I'm watching The Librarians, which returned with their S2 this week. It's badly written and has so-so acting, but it's enjoyable light fluff - and a nice break from the unrelenting gloom on TWD (which I still watch as well).

I'm already so over the Galavans and hope they get killed off sooner rather than later.

BTW, I watched the Supergirl pilot again and liked it better the second time. But it's still not going to be must-see TV for me, although it's an enjoyable, lighthearted show. I am thrilled it's doing well in the ratings. I do still have a problem with Cat Grant's justification for using the term "Supergirl" and not "Superwoman". It makes no sense to me. Superman is not called "Superboy" even though he's a man. Spiderman is not called "Spiderboy" even though Peter Parker (teen) is younger than Kara (24). I guess they had to call the show Supergirl because of the comics, but then they should've just dropped the Cat speech.

Brooklyn has been getting glowing reviews (Saoirse Ronan in particular) from what I've read. Yes, EBR is a minor character and therefore barely mentioned in those reviews. Upfront - I respect everyone's opinions (agree or disagree). Here's mine... I was fine with Felicity being discontented in suburbia and with her keeping secret from Oliver the fact that she was working with TA. If she had been perfectly content just living with Oliver and doing nothing else (no work, no hobbies, no interests, nothing), then she would've been criticized as a woman who only needs a man to make her happy and only joining TA in the past because of Oliver. Her keeping secret her work with TA and having to lie to Oliver to maintain that secret was done for unselfish reasons and not because she didn't want his judgment. She wanted Oliver to have as much time as possible to stay happy and heal. If she had told him, he would've started worrying about Thea, Diggle, etc. I think that she would've told him eventually and that, deep down, she knew their idyllic life was going to end at some point.

I don't think so - I think a panel is when you have the guest or guests seated up on the stage in front of an audience, and then they answer questions from the moderator and/or the audience.

Some reviews of the last episode have painted Quentin Lance as the man of morals - the incorruptible one who Oliver has always looked up to and sought approval from - all to highlight the disappointment felt by Oliver when he finds out that Quentin has been working with DD. However, as some of you have pointed out above, Quentin has done morally questionable things in the past. He used his position with the SCPD to let Laurel skate on a DUI. He looked the other way when Laurel assaulted that guy with a baseball bat and again when she dropped his name to bully her way past police guards to assault the injured guy in the hospital bed. He did nothing about the vigilante activities of both his daughters, first Sara and then Laurel. He assaulted a hand-cuffed suspect in police custody (Oliver). He's waffled back and forth on persecuting or enabling the Arrow's vigilante activities. Maybe the EPs have a blind spot when it comes to both Lances - Quentin and Laurel - and there's a disconnect between how they're portrayed on the show and how they're described.

MG's answer about the world not knowing Sara was alive after they threw that welcome home party for her is ridiculous. Unless the guests signed nondisclosure agreements, there's social media where they could've tweeted news and pics. Also, there would've been a leak and/or media coverage of the party at the Queen mansion and the reason for it. The news that Sara was alive would've been worth money, esp. with her association to the famous Queen family. When the ship sank and supposedly killed two Queens and a Lance, that was big news. When Oliver turned up alive, that was big news (and Sara's name was mentioned in the broadcast). So Sara turning up alive would've been big news. Also, there was no reason for Sara's grave to still have that old headstone. We had a big discussion on this issue last year around this time when they were secretly burying Sara. As a lawyer - and esp. a trial lawyer - Laurel should have better control over her impulses and emotions. Otherwise, she'd be easily manipulated by the opposing counsel in court.
