I was considering that one. Maybe I'll go on Saturday (matinee, of course), since it's meant to rain here all damn day.

I do wish they'd stop dissing community colleges. The ones around here at least (including the one I work for) all have transfer agreements with the four-year state universities, and we have to meet their standards. There is nothing easy about our classes! They are significantly less expensive, too. I'm not down with Darlene being a lunch lady regardless of the benefits for Mark. I, too, find it hard to believe that they make too much for him to qualify for aid, but at least they finally addressed the aid/loans question we've all been asking about. I am glad, however, that Becky finally figured out that Samwise was a good guy. I hated that she didn't even bother to ask him if the napkin was his. She asked everyone else! He's too good for her.

And that, there, folks, is why the third place contestant should bet zero if the 1st and 2nd are that close. I did get FJ, but I had to think about it for a bit (so much for my "instaget or will-not-get theory!). I also got the TS of nail, gloating, and pipes. I agree that Deschanel needed a BMS. Also, Ben reminded me a lot of Zachary Quinto. I was rooting for him. Deb just seemed bored with the whole experience. Have a great time!

I can't ever find Key limes, either, but I've found that the Key lime juice (the brand here is Nellie and Joe's) works well. My grocery store sometimes shelves it with the fruit juices and sometimes in the baking aisle.

I do love going to the movies! I've been a fair few times since theaters reopened in late 2020. Mostly to the local art house theater, since they are a non-profit and need my money more than the big chain. There haven't been too many recent movies I want to see, although that's about to change! So many new ones coming out soon!

Hard pass on that one for me -- everyone does NOT love Ray Romano.

Free gas -- I have a long commute, and while my car is a hybrid and gets great mileage, I still pay a lot for gas every week. For my second choice, I'll take free house cleaning.

Or maybe stop? Just not get close enough for it to smash your ship to smithereens? What I want to know is where were all these Survivors and Empire sympathizers when Mando, Grogu, and Bo-Katan were on Mandalore before? If the Survivors detected the ship landing this time, why not before? I also expected to see some of the same creatures, but maybe the Moff and crew got rid of all of those.

I am finding that FJ are either instagets or I-will-never-gets. Tonight was an instaget of the highest order -- I finished writing it down before Ken finished reading the clue. But the only TS I got were heels and novel, and I only got novel after novella was ruled incorrect, as novella was my first thought as well.

Did not get FJ tonight. I spent two hours in the bank this afternoon, clearing up a few things, and it exhausted me. That's my excuse for missing FJ, and I'm sticking with it! And the only TS I got were Joule, Argentina, and Alito.

3/5 for me this week, with an asterisk for Tuesday.

I did not get FJ tonight. I didn't even have a guess. Boo, hiss. I did get the TS of cottontail, arrowheads, and Jerusalem. I have got to start paying more attention! I couldn't even tell you what distracted me tonight. I did notice, and like, Ken's tie, though.

Instaget FJ for me tonight. It's on my bucket list of places I really would like to visit. The only TS I got were Navajo, France (on a guess), and "My Old Kentucky Home." I said the last one before Ken finished reading the clue.

I won't watch as I don't get HBO Max and have no plans to do so.

This is what I do, but I recommend not using a glass glass. Use a plastic cup instead so you're not finding glass shards throughout your freezer if the glass breaks.

My newspaper just decided to increase my subscription for the print version to the ridiculous (to me) amount of about $350 for three months. I've downgraded to an e-edition only for $22/3 months. I'll miss the crosswords, but I can buy a LOT of crossword puzzle books for $300!

I wasn't paying attention and missed the photo and the flag entirely. I also missed the clue. For the Roman number category, I apparently thought it was a crossword puzzle clue, and couldn't figure out which letter of the Greek alphabet had 11 letters and rhymed with bye.

Same here! And I didn't know which number it was, either. The only TS I got were Pigeon Forge, TN, and Dachshund/Corgi.

It took me a second to figure out that they wanted two names for FJ, but Tutu came to me immediately, followed closely by Mandela. I also laughed like a loon at Robbi's answer. The only TS I got were chocolate, Rolls Royce, and Cowboys.

I never could keep track of who was who in Dunkirk -- they were all about the same height, with the same hair, and the same uniform.

I saw it last night, and I agree. I thought it was quite nicely done, and while it stretched the truth a bit here and there, it was mostly faithful to the real story. And definitely faithful to the heart of the story, which was what a badass Michael Jordan's mother is.
