Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
KerleyQ replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
Well, of course. It's like back in biblical times, if your husband died, you were expected to marry his brother. These days, if your hit man boyfriend goes to jail, you have to sleep with the moobster he worked for. -
She's a Franco fangirl (supposedly of his art, but I suspect his serial killing clicks her trigger more than his art). At this point, it seems that O, Kiki, Nina, and Scott are the only people in town who can stand the sight of him (well, not Kiki anymore, since she thinks he killed her bankroll).

Not that it would have stopped Ron (see Olivia's pregnancy). -
Agreed. My opinion on that was that it's more you find out something about the way you view that person's life that you maybe didn't realize. In this case, I think what was revealing was more how many times Maya repeated "I like you so much!" to Lucas followed by her saying that he and Riley are like brother and sister.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue

That could have actually worked for me (if they insist on everyone keeping this damn secret). They could have had Patrick becoming super bonded to Danny, and then when he finds out Jason is alive (and Jake), he could be pissed, saying that the whole process of reviving Jason is what cost him Gabriel and Robin, so he'll be damned if he's just going to hand Sam and Danny back over to Jason. -

Yeesh, those spoilers. At this point, they should just shitcan the rest of the Ron episodes, air some classic GH in the time slot until for a few weeks, and have the new writing team start fresh. Go back to some point and declare it was someone's dream or jump forward in time to some point well past this shit and just never speak of it again. Something. And make Jake not Jason, to just get rid of this whole "the whole town is going to know and get thrown under the bus by keeping the secret" shit. -
All I could find is that someone tweeted at her that she looks pregnant. I can't believe that would be enough to push her off Twitter, though. She's been in this business a decently long time. I can't imagine that something like that would be too much for her.

B&B: What's Up Today at Forrester Creations? - Daily Chat

Ridge "Well, Brooke and I have one we're not doing anything with. You can have him." -
And when she eventually finds out, he can say that "I did it to protect you. It would only hurt you if you knew that someone you loved and trusted had killed your father...Bitch."

It was really jarring to go from the well-acted emotional scenes between LG and TK to that ridiculous dancing on the catwalk (and why did it go on all episode long??). -
I can just see it now. Denise will be constantly giving Kiki cash to go to the mall or catch a movie. Maybe she'll make her some spa appointments. "And I'll just hang out here and keep Morgan company while you're gone." With that as a mother and Sonny (or Morgan) as a father, poor Avery doesn't stand a chance.

GH History Lessons: Because History is Always Repeating Itself
KerleyQ replied to Stinger97's topic in General Hospital
Nik probably figures that if Jake regains his memories, and is restored to full St. Jasus glory, he will be able to foil all of Nik's evil plans without breaking a sweat. Because he's St. Jasus. -
Wait, Frank thinks Mo "always gives 1000%"? I'm going to have to beg to differ there, Frank. I would think this would affect a lot of firms' willingness to take on the case. They won't make as much off of this case as part of a bankruptcy asset as they would with the case outright.

I won't lie. I would take Calliope Clay over about a half dozen characters currently on my screen.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue

So, the show expects me to spend a month's worth of caring who killed Silas when the Moobster who killed AJ was walking around free about 5 minutes after getting to jail? Yeah. I'll get right on giving a fuck, show. -
Personally, I've always felt the lawsuit had some merit. Sure, they might not have rocked the boat by filing it if things were going well on their end, but, if the allegations are true, they have a valid case (it's just stalling out because ABC has the deep pockets to keep dragging it along). If the show's websites were supposed to be a part of the deal and the network didn't hand them over, that's an issue. And if the allegations that the network/GH agreed to the stated terms to borrow OLTL characters (not killing anyone off was one example), then GH violated those terms. The claims involving the actors are probably a little less solid, since the actors themselves had the right to pursue employment after the reboot initially stalled out, and because they were able to share RH, who filmed both OLTL and GH for a while there. I guess they could argue that the show pursued those three in bad faith, but it would be a tough sell. At this point, it's pretty obvious those shows aren't coming back. But, PP has creditors to pay, and I'm sure their creditors and the bankruptcy court would like to see it played out to see if there might be something there to cover some of those debts. I don't know enough about bankruptcy law to know this, though - would the fact that PP is in bankruptcy affect the fees an attorney working this case can collect? If the lawsuit is listed as an asset, then the bankruptcy court might have jurisdiction over the attorney fees that can be paid out of it?

