4/5 this week.
-
I don't remember the piece of music, but you could try j-archive.com for all the clues.
-
That is a very pretty tiny bowl!
-
I also said Glacier, and have no idea if it's a county name or not. My brain immediately went to Glacier National Park as a draw for tourists in Montana. Yellowstone Park occupies such a small piece of Montana! I generally think of Wyoming when I think of Yellowstone. So much for my perfect week. I'm still away from home, so I didn't really track missed clues that I got except for Ball Four. That was mostly a guess, and I reasoned my way to it based on my tiny knowledge of baseball. Oh, and I did get the Jonas Brothers, too. No idea how I got that one!

And doesn't always make it about himself, like Alex did so often.
-
And Claire apologized for her behavior. Certainly better than I could have done under the circumstances! I'd be so terrified, it would have taken me a LOT longer to do that challenge. I admire her for just getting over the barrier and getting on with it! TAR might have all the safety measures in place, but that doesn't mean all fears are alleviated. I empathize with Claire a lot on this challenge -- not talking to me and not helping me works better for me as well -- I have to just focus and concentrate. And usually take many deep breaths for many minutes before being able to cross even a normal swinging bridge, much less a tiny wire.

I think Ken said the words had to be before "after" in the dictionary, didn't he?
-
Another instaget FJ for me tonight! Amazing -- especially after whiffing so many during the ToC. I'm not at home, so I wasn't able to keep track of the TS I got. At least my family watches Jeopardy!
-
They didn't know it was a heights challenge until they already chose Claire on the basis of it being a memory challenge.
-
If everyone gets the right flag on the first try, the challenge is too easy.
-
Good for Emily and Molly, but I'm also sad for Marcus and Michael.
-
Totally understandable. So far not water-slide level melt downs, though (was her name Kayla?). Y'know, I give Claire props for apologizing to the task masters for her drama. I doubt I'd have the presence of mind to do that.
-
I think Emily's knee is affecting her mentally as well as physically. Plus killer fatigue setting in. They didn't make mistakes like that in the beginning. That sounds like a really cool trip to Tokyo. Has this been a short season, or is my sense of time skewed?

Right there with you. I think that would be worse than bungee jumping. At least with jumping, you can close your eyes.
-
It has to be a dash cam, with actual camera people in a separate car. They should have to actually dance, not just dress a dancer.
-
I sort of would. I mean, I have such vivid pictures of the characters in my head that no real-life person could compare. I cannot think of one person I would be happy with for Lessa.

Instaget FJ for me again tonight! I knew it wasn't Jamestown (those ships were the Susan Constant, the Godspeed, and the Discovery), and also figured they'd go with some Thanksgiving-themed response. I only got two missed clues -- Muddy Waters and the book cover.
-
Anne McCaffrey's dragons are the best. (Avoid Todd McCaffrey's dragons, though.)
-
Instaget FJ for me for Tuesday's game. It came to me so quickly, I was sure I had to be wrong! And after the TOC, I fully expect to be wrong for FJ. Total surprise when Ken revealed the correct response and I was right! I also got the TS of cavy, 1967, and coy.

Lurky Gravy-train here.
-
We'll just add to that that there are no big-ass mountains in eastern Virginia. It's maybe a little hilly at best.
-
If Sam couldn't win the whole thing, I am ecstatic that Amy did! And I even knew FJ, too! Another good game by three great players. I am sad that the tournament is over. I could watch the three of them play forever.

I see it as Margaret being in a place of revenge, too. She's been waiting for Frank to leave his wife for so long that when she gets the chance to rub it in his face ("see what you could have had if you'd left your wife?"), that's exactly what she does. After all, he kind of does the same thing, just perhaps not quite so obviously. Petty as hell, yes, but not unusual. It doesn't hurt that Donald outranks Frank, too.
-
Me, too! And it was the original one! Hooray!

I watched Disenchanted this afternoon, and I agree -- it was fun! I loved the Evil Queen dance-off between Amy and Maya. They really did look like they were having a blast, hamming it up. Amy's peacock dress was fabulous. Her red dress was pretty fantastic, too. Oscar Nunez is always a treat. It's a decent sequel, but I think the first one is better. One minor quibble -- toads are amphibians, not reptiles.
