  1. To ease the pain, I'll touch on something shallow: So, in the next version of the Black Canary costume, I hope they incorporate the fishnets that is one of the defining features.
  2. I'm like only halfway invested in this show, but even I'm upset with killing off Sara. Same thing happened when they killed off (in a horrific manner) the female love interest on Prison Break. The producers were bragging about how they killed her "awesomely", while being completely tone-deaf to how much the character was liked. (They eventually backtracked and brought back the character.) Do TPTB really not realize no one wants to see great character horribly murdered?? It's ridiculous. They brought in this awesome, heroic (well, she worked with the good guys) character that was well-recieved; she wasn't even around that long, and they kill her off. This also reminds of Person of Interest, in which they killed off a female character who got replaced by another. At least Carter had an exit arc and went out like a Boss.

  4. From TVLine's Ask Ausiello: Love interest?? Nooooooooooo!
  5. Give Callen a first name. I know they've slowly revealed info about his past over the years, but it's Season 6 now; it's about time. Cut Deeks' hair. Give Eric more to do, and/or get him out the office more. He's one of my favorites, but he hardly gets to do anything. Stop with the flirting/whatever stuff between Nell and Eric. I get enough of that crap with Kensi and Deeks. Please vary the characters' clothes. I don't understand why they're always wearing the same things (just in different colors). Seriously, what does the 'G' stand for?!
  6. Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Chris O'Donnell with that much hair AND a beard! I wonder if there's a plot reason for that. (Um, if there is, don't spoil!) Sam is Callen's dog (dawg?)-- hee! Didn't realize this was going to be a two-parter; seems kind of early in the season for that.

  8. Well, I hope that apartment set isn't going to be the only place we see Barb. So she's hiding a drug habit and a lesbian relationship. I do like that she's Jim's sounding board; I hope she gets more to do eventually.
  9. Is Oswald going to murder several people every episode? Because I'm already tired of that. Surprised he made himself known so soon.(This is more about the writing than the character.) There are too many regulars. They're going to have to decide that not everyone has to be in every episode. More thoughts later.

  12. Richard Kind has been in a ton of things, but I know him mainly from Spin City, so it's amusing to me that he managed to get "promoted" from working for the Mayor to being the Mayor.
  13. "I preceded to exit..."
  14. I'm really behind on seeing the animated movies, but I did see this one, and I remember thinking "Wow, this is really good -- this should be like, a real [live-action] movie!" One thing I remember is that I liked the idea that Bruce Wayne had a chance to go down a different path and have another (happy?) life.
  15. No; when Gordon asks if Bruce is getting therapy, Alfred says the Waynes had specific instructions on how to raise him. And he mentions "no psychiatrists" and (Bruce) choosing his own path.
  16. I started a drinking game thread for all our favorite (or most hated) JJ clichés!
  17. Take a drink everytime someone takes... a drink.
  18. What? They're really good blenders. Of course, not everyone needs a $600 blender.
  19. From the Episode 2 thread: I figure as long as the show avoids any direct reference to things from the 2000's and beyond, it should keep that feeling of 'vaguely in the past, yet kind of in the present'. I mean, Batman's age is usually mid-thirties, and Bruce is twelve in Gotham, so let's say, the show is set 20 years in the "past". In 1994, we had cell phones and the internet, for instance. I choose to look at the show as set in the present; but if anyone sees it as set in the past, that works, too. So far, they've been good about not doing anything to specifically date the show. However, the 1980's police cars is one thing that has bugged me.
  20. Answering in the Other Versions of Batman thread.
  21. Just a reminder that Fox is re-airing episodes on Fridays at 9pm.
  22. I couldn't tell you any details, but I remember watching the original Flash series as a kid. I like Grant and how he's playing Barry Allen from what I've seen on Arrow. Looks like they're going all out with the superhero stuff (costumes, effects, etc.) and I hope it lives up to the hype.

  24. I been trying to figure out who this actor reminds me of, and I finally realized, he kinda looks like a muppet.
  25. I can't recall a time in my life where I've sat on the hood of a car. Leaned against the side, yes; but taking a seat on the hood? No.
