  1. I just realized what was missing from The Women Tell All. It seems like every season during this episode (whether 'Women Tell All' or 'Men Tell All') they indicate which of our 'favorites' will be on Bachelor in Paradise. Did they just forget to mention that?... Actually, and this is a serious comment, I would love to see these women hanging out at the Mexican resort having fun and having drinks. Just them, well and Jesse can come and make comments and Wells can make them their drinks. Oh, and Jorge can put tours together for them.
  2. I really have doubts about a 'Golden Bachelorette' as in my experience any man over 60 who wants to be married has a lot of options. There is a reason that people joke about single men in retirement homes and communities aren't single for long if they don't want to be. I think it would be harder to find 20-25 men who would want to be on the show than it was to find available women. However, if there is such a show, I would really like Susan to be the Bachelorette as she has personality and is a hoot!
  3. Dahmere is really rising to the top of the competition, but hopefully he won't let it get in his head too much. The women really did well this episode, but I still think Sandra may let the competition get to her too much and get rattled. I think that Devon may really come around-he seemed sincerely borken up by his poor performance and may be able to get more focused. And, again, the celebrity tables are filled by 'celebrities' I have never heard of before.
  4. I think Claire is someone who expects other people to read her mind or just know what she wants. She stated how independent and strong she is, yet just expected Cameron to know to take her suitcase. I have known so many people who have expected me to 'know' what they wanted and then got mad at me because I didn't know. I am so not a mind reader, and kind of resent it when those people have gotten mad at me. Oh, and Claire, whenever you tell someone 'everyone knows...' you are immediately implying something negative about that person-so if you want to develop apositive relationship with someone, don't tell them that as you are criticizing them.
  5. This is my age demographic and the following is going to sound erally shallow, but...Gerry looked his age in this episode. I think the outdoor lighting is better for him. And, as they recapped the season and showed a lot of close-ups I kept thinking that the 'stubble' look on him just looked like he was an old man who couldn't shave closely because of thin skin of something. He looked much better in this episode as he was clean shaven. It was also interesting that his hair was darker and not as styled. I gues what with the actual filming of the 'journey' over they aren't paying for him to have a stylist anymore. And, if I want to see saggy boobs I will just look in my mirror. I don't need to see everyone's boobs. I thought the better dressed women were those who didn't put all of their 'goods' on display. Faith's tan lines were showing, so her dress was more revealing than whatever swim suit she wears. I was surprised by Faith's emotional breakdown as there is a gap between her being eliminated and the filming of the Tell All. I haven't been impressed by Gerry this whole season as he reminded me of some men I dated in the past who would always say the 'right' things but then never follow up with the 'right' actions.
  6. Cameron and Clair are already in trouble. Neither one of them is a good communicator and I think that, once again, we can see why they turned to this show to find a spouse. Everyone else still seems to be on their good behavior, but maybe they will all start falling apart on the honeymoon. I still don't think they should have matched Becca-too many medical issues for this situation (marrying a stranger). I really like her, but think it's too much to put on a stranger (which the show keeps reminding us that these people married strangers).
  7. I think Kaleb and Jake made the same mistake others do when they think they are great strategists and that is they think everyone else is playing for them to win and will agree with their strategy. It is always so entertaining to me when those who think they know how to run the game (hello Dee) finally realize that others are also playing the game. However, even though they exposed that they were lying to Katurah about 'looking for my rings' and whether or not Bruce had an idol, they were still trying to work with her. By voting out Kaleb, Katurah lost two people who were trying to work with her. I think Jake was smart to admit to Julie he voted for her-that way her anger wouldn't simmer and grow on the walk back to camp. I was surprised by how upset she was. I guess she and Dee just assumed that everyone would do what they wanted and how dare someone try to play their own game. I think Jake could just grovel before her and that may satisfy her. I am so over Bruce. He really thinks he should be the king of the tribe and that everyone should come bow down before him and find out how he demands that they vote. The thought that HE should go talk to others never even occurs to him. Why should he go to them? They're supposed to come before him.
  8. I thought about her too, but really think she's too busy to invest the time it would take what with all the different parts of the show (blinds, etc.). But, I do think she has the personality to bring the judging panel to life.
