Speaking of Daniel's return, I just read on another soap site that his ersatz daddy, Danny Romalotti, is coming back for a short run too. The show better bring up all the messy history between Danny and Phyllis and Christine because it definitely feeds into this notion Phyllis has that's she's a good person (compared to Diane, anyway). They can miss me with any references to Danny's cover of Rock On though. For me that would be a definite Kill Me Now situation.

I watched today for the first time since August 2021, only because I wanted to see Taylor (the Big Brother 24 winner, not Thomas and Steffy's mommy). Apparently she was the lead model. JMW has gotten that pulled-back look around her eyes. I think she's way too young for whatever she's been having done to her face. Was surprised to see Justin. The last I recall of him he had just held Thomas hostage in a basement cage. Yikes, Joseph from BB24 does not have a future in acting. He was kind of stiff as the fashion journalist. His cohort Monte was a little better but AFAIC he can go eff himself regardless. (It's a BB24 thing; you had to be there. 😼) Wait, Thomas is now a "surrogate husband" to Hope? Am surprised Liam let that happen. Are they continuing to make the actor who portrays Douglas play younger than he actually is? Today he sounded to me like Douglas is still four-years old. Oh yeah, there must be plenty of perks Nate forgot to mention such as: unlimited use of the office copier; casual Fridays AND Thursdays; access to the shared NE Netflix account; and, a standing weekly appointment for a free mani-pedi at his desk. The first season set a high bar so we'll see how the sophomore outing does. It'll be hard to top someone walking into her boss' unlocked office to find him naked and on his knees, heartily tossing the salad of one of her co-workers who's bent over the desk. I think Murray Bartlett probably won his Emmy for that one insane moment. They're doing the same thing they did in the first season, having part of the dialogue in the local language instead of all in English. I like that. Is that symbolic of something? Hugh Dancy had an interesting pronunciation of the word "anything." Was that his British accent coming through? It was the son?!!!??? I didn't care for his being used as a deus ex machina and wish the writers had done a better job of setting him up as a possible suspect. It didn't make sense to me that a straight arrow kid who was probably a bit sheltered decided that killing someone was a solution.
