Ciara: sex is the answer to everything! How was Vincent to know it would be Ben that would answer the door? Also, with the nightly room rate, why don't those two just move into a place of their own? (Yes I realize that would mean the show would actually have to dress a set.) Why did Sonny and Will just assume Gabi would be totally fine with her daughter moving with them to a different state? Has it ever been explained why Ari lives with them rather than Gabi? Or are we to assume they actually have shared custody that we just never see?

Sami does not think to call 911 when someone collapses and isn't breathing, doesn't start any kind of resuscitation efforts. and has to be told to dial 911. Sure, she should totally be the caretaker for a newborn.

"Allie is a CHILD!" NO SHE IS NOT. While she's written to act like a petulant 12 year old, she is actually 21-22 years old. Sami just refuses to understand that her only motivation in getting the baby is to stick it to Nicole. I get it. Nicole has done horrible things to Sami and her family - but Sami isn't going to win a fight bleeting on about just that and not providing any concrete evidence as to why she's the best caretaker. If Lani is this antsy regarding her unborn babies, she is going to be the worst helicopter mom ever.

I figure they are "proof" that the team completed the required parts of the leg. They do show them to someone at the appropriate checkpoint. Other than that, a cool keepsake, I suppose.

Sami and Allie are exactly the same - albeit with a focus on a different person. Allie: my mother has ruined my life and is responsible for all the bad things including climate change and COVID! Sami: Nicole has ruined my life and is responsible for all the bad things including famine and disease! I can only imagine the custody hearing, with Sami bulldozing her way over the judge and everyone else in the room. Good luck encouraging Sami to have a civilized conversation. The hair salon in Salem must have been busy "overnight" with both Gabi and Ciara running in for cuts! NuClaire was better today. Although I feel like OriginalRecipeClaire would have done a better (read: high strung) version of "everything is fine, no problems at Eric's, nothing to see here..." And why did she whiplash so fast from that to admitting that Allie ran away (assuming Marlena didn't know). Also, "Dr. Marlena"? Really Ciara.

My Will! Your ability to grow a full beard overnight is so impressive! NuClaire is fine. She's nowhere near as high strung as OldClaire though, and definitely seems to be playing older - which is jarring against Allie, who we have discussed many times, plays much younger than her supposed 21-22 year age. I'm just tired of this baby adoption storyline. So Allie just abandons her baby and... runs back to the place she's living? The place where everyone knows she's living? Does she expect Eric and Nicole to come home with the baby (as IF the hospital would just let them waltz out - oh wait, I forgot this was Salem U Hospital), and give her a thank you card or something and then send her on her merry way?

Yes Allie, Sonny ran off to Justin to have papers drawn up for the purpose of adopting your child, but it was really all a ploy by the Evil!Will! to eventually hand over the baby to Sami. Because Sami has totally indicated she wants to raise her grandchild. Every time she said "I wish you'd keep your child", it was obviously brainwashing to get you to hand over the child to Will, who hands it over to Sami. /sarcasm

While I don't disagree with your comment at all, I think it was Linnet who actually cut her off? I remember a woman quite curtly saying "You've had your turn!"

I've noticed this for a while, but I find it a hilarious acting choice that Ciara always grabs Ben's throat when she's comforting him.

*post hospital argument* Sonny, in his closet: Was this dark blue sport coat the right one to properly take Sami to task? Perhaps a more muted green would have been better? The right sport coat really brings out the non-nonsensical arguments and makes them pop!

I took Rafe's line to be a joke. But given the general ethics of the Salem PD, who actually knows. Given that Salem U Hospital has exactly 3 rooms, I am not surprised the maternity ward is in the lobby.

What was Ciara wearing? Do the wardrobe people hate her or something? Claire's outfit was next in line in its hideousness, but at least her wardrobe doesn't * ahem * always accentuate certain features. I love Vincent. And I love how Eve apparently can just sneak into Ciara/Ben's hotel room (seriously you two, get your own damn place) and steal her wedding gown.

I'm in the minority with disliking Tara too. During the farm episode, she refused to be the team lead, then decided to take over, and then got upset when she was blamed for their loss. This episode, it seems that when she was trying to give input, she was doing so by interrupting (at least during the initial planning). I do agree that she was ignored when giving directions though. That whole team has massive communication issues. Also, add me to the list of people who totally thought Phil was going to start the next competition "RIGHT NOW!"

Is this relatively new? I swear I remember them being compatible back in the day (pre-Will's death).