  9. This season is just so...boring (IMO).
  10. I haven't watched that much of the season (really? Sunday nights at 10:00 [but in actuality even later due to football?), so I appreciated seeing some things I hadn't seen before. Survivor never showed this negative side of Cirie-I never realized how much she holds a grudge (especially when someone says or does something against her iddy biddy little innocent boy even if it's because that person is, you know, trying to win for themselves and not for her boy). Although the "big secret" about Cirie and Jared will be revealed at the finale, I really wish the even bigger secret would be that Felicia IS related to Denzel Washington-that would be the best twist of all time!
  11. I just rewatched this episode and liked it better. Unfortunately, due to my refusing to pay for streaming services I will only have the first two episodes of the show to remember Frasier by-this could be a show I would watch if it was on regular t.v. but not with it being on Paramount+.
  12. This episode (art forgery) really hit home for me how irritating the angst over will Alex's ex take him back is-he had such better chemistry and interactions with Rose. I think the ex and the two assistants are really weak actors and characters that usually grind any kind of action in the story to a halt. I do like some of the psychological explanations but totally agree about the absurdity of the 'experiments.' Someone above mentioned completing the Institutional Review process, but there is also the element of getting permission forms from those (willingly) participating in the research/experiments. There have not been examples of any participants being informed. Especially not in Vegas, and even the sentimental guitar buyer in this episode.
  13. Just watched the Juicy Box episode. Once again, the owner knows what the problem is (his son) but doesn't want to be the one to use the 'hammer' so gets Gordon to be the one to say 'no' to the son. I see this more and more-parents who give everything to children or fight all of the battles for their children but don't want to say no or discipline. They leave it to the teachers (but then complain about those teachers), employers, and...Gordon... I liked the chef, Seth, as his food looked good (and in the preliminary meal Gordon even complimented the snapper which is something he normally doesn't do). I thought the revised menu food looked amazing. And, when I'm in Brooklyn next summer may even try to find the restaurant. I think this one could really work if Q follows through.
  14. Well, there was a twist in the Australia episode. Usually we hear numerous house hunters complain about how small the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens are compared to those in the U.S. This time, every comparison was to what they had in Dubai (this bedroom is the size of our ensuite in Dubair....). I like that they changed it up (sarcasm).
  15. Sean could have just quit if it was so important for him to leave the game. He wanted to quit but to have it labeled as being voted out. He made the decision to play and he made the decision to leave. Nobody else has to follow his lead. However, in an interview I read, he stated that maybe he made the wrong decision to ask to be voted out (I read the interview on this site, either in the media or his thread, so that's as much of a reference I am making). Hannah basically made the same decision and she told her tribe to either vote her out or she would quit. Players who want to leave absolutely have the right to do so. Players who want to vote according to what is best for their own game also have the right to do so IMO. Yes, they are all humans, but they all have their own motivations. And, if someone was seriously injured or mentally breaking down (Kathy [I think], Brandon) the show takes them out or arranges immediate voting to get them out, but Jeff does intervene.
  16. I was just wondering if Hells Kitchen has a physical that participants have to pass like other reality shows? If so, wouldn't they have prevented Brad from participating? It seems like they should have realized there could be a potential problem with his recent surgery. Just put him off a season. If they knew about the potential risks and had him play bumper soccer, they should have known there could be problems. Oh well, there I go, putting far more thought into a show than the producers put in...
  17. I was sorry to see Brad leave. He was never going to win, but he was enthusiastic and a team player. I think there was something seriously wrong as Gordon let him leave through the front door and did not harange him about his help. I could imagine a surgical wound that reopened or something. Maybe he'll get a second chance in another season. And, wow, did Demare get quite the compliment from Gordon. Unlike some other seasons, I fell like there are several contenders for the win. But, Renaisha wasn't one of them. There were times I liked her and times she just needed to stop yelling at others. Hopefully she'll be able to get a better job at home, but I don't ever see her as an executive chef. I really liked the guest judge-I bet his restaurant is really good.
  18. If I were one of the two left standing there after he gave out his first rose and then had to leave in order to have a break-down, I would have left then and there. If he didn't know he wanted to give a rose to me, I would not have waited for further humiliation. Anyway, I thought both of Theresa's sisters looked pretty and much better than their surgically enhanced sister. I don't understand the desire for excessive surgery that results in one looking not natural-tight, shiny, and stretched. Oh, I don't think horse woman would ever move away from her land and horses. And, Theresa seems so very needy that I doubt she would leave her family even though she seems desperate to be with Gerry. I agree with others, Gerry is totally all about how they look at him, touch him, etc. He will want to be the center of the life of whomever he chooses.
