  1. Thank you!!!!!! That's the song. I can now keep replaying it until I get tired of it.
  2. They were making Shaw run a lot in this episode. Poor guy, lol. Another episode where the defense attorney was being wild in court but this time the judge reined her in. Seemed to me like she was bad at her job but used a lot of tactics to try to deflect. So did the defense attorney know all along that the defendant was going to lie about the white supremacist threat to try to get out of it? I found this was a tough one to watch.
  3. Ditto comments upthread, isn't Jacob Jewish? Seemed to me like caroling wouldn't be his thing anyway. Ava was killing it in that sexy Santa outfit. Wow. Maybe not appropriate around those kids though. Does anyone know what that rap/hip-hop song was when Gregory first sat down with Janine in the club? Tunefind doesn't have it. I've googled clips from the lyrics I thought I heard but had no success. Is it possible it was just something created for the show? Janine slow grinding on Greg! Giiiirrrl. Bad Gregory, just leaving Janine hanging like that. I wonder how far he would've let things go if Amber hadn't called? But Janine knows he's seeing someone so unless she can confirm they're not exclusive she should leave that alone. Interesting choice for Ava's boyfriend. I guess a professional athlete who's out of town a lot makes sense though.
  4. Cold open was not great for this viewer. It came across to me like something they had to put together at the last minute. Sixteen times. Wow. It probably doesn't really seem like the same show from the first time he hosted. So much has changed. Sarah Sherman's dad FTW. I wonder if he's also a performer? That snow sketch was the result of someone's coke-fueled fever dream, right? Sprinkles has legs! They must really like Brandi Carlile. I immediately remembered when she was the musical guest earlier this year, mainly from the two side guitarists who looked like twins. WU was not great either, IMO. Trying way too hard and a lot of strained laughter by the performers. Well, I did think it was cute to see Kieran Culkin and Selena Gomez pop in that last sketch. I knew she was too young to be Belinda but I googled her to see if they were related. The different spelling of Brandi's last name went right by me obv.
  5. Did young Rip lowkey shade Beth for being "familiar" with many of the cowhands, right in front of her father? Good on him. I guess I missed the reason why the ranch is so shorthanded. Were they suggesting it's due to the pandemic? "Hairy hippy giving syphilis to our sofa." Now there's a visual. Since when is Beth's attitude "you get what you give"? If that were true she'd be walking in a perpetual cloud of poison all the time. Bet Dutton's assistant Clara is reconsidering her career choices, ha ha. Whatever she's getting paid as a state employee can't be enough. I sure hope Summer doesn't suddenly "see the light" and decide to start eating meat. I think she's as much entitled to eat how she wants as the Duttons are. She could just dial back getting in their faces about it. (And Sheridan can miss me on subtly shaming people who were raised as vegetarian/vegan. It can be done safely for children and doesn't necessarily mean they were abused or neglected or malnourished.) In reference to Beth beating some manners into Summer, my favorite comment from reddit:
  6. My favorite White Lotus meme, courtesy of reddit:
  7. Sigh, yes, this is the rampant spumor and I hate it. IMO Chance is hotter than the surface of the sun. He could go in Glam Club every night of the week and slay the punani. So why would he get with his partner's widow, a thirsty cougar who's old enough to be his mommy? Plus, if Sharon's going to be providing him counseling, she'd be crossing an ethical line if she also slept with him. It's bad enough how much Sharon gossips about the people who confide in her via her coffee therapy. Re the mention of Nina upthread, it's odd to me how she and Jill are not read into what's going on with Chance. I definitely think Jill would show up at the mansion with a moving van and tell Abby to get to packing. Right after she chewed Abby up one side and down the other.
  8. Lol, those Sicilian women told the Di Grasso fellas to fuck off. If only the guys had bothered to learn some Italian instead of showing up like entitled Americans expecting everyone to understand English. So Valentina was basically a virgin. Didn't see that coming. Looks like Mia sleeps her away into a gig after all. Yeah, I think it looked bigger because he's not all that tall. But lowers your risk of contracting a gastrointestinal bug from the local cuisine. Probably not an issue in Hawaii though, and likely more of a potential problem for Americans.
