  1. Brent was a bad loser, too. He practically threw a tantrum when he realized he didn't have at least half of Annie's score. Glad he's gone. Now if we can just get Annie to start at the tops of the categories..... As all of you have said, FJ was so easy, I thought I was wrong.
  2. I've never heard of any of them, but I did see an advert for a RoosterTeeth production before a movie I saw today. No idea what the production was, though, and I suspect the only reason I remember RoosterTeeth is because of this season of TAR.
  3. Bummer about the knives. I thought I heard Tyler ask if they could keep the knife and I thought I heard the knife guy say yes. That would have been cool.
  4. And if you see your train, RUN! Don't stroll through the damn station hoping the train will wait for you.
  5. I totally would have built the knife -- especially since they got to keep the knives! How did it take them so long to figure out that the board was a map to the flagpoles? That seemed incredibly obvious to me. Also? Quit whining and raaaaaace!
  6. I don't think I knew Helen Reddy was Australian. I was clueless on FJ, but y'know, I was eight in 1972, and still listening to kiddie albums. I have, however, heard of "Back in Black" and I think Alex needs to broaden his horizons, musically speaking.
  7. I have lived in Virginia almost my whole life, so FJ was a gimme for me -- the Old Dominion, duh. Glad middle guy didn't win -- it looked like he was going to give himself a hernia with the buzzer. I liked the Canadian girl, though.
  8. I said Peru, too. Llamas always make me think of Peru.
  9. Huh. It looked like they were taking shortbread cookies out of a thin mints box.
  10. Good for Leo. I've been a fan since Gilbert Grape (Titanic notwithstanding).
  11. Jennifer Lawrence was miscast in Joy. Brie was amazing in Room, and while her win wasn't a surprise, it was well-deserved and earned.
  12. Gaga's tribute to Bowie at the Grammys was a travesty, but her performance tonight was outstanding. And you go, Alejandro -- ignore that orchestra!
  13. I wish these were on Saturday. I have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning and go be productive at work!
  14. Well shit. I never ever thought I'd hope Lady Gaga won an Oscar, but the song she sang was miles better than this dreck.
  15. I almost didn't recognize Pharrell, either -- no hat and he's dressed like a grown-up.
  16. I didn't and won't see Hateful Eight, but I'm glad Morricone won. Some of his other scores were Oscar-worthy, too.
  17. Not at all. She always looks great, but I like the change-up from her usual red. Ooops, that was a response to bmoore about Sofia's dress!
  18. If they were going to use an Alan Rickman quote, it should have been, "Always."
