  1. Catriona looks like she's in a Latin dance competition. When she turns around I expect to see a number pinned to her back.
  2. Meri's mom? So was Annie's involvement faked, or did plans change? Hmmmm. "Landes, whose term ended with the new year, said his town needs lodging." The building ALREADY WAS lodging!
  3. Many thanks to @Athena and all who made the request! This thread is my favorite guilty pleasure every two years, going all the way back to TWoP days.
  4. I had no idea there was such a thing! Thanks for the review, @Miss Chevious!
  5. For some reason I found this episode much more engaging and enjoyable than the last string of recent eps. Alfred was awesome, the voice of Athelstan/Louis XIV was touching, and finally there's a glimmer of hope that useless Margrethe is on her way out. My only nit-pick is that I would have built my Icelandic hut a little farther away from the geysir. When the wind blows the spray they're going to be soaked!
  6. Thanks, @Kohola3, and happy to assist. For some reason I think I'll be addicted to this motley crew until the bitter end. I'm glad to help others so that my brain cells don't die in vain.
  7. Ok, those of you who wanted more, grab your alcohol and/or barf bags! And that, folks, is where the episode ends. Did I earn my own celestial planet by taking one for the team?
  8. For some reason he reminded me of Robin Thicke. Yes! What was that? A Napoleon impression?
  9. @MissBluxom, could it have been Alan Ladd and The Blue Dahlia?
  10. Very sad. I still listen to her music with Louis Prima quite often. RIP, ma'am.
  11. FWIW, The Iron County property records that I mentioned a page or so back referred solely to Meri Brown, "an unmarried woman." Kody's name did not appear on the documents and does not come up in a separate search.
  12. The hand poking out of the crotch seam is a klassy touch.
  13. If y'all will excuse me, I need to go watch Andre's opening number on repeat.
  14. If I'm understanding the property records correctly, she signed the mortgage papers on 10/17/17, so it must have just recently worked out. That's pretty good work to get the B&B set up and opened within 2 months. (And yikes, another mortgage?!) Oops, after further research it looks like the house was already a B&B.
  15. Me too, but I think I'm out. I would watch the heck out of "The Trudy and Flo Mysteries," but I just can't warm up to Frankie herself.
  16. I can't stand either one of them as people, but I always enjoy the show's brief forays into The Surreal Life with David and Wallis. Please forgive me.
  17. Add my voice to the, "Hey, Yara Greyjoy!" chorus. It was fun to see Martin and Tommy in a scene together so soon after the actors played very different characters in Versailles.
  18. Everything except offering a service that consumers actually want! You guys have nailed it. If someone snarfs down an entire row of Double Stuf Oreos* and then wants to pay a Z-list celebrity for a lethargic cyber pat on the hand, Janelle's their woman. However, if a person wants real nutritional guidance, an exercise plan, coping strategies, meal planning lists, etc., she's about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Even considering the validation-seekers and sycophants, my guess is that the number of folks willing to actually shell out money for Janelle's "services" is pretty small. *I may or may not have done this last week.
  19. This show can certainly be counted upon for staggeringly beautiful location shots. And oh hi, Mr. Wickham! You got old!
  20. Two of my all-time favorite quotes are from very minor characters, and their episodes were on back-to-back today. It's all in the delivery. Regine's mom: "Oh that'll teach you to leave me alone on a beach." Delia: "Thank. You. GOD. For letting me, DELIA, bringthesepeopletogether!"
  21. But remember, these people will swear up one side and down the other that the legal marriage and paperwork mean nothing; that the religious union is what matters and that the wife who is legally married is no more important or special than the wives that had spiritual marriages only. The legal distinction is almost beneath their notice, and would certainly never be celebrated with a second honeymoon or anything. Oh, wait...
