Re #2: He'll probably get Claire involved and have her explain how she was there on Christmas (Christmas Eve?) and she didn't see anyone gagged and bound to any chair in his living room! And knowing the Salem PD, this will be all the defense he needs.

I realize Salem U Hospital is possibly even worse than whatever the hospital is called on Grey's Anatomy, but newborns wear alarmed bracelets, and they will trigger if carried past a physical line on the floor of the maternity wing. You don't just "match" the name and let them go. Even if you're (supposedly) a doctor. On a superficial note, I like what they've done with Nadja's hair. The mix of tones looks really nice.

While in reality, it's a huge leap of connection logic for John to make, I am genuinely thrilled that this Charlie/Tripp/Ava/Allie mess will finally start to be solved. It's telling how bad the writing is when you're actively rolling your eyes at the rape victim and her smugness each time she encounters who she believes is her attacker. I realize it's PLOT!, but if I were Tripp, if I saw Allie even 100 feet away I'd keep moving in the opposite direction and never, ever engage with her.

Didn't she sleep with Chad about 5 seconds ago? There is no way she'd know she's pregnant already, unless knowingly already pregnant by someone else.

I agree, with the exception of Claire/Allie. Again, we're supposed to believe Allie is in her early 20s. The way she and Claire speak it's like two teenagers gossiping about the cute boy in biology. BF stepped it up though today, and I thought MM played it well with a mixture of trying to calm down Chad and getting more and more exasperated and angry (at Gwen) with each passing moment.

I loved it. Absolutely loved it. Is it without its problems or potential plot holes? Of course not. But IMHO, it was fantastic and I immediately wanted season 4. Some of the lines were golden, including: I thought you were the bully?! (random guy) I don't understand why everyone in the Valley is so big on karate. (Councilwom - uh - person) So your wang can still get the tang! (Johnny) My one main issue is Tory. The way she is presented, her entire MO is that she doesn't like Sam because, reasons? Because Sam is wealthier than her? Because Sam and her dated the same guy? Good luck in life Tory, if you're always going to be pissed off because someone has it better than you. Of all the Cobras, she's the one I would actually be concerned about - she needs professional help for her anger. And not the kind karate can bring you.

Man, Chad really is an a-hole, eh? I don't care how much you believe your wife is cheating on you, accusing someone of faking a mental illness is beyond low. Plus, if this was all a ruse to cheat on him with Jake - she's really been working the long con - since she's been dealing with the illness for years longer than anyone knew Jake existed. (I know, logic in Salem is about as common as a bra on Gabi.) I'm glad we're finally starting to see movement in the Gwen story. Anna takes the MENSA crown from Abigail today for deducing that Gwen isn't all sugar and puppies.

FINALLY Charlie is revealed as the rapist! FIN.A.LLY. I'm all here for that. Not here at all for Kristin having a screaming fit at Statesville because Brady dared to not sit at home and mope over her on NYE.

I will check in after watching later today, but I wanted to send my best wishes for 2021 to the wonderful folks on this forum. Working from home has provided the benefit of getting to watch the show almost daily, and then checking in here with you guys for a lot of laughs. Do we think the Gwen-hates-Abigail story was invited after Gwen came on scene? The entire arc seems to have been tossed in, and I swear they're still making it up as they go - hence why we don't yet have a solid reason for her hatred.

Again, things that could be cleared up if two people had a simple conversation. I guess she's banking on "he said/she said" in case that does happen. She's planted enough doubt in Chad's head that he's unlikely to believe Abigail, let alone Jake. I would feel sorry for Chad if he wasn't such a numbskull in falling for Gwen's schemes. But I do feel sorry for the entire township of Salem. Clearly they need to check the water, because they've all be poisoned with acute dumbness.

He looks like he lives in an industrial-style place, which are usually converted warehouses. I knew a couple that lived in one, and the floors and walls were super thick. They could throw a rager of a party and no neighbours would be aware unless invited. But, let's not forget that Claire could easily be heard and she nattered on through the door, but sound apparently only goes one one in this place. Ava would never be heard if she yelled.

Even if you come to town as an alien in a pod, there's a good chance you'll end up being related to half the town. (SEE: Cassie and Rex). I like Kate (I've always liked her, mainly due to LK's acting), and she could easily have a mature conversation with Chad regarding her side of the story, regardless of her supposed "betrayal" by sleeping with Jake. So I wish she would just shut him up already. Hopefully we won't too long before Abigail blurts it out. (Someone just get her some champers!)

Well, let's sign up Abigail for MENSA, since she is the only person who can put two and two together. (A guy who lives at the mansion whose name starts with J but isn't Jack? It must be Harold.) Gwen's scheming is fun, but all her lies would be easily debunked if two people had a simple conversation with each other. "She told me you said X." "She told me you said Y." I hope we find out the real reasoning behind her hatred of Abigail/Devereaux family soon. Otherwise this just becomes tedious. Also Sarah, your pretend fight with Xander goes much smoother if you don't routinely defend him to already suspicious people.

My husband walked into the room, and immediately said that that was all he could hear. Two days of Lani in a row. A Christmas miracle would be for her to go off and be a mother somewhere off screen for a long, long time. I'm so happy that she's forgiven her husband for doing his job. How sweet.
