I got tonight's FJ just before the music ended -- I probably wouldn't have had time to write it down -- although I said, "Go west young man" since that's the way I've always heard it. I wonder if I would have been ruled incorrect?

I thought exactly the same thing!

The best parts continue to be the interactions between Edie and Jimmy.

I didn't like this one as well. It seemed like they all ganged up on Stewart, and usually at least his wife has his back. Stewart needs a win.

I watched just to see ManBun lose again.

I know it's early in the race, but these people are killing me. Mom and son who BOTH cried need to go. First. I don't know how I feel about the non-elim being on the first leg, but here it is. The mugging for the camera is going to be relentless.

I really liked this one. Although, that was not a stork you'd see in the wild in North America unless it escaped from a zoo. It cracked me up in an evil way how everyone kept hitting the guy on his newly tattooed shoulder.

I can sympathize with Penny -- turning 30 about did me in. It was much easier for me to turn 40 (and even 50!) than it was to turn 30.

Well, here we go with the pregnancy.

Considering that the book is called "Prince Caspian", FJ was another easy one for me.

No kidding. Did Hannah forget she had a mic? FJ was an instaget for me.

I'm done, too. -
It seems like there have been more penalties than first downs.

S01.E02: An Erotic Odyssey

D'you think the older couple took their cue from The Beatles -- Why don't we do it in the road? I enjoyed the second ep more than the first and am looking forward to seeing how everyone who is in the bunker got there. -
I was about to be pissed off that Crane would even consider sacrificing Abbie like he and Boobsy Ross had to sacrifice Nathan Hale, but at least we know she is alive and in another dimension (or something). I don't mind the new person, but I do hate that the gang is separated. Nice, creepy mirror monster, too.

The soccer segment was definitely my fav, and the little kiss on the forehead when the little girl told her uncle she was going to shred the comment cards was just the perfect touch. I have really got to learn their names.

Tonight's group didn't seem too bad, except for middle girl who kept ringing in with wild-ass guesses. FJ was another instaget for me, and before the contestants' questions were revealed, I wondered if someone would slip in that "the" that doesn't belong. Boo, hiss, indeed, Alex.

I think I'm sorry to have missed tonight's game! I look forward to seeing everything on j-archive tomorrow.

The Shannara Chronicles - General Discussion
Browncoat replied to Lisin's topic in The Shannara Chronicles
Could it be that, aside from characters' names and the names of places, it has essentially nothing in common with the book? -
(Aside to grundoon - I think we share an alma mater. Go Tribe!)

The Grand Canyon was the first thing that entered my mind. I'm not sad in the least that Miss "Hunnerd" lost. It grated to hear her pronounce hundred that way. And I still don't like it when contestants start in the middle of the categories.

So much to love (and this was much better than Grease Live) -- The Jester's recap at the beginning -- just in case I didn't have the original song running through my head before the show, it certainly is now. Tad Cooper! Mostly happily ever after! Sid and the army from the Enchanted Forest (with a rainbow flag!). Tad Cooper! Each of the women getting a cat and chocolate for Spinster Island. The D'Dew song. And because it can't be said enough -- Tad Cooper is a dragon! Richard has a dragon! I really hope for a third season, but this'll do if we don't get one.

Angel From Hell - General Discussion

Are they always going to start every episode with what is essentially a recap of the pilot? It's getting annoying, and we're what, three or four eps in? But it doesn't really matter, because I think I'm done. I like the dad and the brother, but otherwise, not so much.
