber alerts are the worst. When they rarely come across my phone I freeze. Last week locally, a family of five was found dead in their multi-million dollar home. School started on Tuesday and the kids hadn't shown up so the police were sent out on Thursday to do a welfare check and they found the grisly scene. It really shook me up, the high school they attended was my daughter's boyfriend's alma mater - too close. Clearly, money doesn't buy happiness. It was a multiple murder suicide. :(

I caught some of Matthews "Hardball" after debate coverage, how pathetic MSNBC looked sitting in the middle of what appeared to be the spin room with all the CNN logos about. They should have done the coverage from DC, and let Kasie Hunt or whomever bring in candidate interviews if need be. -
Fiorina pitch perfect and not shrill? Bitch please. Exactly. Didn't 9/11 happen on his brother's watch? Idiocy.