  9. It still makes no sense to me how Chance is moving out of Chancellor Mansion and letting the adulteress stay there. IMO at the very least the writers could have him say he's only doing it because he wants to spare Dominic the disruption. Yadda, yadda, yadda, Nate. Sing a different tune. You betrayed your cousins because you're a egocentric prick, plain and simple. Interesting how gently Tucker is trying to steer Ashley away from Jeremy. Jeremy may be an international criminal but he ain't no snitch, lol! So did Diane give the feds info about Stark or not because now it's kind of sounding to me like she didn't. That'd be a odd lie for her to tell Jack and Kyle though. Jack, maybe the reason Jeremy wouldn't take your money is because he knows better than to make the mistake Ashland did with the Newmans. Huh, it hadn't occurred to me that part of Ashley's problem with Diane is Dina. Dina abandoned her kids but she never played dead. Abby, you can stuff your sorries in a sack, missy. Contact the feds? No. Go into WITSEC? No. Take Jack's money to pay Jeremy off? No. What the heck, Diane? Play on, playah. Tucker seemed to feel pretty good about the smooth rap he'd just laid on Ashley. Poor Imani, relegated to the trash heap of oddly disappeared YR characters. Diane is moving to the Abbott cabin. Hmmm, put on the Barry White music because I bet someone is going get seduced. But will it be Jack or Jeremy? Aw, geez, the C-W IPO again. That thing is like a corporate vampire. On the Erica Kane scale of soap opera slaps, where 1 is a love tap and 5 is a dislocated jaw, I'm gonna give Diane a 2.5. Wild and outside. False equivalence, Lily. Look into it. What Nate tried to do to you and Devon is not in the same league as what Devon and Abby did to Amanda and Chance. Gah. No wonder you keep putting up with Billy's nonsense.
  10. Now Sally, if you go to Society odds are good you'll run into Nick or Adam, if not both. Don't be trying act brand new. Oy, was that some kind of wild animal nesting on the back of Lauren's neck? Meanwhile, Michael has lost his cool ponytail. Darn. Wonder if Vikki got a tingle in her lady parts when she first saw Jeremy Stark? The guy who looks a lot like her late husband. Muscle memory, tee hee. 😏 Nick admitted he read Victor's dossier on Sally. What a jerk. I guess he's not going to be satisfied until Sally is groveling at his feet, begging for forgiveness for stuff that had nil to do with him. Aargh! And then Nick's spoiled brat Summer showed up looking like she just caught a whiff of some rancid peanut butter. Ehhh, Diane, you're not doing yourself any favors by insinuating to Phyllis that you literally spent the night with Jack. Stop poking the beast. Not that it's any of her business but I think Summer is probably right about Sally wrt her motives toward Nick. Mostly mercenary. Apparently the C-suite at Jabot has no security. Okay. Whee, Nick was bringing the receipts on Summer. And her psycho mommy. Yeah, Stuporgirl, your daddy is defending Sally so you better find a different lane. Jeremy getting shady right in Phyllis' face! 🤡🤡🤡🤡 I like the way this guy rolls. Why would Victor assign security to Harrison? Harrison is an Abbott. Meanwhile, he didn't mention Dominic, his actual biological grandson. Lauren extended an olive branch to Sally, who graciously accepted it. The spirit of the season! Wait, Jeremy the gangster is broke? Oh please, that is not believable to me. Guess this means Jack will be paying him off. Sigh.
  11. Mishael Morgan (Amanda/Hilary) guest-starred on Chicago Med last night. She played a surgeon and she looked great. It's an NBC show competing against Survivor on CBS so her episode likely didn't win the ratings battle.
  12. Why waste the Narcan on that idiot? Someone should check with the GC loony bin and see if they have a 2 for 1 special going for the holidays. Both Billy and Phyllis need to be put in straitjackets and padded cells AFAIC. Festivus for the rest of us! Emo boy Noah probably wouldn't be thrilled either. Yeah, Adam getting with Audra might give Sally something to think about. She's got that tight little body but Audra's got the huge rack. And Audra seems to be more of a player in the business world than Sally is. Adam could find her total package intriguing.
