Vivian always has been one of my favourite characters. I once spent an entire dinner out with my mother explaining "Vivian has Carley buried alive in a coffin", and to this day she still asks about it.

John Aniston's delivery of the line, "Maybe it was Vivian Alamain, showing up. Naked. And I decided to knife myself." was absolutely perfection. This show usually makes me roll my eyes so hard that I strain them (yet I still watch), but that line delivery absolutely cracked me up. -

I'm surprised she didn't call up Kate and ask that Jake (the alleged murderer in her theory) get the keys to the city. -

Oh God. If this leads to a leaked sex tape I'm out. -

Today's entire episode was an exercise in resistance - from throwing things at my TV. Will - jokes about Ben killing him, and it's water under the bridge about his actual killing of him. Ciara - doesn't trust Claire, who has spent 99% more time seeking help from a mental health facility than the guy she is marrying, who is a "reformed" serial killer. Sarah - no, Xander totes won't believe us if we just lie about sleeping together. In order to really get our revenge, my vagina must be used! Lani & Eli - can't solve the case because we're using facts! It has nothing to do with the fact that we absolutely suck at our jobs. (Also, can't Cop #4 in the background handle the missing Gabi case so Lani doesn't have to like, break a sweat?) -

He attended the proceedings. They talk about how he was away from his phone all day/Hope testified in his defence, etc. It sounds like they just had the judge call the lawyers or something with the results. Or only had the lawyers present. Which really was a way for Rafe to walk around town looking sullen and nervous. (And because they're too cheap to bring out the set.) -

If they claim Allie is a college graduate, this would put her around the 21-ish year old-mark (if she went immediately following high school). They are writing her like she's a petulant 14 year old who didn't get the right shade of lipstick for Christmas. I did appreciate the realism of an adoption agency using veiled terminology to explain "why" Will and Sonny were not suitable candidates. Unfortunately this is still a major uphill battle so many face. -

Will smirks and Sonny wears oversized sports jackets to harass Jake about Gabi's whereabouts Eric wants to get married today Nicole talks to Marlena about inviting Sami to the wedding (that goes over about as well as expected, it's not like Nicole suggested having Ben be there) Shawn and Belle want Claire to move to Hong Kong with them -

Everyone in Salem: Ciara, you poor darling, we are so worried about Claire being released. Ciara stands next to Ben. I'm fine. Everyone in Salem: But Claire! She's so dangerous. Ciara grabs Ben's muscular arm. I think I'll be OK. Everyone in Salem: But we're not sure sure she's 100% OK. Ciara coos at Ben. I feel protected. Everyone in Salem: But! Claire! Ciara rips off Ben's clothes. I'm a big girl. I miss Claire. -
They're BFFs. They likely share that half-heart necklace.
-
What worries? That they aren't butting into enough people's personal business?

This is Salem. I believe you have to at least attempt to murder someone, or else they ask you to move to the next town. -

And I suppose if you're getting cold feet, no need to call it off beforehand. Something (or someone) will interrupt the proceedings in due course. -

I stopped watching for a period of time. Why exactly is Julie the town's go-to for marriage officiant? -

Oh Orpheus, calling a woman a "bitch". You're so edgy. Really show? In 2020 you couldn't have found a better way to word that line? -

My totally unspoiled speculation is that while he's rescuing her from the depths of danger, he'll have a sudden flashback of his love her as Stefan. -

Wow, how much is Victoria Konefal bribing the writers with? This whole episode was a tongue bath of how ah-mazing Ciara is, and how she should totally and completely be the CEO of Titan! (As CEO she gets an ensuite with bed for lunchtime nookie with Ben.) Also, big ups to Claire for very rightfully pointing out that Ben is the Necktie Killer and currently roams free. And big downs to Marlena for trying to hand wave that extremely important point away. -

I feel like Hope will provide the matches. -
But he's never been divorced. Priorities. You'd think Eric having been a priest at one point balances out Nicole's divorces. (I know that's not how it works.)

You missed the part then where they did mention speaking to Ari about expanding their family. Although it was more in the context of "your mother has been arrested... again." Thanks show, for making me side with Rafe. Other than being related by blood, what tie or connection does Zoe think she has to David? Rafe was right to say that he will throw everything at the judge and it will impact their decision. "I know my way around a courtroom" isn't really a threat when you literally just dropped by to apologize for accidentally shooting the guy. -
My favourite Sami is when she's teamed up with Kate. Such an unlikely pairing, but those two play off each other so well. I still laugh at the scenes where they're trying to get rid of Nick's body, calmly and rationally (given the situation), albeit while dealing with a hysterical Gabi.

But he's CHANGED. -
Original Recipe Degrassi which aired in the 80s had an abortion storyline. The character went through with it, On topic: the pretending you're with someone and having their baby storyline was done not that long ago with Nicole and Rafe. Do we really need to revisit a similar story so soon? (Answer: Ron)

When she congratulated Nicole and Eric, she was happier than when her own daughter announced her engagement. And generally, when someone is happy for a family member's impending nuptials, "We're engaged" would be followed by something like, "Wow, and Ciara too! Two summer weddings, how wonderful!" Then again, she was probably tired from the landspeed record she set from getting to the penthouse so fast.
