There were some crappy things done in the Clinton campaign but there were some really shitty things done by the Obama campaign as well. Like Jessie Jackson Jr playing the race card after the New Hampshire primary. It was easier to see both sides since I didn't have a horse in the race, Biden was my guy and it was over for him. I never ever caught Obama "fever", so I could see the amazing marketing machine that was his campaign. I happily voted for him, don't get me wrong, but I was never over the moon for him like so many people were. Matthews started dissing Hillary the day after the 2006 elections as did many others. The inside the beltway hate for the Clintons never ceases to amaze me. I get why the far left don't favor her, but she got painted with every Bill Clinton sin plus her AUMF vote. It was breathtaking to watch. Oh fuck no. No no no no no. And 4 hours of the MJ mess? What nonsense.

Venlaxafine, generic for Effexor can be really hard to come off of, so in a way HFC you are physically addicted to it - the brain zaps mentioned above can go on for months. You have to wean off of Effexor (Venlaxafine) very slowly generally speaking. Name brand Effexor is available in an XR version, though I wasn't aware that there was an XR version of the generic. Some of these meds stay too expensive even when they go generic. I take lorazepam (Ativan) prn, or as needed so it keeps working just fine for me without any need of increased dosage or worry of addiction. Because it works so well for my anxiety (I take it on bad days or I take it when I'm going to be in crowds) I would never abuse it - I'd be so upset if it ever stopped working for me! There are some websites and apps for finding the cheapest prices for given medications locally. We are currently messing around with my bipolar "cocktail" and I hate hate hate it. A couple weeks ago after Latuda was titrated I had a terrible bout of akathisia which scared me sooo bad I weaned off in two days and got a hollering at from my psychiatrist. I hope we find a decent mix, but I'm feeling pretty good just taking Tegretol so maybe he'll leave me alone! That and my two blood pressure pills and some supplements, I could live with this! I don't think they'll ever find a combination that will make me feel "good" and sleep right, so I'm happy with just feeling good. :) The last mix had me feeling like I was a stoned teenager with the munchies so I gained a bunch of weight, I've lost 8 pounds since we started to "fix" this problem, thank goodness! This is a really good site if you are taking psychotropic meds for depression, anxiety, schizophrenia or anxiety to help guide you through the journey. I found it interesting in retrospect (I should have checked it when prescribed) that it says not to combine Tegretol with Latuda - maybe I should recommend the site to my psychiatrist, ha! I knew about the paradoxical effects of Benadryl, it sounds like you get paradoxical effects to a lot of meds. Sound advice, Muffyn! And hugs, how awful!

It's terrible and so uneven. I thought we weren't going to do this, this election cycle, but it smacks of sexism once again. The good news this time? It doesn't seem like the public is piling on.

Readalot - good luck with the MRI, it sounds like if you have any Benadryl around, that might be the way to go for you since the Ativan didn't seem to do anything. I have a prn script for it for anxiety - it's been a life saver for me over the years. Hugs. ♥

I have a question since I didn't partake, is Errin's law about introducing good touch bad touch in to school systems? Because I have big feelings about that. 1st. We already have that here. 2nd. Kindergarten is too late. I don't know the answer to the second one, but I sure do know I was teaching my kids this when they were toddlers. (Not in a scary way or anything.)

Great Job "Know Your Value" Mika (not) defending Huma Abedin, you never fail to disappoint. Of course this is red meat for the idiots that think Trump is the answer to anything. I despair at how horribly uninformed and willfully ignorant Trump's supporters are.

It's never been addressed in a straight forward way - but it sounds like she has a tutor. It was clear that in LA all the girls were being taught by someone - but it also sounded flexible. Adolescent girls manage boys and dance if dance is something they are serious about - but this is the time that less serious "normal" girls do drop from dance to pursue all sorts of things, especially when they hit freshman year in high school.

I hope my posts don't come off that way. Mine are about concern for her. I am worried about a birth-mom that went running to the tabloids really having her best interests at heart, and even if that situation turns out okay, how Chelsea will do in her new very isolated environment. I hope she likes to ice skate and ski!

But isn't this a big part of the about 6 hours a week that can be in any way construed as therapy from this rehab center?