  13. Jack texts Mrs. Martinez to let her know Diane is spending the night. Mrs. Martinez reads the text and says under her breath, "!Mierda!" Harrison overhears her and yells, "Poop!" 🥳 I hope Diane isn't conning Jack but if she is she's sure delivering a full-bodied performance. SW is going to give MCE a run for the money in the Daytime Emmy race, I think. Even Audra knows who Jeremy Stark is. Hmmm. Red velvet cupcake. Yes. Red velvet cupcake with cappuccino. No. I would've gone with a vanilla latte but Lily likes to walk on the wild side I guess. 🤪 Sharon greeted Daniel warmly too, just like Nick did. That keeps surprising me. Really, Billy? You see Lily acting happy, calm, and unbothered with her old friend Daniel and you decide it's a good time to put her on defensive about Chelsea? Boy, bye. "Salud"? Did the writers acknowledge that Audra is indeed Latina/Hispanic via Tucker's drinking toast? Dang, Phyllis. Diane was acting insane? Pot, kettle, you rabid she-dog. "Better, stronger, brighter, deeper." Audra channeling the Six Million-Dollar Bionic Woman, but Noah looking at her like she's a $25 Bratz doll, lol. Who eats a cupcake with a fork? Lily, you are so bougie. Neil would be proud. Adam and a Billy in a manspreading contest. My eyes were twitching just watching that stupid macho ish. Well Adam certainly told Billy to step all the way off. Too bad being told about himself goes right over pinhead Billy's head. It would appear having Jack climb up her a$$ and open a flame-thrower was a delightful experience for Red. Next time Jack better bring a hand grenade or three. WHAT THE ACTUAL...Tucker and Audra about get it in? And wow, girlfriend is hella stacked. Whoo, chile.🤯
  14. Yeah, I like it too. I forgot that they were sort of buddies, otherwise I wouldn't have been pushing for Sally and Chance to have a fling. Chance is definitely not going to violate the bro code. No, you should not. If that woman shows up on Y&R, I'm out the same way I dropped B&B last year because of her. Both the character and the actress are a line in the sand for me.
  15. Nick is not out here trying to act like his feelings are hurt because Sally just slept with Adam. Please, you willingly chose to take Adam's sloppy seconds, Nicholas. Repeatedly. Wow, guess Billy is unofficially "dating" Chelsea now. I can't with this guy. 🙄 Anyone with certain tech skills could spoof a text. How do Diane and Jack know it was actually from Jeremy and not someone trying to scare Diane? O hai Phyllis. Chance in a nightclub. Okay, I'm gonna need him to hit the dance floor at some point. No way was he sitting there looking so fine and the women weren't throwing themselves at him. Show, are you trying to make me hate Sally? IMO she does not need to keep explaining her behavior and decisions wrt Adam to Nick. Sally is a grown a$$, independent woman. Nick is not her daddy and he's not paying her bills. She owes him nothing and is just looking more and more pathetic IMO. I see you, Chelsea, still using Connor to play Billy and Adam against each other, and acting all giggly and lowkey flirtatious. Ugh. Of course Diane spent the dirty cash she stole from Jeremy. And of course Jack the white knight offered to give her more money so she could repay Stark. Allegedly. I think this smells like a con. The new question is, is Jeremy in on it? Finally. Diane is about to move back into the Abbott manse, at Jack's insistence. It took her a few months but mission accomplished! Um, all I'm going to say is I know, um, someone who did this back in the day when they were Sally's age. They considered it a power move of sorts, kind of like having the final word in a situation that's basically over anyway. 😉 Yeah, but instead I'd have it turn out both babies were Adam's. Twin girls.
