  1. Has Chad always been this pushy with Abigail? Dude, read the room. She doesn't want you to go with her for good reason, and nagging your mentally ill wife isn't a good look.
  2. "Because I don't like you!" Oh Dr. Rolf, you had me rolling at that line delivery. Gabi is a moron, and if she took half a second before impulsively acting on her every whim, she would have realized she was getting played. While Brady also fits "moron" status on most occasions, I did think Victor needed to hear what Brady had to say. Unfortunately I don't think much of it sunk in.
  3. I missed the previous incarnations of Orpheus (to me he's a new character), but I am just not buying him as this uber scary bad guy. He walks into someone's office and is all, "hey I kidnapped your husband, give me money" and walks out - and Marlena doesn't think to yell out to the dozens of people in the hallway to stop him? Even if he had a weapon, he could probably be overpowered. I'm just tired of John and Marlena always!being!in!danger! Especially by a guy who looks like he might try to bum a cigarette off you outside 7-11.
  4. As the character of Dr. Rolf is already so over the top, it gives me glee how to he rrrrrrrrrolls everrrrrrrrry rrrrrrrrrr each chance he gets.
  5. So Adrienne being alive is how we end up with Steve and Kayla back together, I guess?
  6. Perhaps isolation is getting to me, but I thought Kristen was pretty even-keeled, I mean, grading on the curve of Kristen. I don't argue with Sarah's remarks of "you're a psychopath therefore you shouldn't have access to children", but the incessant "you're not her mother" was really grinding my last nerve. (And I've mentioned that before.) Sarah was caught up in the emotion of it all, but she didn't really snap and lose her mind. So for her to repeatedly insist she was Micky-Rachel's mother was a bit over the top. Also, I only caught a glimpse of it in the background of one shot, but the signage indicating "plate-formes" was correct. So, they get that, but can't swap out a sign that is so obviously wrong and in the forefront of most shots? Oy, show.
  7. Was the "WE GOT HIM" text in relation to the Chief then? I assumed it was about nailing Steve (after Judy gave them the phones and USBs), but perhaps I was wrong in that?
  8. Thank you. I saw this too and figured it was a poor oversight on the part of the props department.
  9. I thought when Rex first ran into Sarah at the café he mentioned something about Mimi at home with the daughter? (Not sure if it's hers or not.)
  10. I've certainly seen parents speaking to an infant, but for only a few seconds, like "Oh silly, you dropped your sock!" Not having an hour-long conversation with them. I realize that it's a set up so that Kristen can take back her rightfully deserved baby (/sarcasm), but at least Sarah seems to be coming out of the delirium that she's the biological mother of this child. It was getting really tedious.
  11. Why was Ciara dressed like Madonna circa Like A Virgin? Why does she think she's so tough? I did legit laugh at Kyle Lowder's delivery of a few lines, including "of course you are" in response to Kristen being somewhat flip about "being wanted for attempted murder". I cannot believe that this show believes viewers want her to end up with the baby. I hand wave a lot of stuff when it comes to this show, but even the characters themselves make repeated references to Kristen's anger issues.
  12. If I were Jake, I'd be high tailin' it out of Salem as fast I could. If he has no recollection of possibly being Stefan, he's got to think these people are certifiable. Just look at the high crime rate of the town square! I'm not enjoying the Jabi/Stabi scenes quite as much as most because I find Camilla Banus incredibly difficult to watch as an actress. When she goes into hyper-drive dramatics her weaknesses are even more noticeable. YMMV, as they say.
  13. Forgive me, as I only recently started watching again, so I missed the whole Orpheus-gets-immunity portion (and lead up including Jordan's murder). If there is a legit confession on file (immunity be damned) about Jordan's murder, how is someone else on trial for it? I realize the simple answer is "Salem".
  14. Yes. Because he didn't like her. You know, that 'ol clear cut open and close case prosecution.
  15. In the original run and even in the Roseanne reboot itself, I felt like Bev was written as her usual annoying, somewhat cranky self. In the past few times she's been on The Conners, I feel as though she's been written as downright mean and spiteful. Not enjoying the shift. I think Dan's reluctance at returning to the dating world, and his entire storyline involing Louise has been very realistic. I just wish they had more discussion between Becky and Dan on moving on from grief.
  16. I thought a few episodes ago Louise mentioned she got promoted because she threatened to sue him, or something?
  17. I was wondering if Louise might play a role in the future. She's the manager at the Casita Bonita, right? Although I would love Martin Mull/Leon to return.
  18. I've found Jackie to be utter insufferable lately, so I enjoyed Darlene's take down of her. Jackie has never had her life together, and seems to just expect everyone to hand her things. But I did like the line of "You're not the mother of this family", as it indicates Jackie is still not handling Roseanne's death well and I think that's a very realistic portrayal. I can't say I'm pleased they ended up with the Lunchbox, because it was clearly shown in a previous episode they weren't ready. Katie Segal was wonderful. As was Dan's shock at bringing booze back to the garage.
  19. It airs in Canada on Mondays.
  20. The plan all along, before S1E1 aired, was to be 4 seasons. They've had this show beginning to end plotted out since the start.
  21. He met with Chidi, told him he got a B+ in ethics at Princeton, asked Chidi if he knew he went to Princeton, said he went to Princeton, and then left.
  22. I hope you wrote this while munching on an assortment of Clif Bars.
  23. I know teams tend to quiz each other after each leg and write down what they believe will be pertinent details later, but I'm not sure "how many ingredients in a Nanaimo Bar" would be one of them!
  24. Really pleased with the result. That was the order I had hoped for the finish. It did seem like Sarah and Sam did really catch up at the candy cane task and the irrigation system. Unlike other finishes where it'd edited to look like it's close but it's clearly not, this one seemed like it really was. That added a nice layer of tension.
  25. My initial thought was the guy was an undercover cop, but once the deed was actually done, I figured otherwise since I'm pretty sure even in TV land that's crossing an ethical line for police.