Everyone knows girl children don't count. Envy that he doesn't have to see that?

I just got around to watching Friday's show last night, and I realized something - knowing that Ron's gone and his shit is on its way off my screen has made it easy for me to just smile and nod my way through an episode, enjoying whatever good acting I get (Genie and Becky) and not getting remotely rage-y about the awful of the plots. Liz getting further shoved under the bus? Don't care. Denise is still a thing? Don't care. Whatever the fuck Franco and Nina are? Don't care. Who killed Silas? Don't care. No, wait, I do care. I'm hoping it's one (or more) of Kiki, Morgan, and that horrific thing that's been hanging out on Maura's head. I could totally see Morgan and Wig teaming up to do this, with Wig calling the shots while dumb, dumb Morgan carries out Wig's orders. But, seriously, Genie and Becky were so damn good.

Oh, screw that noise. Is Rick, the guy who I still haven't seen sincerely take responsibility for the shitty, shitty way he treated his niece, helping to contribute to her downward spiral and eventual death, really going to ? Fuck right off with that, Rick. -
I could see that, as well. I think that Becky likely wouldn't have gone on her own to complain. When she did complain in the past, she talked to a more influential cast member for back-up. So now there were multiple cast members, including the one the network was most likely to listen to (Mo), her character has been thrown under the bus and dragged for about 100 miles or so, and the ratings show historic levels of suck. I think even the most laid back "I'm just here to do my job" cast member would have joined in on that group. And the best way for this to be done was in a group. From the list I've seen of the actors who went to the network, they were smart in that they had the cast members who have huge and vocal fan bases. It probably also helped to have cast members in there like Becky, who has apparently gone to the network once in the almost 20 years she's been there. When you take that list of actors coming to you, add in the horrible ratings, the slow tide of the media starting to turn on the show, the very vocal unhappy fan response, and add in Ron's horrific social media presence, the network execs would have had to be new levels of incompetent to not make a change.

Considering that the only people I can recall seeing Ava sex up on screen are Morgan and Sonny, the vibrator just might be too intelligent for her tastes.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
KerleyQ replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
This. If she stuck to a bare minimum of not screwing her daughter's boyfriend, I could give her the benefit of the doubt on that whole keeping her identity secret because she doesn't want to go back to prison thing. But when you add that she seems to be screwing Kiki's boyfriend about 10 times a day now, and she won't let her daughter know that her mother isn't really dead, it's the makings of a shitty, awful person. -

I've always felt like that was the plan. It was just timed too well with Carly wanting to get back into Sonny's life and her being the one they needed to test the baby against to see if Morgan could be the father. Carly had to have done something to rig the test, because it would serve two purposes for her. 1) I can't imagine she wanted her son to be tied to Ava for the next 18 years with a kid. And, 2) she could use the baby to worm back into Sonny's life (because if there's a baby to be taken care of, he's certainly not doing that shit himself). Whether the new writers will follow through on that is up for grabs. But I do think that MB might at least try to push for it a little, given that, like you said, he has said Sonny has enough kids. My guess is that the initial plan was to have this all eventually lead to a three way custody battle. Sonny and Carly trying to hold onto their granddaughter in one corner, Morgan trying to get his daughter in another, and Ava/Denise in the third corner (either as herself or still Denise). I'm assuming this would come after Morgan finds out who she is, but not necessarily after everyone else in town finds out who she is. Personally, if I was the new writer, I'd switch that up and put Ava and Morgan in it together and make Michael and Sabrina the third couple going for custody. It could be after Sonny gets into another mob war and Michael realizes that he was wrong to give in, and while he may have initially gone after Avery for the "wrong" reason - to make Sonny suffer - now he's ready to go after her for the right reasons - because he loves his sister and he truly believes that Sonny's life in the mob will never allow her to be safe under his roof. -

When I first saw the pictures, I thought that was Josh and that the picture captions were just wrong. It took seeing the previews tonight for that episode to convince me that was actually Farkle. -
Can I just say how much I love that you had Laura lay down the law with Spencer about what a little shit he was?