  16. Forced perspective FTW. This can't be the end of Avenue 5. Season 3! Season 3!
  17. "It's only a scheme if you're at the bottom of the pyramid." Facts. Yeah, food poisoning is no joke. But geez, Janine should've known better. Tasha = carpetbagger. I liked that Jazmine Sullivan song Ava played for the kids. Not really age-appropriate though, lol. Janine high AF. But all that different stuff she was taking to "cure" herself probably wasn't sitting well in her stomach. Oy. Good lord, what was in those ice packs Ava was selling, snake venom? Jacob looked like he'd gotten bitten in the face. I'm surprised they still teach kids the days of the week and how to tell time on a regular clock. Most of them likely do (or will) use their cell phones or tablets to check the date and time. Sadly, a lot of people today consider wearing watches the equivalent of riding in horse-drawn carriages. Ava might be the best-dressed sitcom character on TV right now. I would wear most of the outfits she's had on this season.
  18. Hee, that feeling is spreading. On another soap forum the posters are so upset about this latest turn of events with Sally and Adam that they've been saying Adam must be really bad in bed or he has a tiny peen. Lol, somehow I doubt either of those is what the writers were going for.
  19. Good grief, Summer and her both sides b.s. When has Phyllis ever deserved the benefit of the doubt? Sally: sigh, Adam. Okay, I'll screw you this one last time. Chance: with all due respect, Sharon, mind your own business. I'm just here for my morning java fix. Jeremy: hi, Diane the snitch! Didja miss me while I was in prison? Phyllis: whew, there's nothing like sending a gangster after your son-in-law's mommy that can really rev up a girl's appetite! Who's up for lunch? I'll treat. Devon: Here, let me flash my hideous tats in front of my young, impressionable son. Dominic: You guys got any better toys for me? This stuff is crap. So, Grandpa Tucker, what's this cologne you're wearing? My other grandpa smells like chalk and Mentholatum. Jack: Calm down, Diane. We don't know for sure Ashley was in on sending Jeremy here to my house. We Abbotts are above petty revenge. Joi: Are you tho? Phyllis: I'm on top of the world, Nick! Look at meeee!!! And look at our gullible daughter! Boy do I have her snowed! Adam; as mercy fcuks go, this wasn't so bad. Right, Sally? Please agree with me. Please. Sally: Adam, you're rich. FGS buy a clue. It's OVER! The cooch is closed for you! Forever! Adam: But Sally, my heart is big. Sally: ehhh. Wrong organ. Sharon: nope, Chance, I'm gonna stay in your face because I recognize no boundaries. Now, what about that Dominic? Is he a little scamp or what? Tucker: Abby, how about we follow Dom's lead here? He clearly adores me and won't be aiming any cars in my direction anytime soon. Bygones! Diane: you b!tch! Try again, Phyllis! Elton said it best: I'm still standing! Well, Abby, maybe you should've thought about Dominic's lineage but you accepted Devon as your sperm donor. Sally, you better be using at least kinds of contraceptives because if you end up pregnant after you've slept with Nick and Adam within days of each other? Kill. Me. Now. Sharon sure is staying on Chance. Why is she so up in his business? He didn't ask for her advice about anything. Phyllis is the master of the smirk that says "Sssssomebody slap me!" For the man who claims to know everything, Victor was 100% wrong about Abby and Chance. Lucky for him Sharon has appointed herself GC's Dispenser of All Gossip. Shut up, Summer. You were born a fool. Don't blame that on your mommy. "I guess this is bad time," Heh, Nick's got jokes. TMW you go looking for a possible nooner and you catch your paramour being the messiest of messy heaux. Pshht. I'm thinking Jeremy could snap Kyle like a twig. Calm down, bouffant boy. Wait, what? Is Talia the reporter in cahoots with Jeremy? Ow, my head hurts.
  20. Portia cleaned up nicely. I liked her sundress, though not with the sneakers. It seems to me like she tries to look like she got dressed in the dark. Escorts? Nah, those two are straight up hoes. I feel like escorts would be better at their jobs. 😏 The Queen of Sicily. Surely Tanya's not that stupid. Mia put a move on Valentina. Have to admire her resourcefulness. And Valentina was a bit unnerved by it, like she didn't realize how much she wanted some intimacy, just not from a young hooker. Albie has a nice butt. Not sure I understand why this is considered a problem. People engage with fiction in different ways, and some people enjoy varying degrees of speculation and fantasizing. What's the harm?