  19. I like Becca (at least at this point, we shall see as the season progresses), but I don't think they should have cast her after having surgery and still being in the recovery stage. She also has a medical condition as noted by several posters. I think it's unfair to her husband who now has to deal with her medical issues (as many have noted, it's one think when one knows about medical concerns before getting married, but getting 'surprised' by them as soon as married is different). I still blame producers for putting Derrick with Katie and her medical issues along with demanding he put her on his insurance and then looking down at him for the remainder of their marriage.
  20. Jake used to be a huge binge eater. He would eat whenever he could and they showed some old pictures of him being heavy. He said that he was sitting in his car in front of his parents' house eating something and his mom came out and told him that they loved him no matter what. He then started dieting and working out. He lost a lot of weight and got in shape.
  21. Chris gets a lot of blame for winning the season with the worst concept behind it on Survivor. Edge of Extinction? Just goes to show the producers are so excited about all of the twists and turns they develop without thinking through the potential consequences. It is fun to watch survivors find the loopholes to the various twists and then see Jeff's reaction and how it's addressed on future seasons. However, even though Chris won according to the parameters of the season on which he appeared, I view it as unfair to the participants who lasted the entire season without getting voted out. Chris' win does carry an asterik with it IMO. Even though it's not his fault that the season was poorly designed, he will continue to be labeled according to his season. I did watch the challenge and I really resented the fact that Chris stated in a confessional that he needed to win in order to get the money to help his family. Really? What happened to his Survivor winnings? And, WHY do reality competition participants think that winning a show is the only way to 'earn' money for their families? Get a job (okay, and get off my lawn...)!
  22. I think the Chamoy presenter made a huge mistake. Kevin with his "Chef Wonderful" marketing could have really helped her expand her market and he could show people how to incorporate the sauces. I agree with an above poster that she wanted exposure not a deal. I really like Jason Blum and his backstory. Would like to see him again, but this episode was probably the best fit for him. Really enjoyed the set decorations. There was quite a bit there and the tombstones were quite clever (and reminded me of the tombstones at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland/Disney World). Overall an enjoyable episode for me (and producers, please take note that this is the type of guest Shark who 'works').
  23. It seems to me that Jake's medical issue will have an impact in a furture episode (no spoilers) just based on it being featured in two different episodes at this point. Hopefully he doesn't have an undiagnosed heart (or other) issue. I think it would be far more interesting if the amulet powers were reversed. So that if all 3 make it to (say) final six tribal council they all have an immunity idol, if 2 make it an extra vote and if 1 a steal the vote. It would be interesting to watch them try to save each other as well as honor whatever other alliances they have. This is how Jeff could get the cross0original tribal alliances that they are always trying to create. Could provide some interesting strategy. Instead, it's the usual trying to get each other out. Although Julie and Dee might know that Austin has the Reba idol, maybe they are concerned that SIFU found the new camp's idol. And, I really don't understand J's strategy of putting herself on the outside and telling SIFU that she voted for him. Even just sitting here watching the show and having had dinner I wanted to choose the sandwiches. The worst thing about all of these advantages is that they are too confusing and make me have to think more than I want to (let me clarify that thinking is good in general...). I just want to watch the show, I don't want to have to write copious notes in order to understand what the advantages do (and how they grow stronger) or who has what. Just play, squabble, and entertain me!
  24. I soooo share your disappointment! Did they delete those scenes so we could get more of Renaisha yelling at people (Jason in this episode)? Did they delete those scenes so that we could see more of Paula Abdul and Dophl Lundgren? Did they delete those scenes so that we could watch every member of the blue team throw axes? Or did they delete those scenes in order to disappoint GHScorpiosRule and me? I think we may have the basis for a class action lawsuit...
  25. I just watched the episode with the "preppers" and Neville's good-bye to his girlfriend. However, over dinner they have a discussion and Neville says that he was burned by his last relationship and that she left the island. What? Is he talking about Florence and how he wanted a relationship and she didn't? That's not being burned, that's being rebuffed in one's advances towards someone they are supervising. What a revision of the way that relationship went. Now, if he had a relationship with someone other than Florence and was burned, I apologized as I didn't see those episodes. But, what I did see was how his obsession towards someone he supervised did not end with him being burned but with Florence being very gracious and understanding while clarifying they would not be having an intimate relationship.
