LOL -- I see they're leaning into the CW.

Started Season 4; up to episode 4, when Lois & Clark FINALLY have a moment's peace and get to have the honeymoon everyone had been waiting for since at least Season 2! They were just really adorable. Did the writers/producers ever explain that weird angel(?) wedding?? Sweet, but weird. And I can't believe they invented a villain specifically to ruin their wedding! Cool to see Delta Burke, though. And the episode after was another stall, but at least we got to see HG Wells again, and L&C in some period costumes. --- Also decided to re-watch the pilot; Wow, I didn't realize that "Cool costume -- Thanks my mom made it" (not verbatim) actually originated from this show! Nice. I'll probably try to re-watch Season 1 after I finish Season 4.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense for everyone in the restaurant to follow along; but I think that was a 'breaking the fourth wall' and/or audience participation moment for the movie audience.

Despite Colter not being in law enforcement, and doing things mostly for the money, they still really want this to be a Cop Show, apparently. Guess this was the 'halloween' episode. Not my thing, but it was cool to have Colter unfazed by all the 'spookiness'. It was also amusing to recognize some set locations from various Vancouver-based CW shows! Just me, or was that kidnapper's basement huge?

Fashion highlights: Robyn's patterned bomber jacket; and Mel's whole outfit. I've said before that I don't really buy Mel and Harry as a couple, but they were cute this episode. And I wasn't thinking that they might be foreshadowing something with Mel, but I can see that, now that you mention it. :( I suppose the B-plot with Dee probably would have ended badly in any case, but I don't like how it kinda put Vi in a bad light. Years of procedurals made me suspicious of The Wife from the start, but her also being a secret Chinese spy was just too much; and I was not impressed by her supposed heroic sacrifice at the end. (And yeah, only one dose of the antidote was silly.) Literally no one cares about Robyn's ex. They have got to be kidding me - teasing a triangle when Robyn and Dante have yet to even go on the most casual of first dates! (4 seasons in!!) I do not want to accept that this relationship will just be a perpetual tease! I swear, if I don't get some payoff....

Joe-El says "There's another like you[Clark]" -- a popular guess is Supergirl/Kara; but I don't think that's a character that they would introduce in a young Superman show. He probably referring to the Kryptonian(?) villain(?) introduced at the end of the first season.

There's nothing like a surprise visit from relatives who will definitely gossip to all your cousins about your slovenly ways to motivate one (me) to finally clear out a few more clutter piles! So yay! more progress on the messy room front.

So Camden, but Maine; okay you got me, show. So this one we had CSI/Equalizer Colter, because we're back to murders after that one-episode break. It's just disappointing that this is stuck in the CBS formula, I was hoping for more. I've got pretty much the same complaints that everyone else already mentioned; but I'll add -- did the father of the bride actually stuff an envelope with cash to pay Colter?? I mean -- if they had more of this, maybe I could overlook some issues with the show... 😉

Wow, what was up with everyone breaking tonight?? I mean sometimes it's great, but it happened A LOT.

I feel like this is the type of movie that doesn't need a big twist. They're both famous bad guys; either of them using/abusing/turning against the the other wouldn't be surprising, however they do it. Harley being an inmate to start seems to be a narrative shortcut.

Finished Season 3; and I'd say there were more highs than lows, but the lows were really low! The entire amnesia plot was terrible. What was up with that doctor that was trying to steal Lois from Clark?? Also it was clones, amnesia, and then New Krypton back to back. Maybe it would have been more tolerable if they'd skipped the amnesia plot. So actually, maybe I'd put it in the top five of ship stalls. ----- On to Season 4; I know I watched it in the 90s, but this season I remember the least. ----- As a related aside: I recommend My Adventures with Superman for anyone craving some Lois and Clark relationship adorableness. It's a new take on the Superman story, focused on the relationships between the young Clark, Lois, and Jimmy.

I think I'm done here, guys. I'm not mad, just tired. I'll probably keep up with comments here, and recaps (if I can find any), but watching is not a priority. And again, I wish they'd caption all the Spanish dialog.