  21. Really liked that Sade song at the top of the episode. They must have filmed these last few episodes out of order. Blue looked younger and shorter to me. Jacob Boudreaux. Okay. Hey, it's Remy. They're really bringing back all the old familiar faces. Glynn Turman too. Gosh. I was so happy for Vi and Hollywood and the little foster girl. Nova stays winning. Ugh. Well, it's been quite a run. Brava, Queen Sugar. (I'm not crying, you're crying!😥)
  22. Apparently Black twitter is clowning TJ hard over his real name. Ordinarily I'd be against going after someone on something they had no control over but in this particular case, pile on.
  23. Sorry but I didn't need to see Keke's baby belly, repeatedly. Congrats to her but I don't want to see that on SNL. The Dynasty take-off was hilarious. Keke's character said her mouth is "exit only"? Whaaat? The Big Boys song and video were funny, especially the visual shade they threw at The Worst Chris. Shoaties. But geez, that was a long way to go for Keke to be able to say she wasn't Drake's Keke. I enjoyed Michael Longfellow's bit during WU. The kid's got some comedy swagger. Did we know before now that Keke could sing? Keke used to be a co-host on GMA3 so I was hoping SNL would do something with the scandal that's erupted over there with the adulterous co-hosts. Guess not. Not a bad episode, IMO. Keke brought a lot of energy. I also liked both of the songs SZA performed, though I'm curious why she went all Billie Eilish in those baggy clothes.
  24. I got the impression Tucker had that article planted in the GC online newspaper specifically so he could show it to Ashley and act like he was doing her a favor. Then Ashley shared it with the rest of the coven. He probably tapped an off-shore account that the feds didn't know about. Or he had someone do it for him. I've watched enough gangster TV shows to know people like him try to have money stashed in several places around the world in case they need to disappear quickly and don't want to leave a money trail. (BTW, in the US, Stark hasn't been seen anywhere other than at the Abbott's front door. )
  25. The weeks of build-up for this Jeremy Stark guy is reminiscent to me of what happened with Ashland Locke. And boy did the Locke Ness monster fizzle out, in service of the all-powerful Newmans. Am prepared to be disappointed with Stark. Nick just drops by Sally's hotel room for some impromptu afternoon delight. Ugh. At least have the decency to contact her first, you presumptuous hound dog. Sally's pretty stressed out. Maybe she should try working in a quieter, less busy place than Society, say the GC Public Library? I doubt either Nick or Adam would track her down there. My, what big hands you have, Adam. How you doin'? 😉 Heh, Sally, I see you and what you think you're going to achieve by inviting Adam back to your room to hash things out once and for all. Maybe Nick will stop by again and you can save time by suggesting a three-way. I'm with Victor. This Adam/Sally/Nick triangular situation is probably going nowhere good. Looks like a WTD? nightmare waiting to happen. It was adorable to me the way little cutie Dominic grinned at his grandpa. Bow down, Tucker, to the future ruler of all the GC families...who hate you. At what point do Ashley and Nikki realize the bigger danger to them is Phyllis? AFAIC that psycho needs to be 5150'd the same way Chelsea was. OMG, Phyllis, do you really think everyone is intimidated by your cleavage? Stop waving that shite around in people's faces. I'm surprised Diane didn't laugh at it. Victor has a dossier on Sally. Please. What Sally did in L.A. is pretty much public knowledge at this point. Who cares? Lawd, I am swooning. But have CH and MG broken up, because I didn't the writers would let Sally and Adam be together while the IRL thing was going on. Tee hee, already Dom is more verbose than his cousin Harrison. Per the closed- captioning he spoke three words today. Finally. But geez, for a hot second I thought it was the OG Ashland who Diane answered the door for. Can't wait until Nick sees Jeremy and catches a bit of deja vu. Yes, in all likelihood. A Joi can dream be hepped on the goofballs though, no? 🥴
