He mentions the girl a lot. The texting, etc. But in earlier seasons, if i recall, someone asked him if he had kids, and he responded "a daughter." Now he has a son. I definitely remember being surprised there was a boy. The "official" NCIS LA fan wiki says mentions only the daughter. Color me confused. :(

I assume she'll end up back in intelligence before long (but not before she has a fling with the DEA agent) I'm not sure why Voight was so mad at Nadia. Yes, Erin had reason to be angry because she brought an OD to Erin's apt., but why Voight? He was being protective of Erin? I like Nadia and what she represents. She's clawing her way to a better life, and all because Erin took the time to get her some help. I thought this whole time that Roman's "I fell for her" was unrequited. I was surprised they had dated. Roman's going to be carrying some serious guilt baggage around after that. Burgess got caught in the shoulder - at edge of vest? Love that Olinsky blew that guy away in the car. Tee. Someone explain to me, please, how the police can steal evidence from a drug den? Do they get a warrant first?

Reality interrupted my fun when I realized that security would never have let Winston and Nick off their plane, esp if it was so close to departure that he had to turn his phone off. I loved that the player kept mouthing stuff to Deeks and he finally said "SHE'S RIGHT HERE!" hilarious. Shallow alert: I'm tired of Kensi's plaid button downs. Get a henley. A v-neck tshirt. a light blue oxford. CHANGE IT UP. (Altho, then i'd have to request LL lose the henleys, and i don't want that.)

my stupid DVR started late (apparently it still thinks DWTS is on before it) so I missed the whole convo with Alexis, Martha & Beckett. I caught the tail end with Beckett asking about the poem being for real. GRR. I was completely thrown by Stana's voice while reading Beckett's (awesome) poem at the end. I kept waiting for her to laugh and play off that she was being funny...? Did anyone else notice the gravelly delivery? No? just me? I miss suave Castle. I miss Ryan interacting more. Now he pops up like whack-a-mole with his bon mots and "hot leads." They never show Ryan and Espo door-knocking anymore. Just Caskett. I, too, wish for fun Rita to join the squad. Bye, Tory!

Actually, the plot device TV shows use *is letting family members ride in the ambulance. My family is full of EMTs/police/fire and what happened here is precisely why they never let family ride. 1 - they can interfere with care if they are trying to talk to the injured person, or demand that more be done, putting the patient/EMT in danger; 2 - if the patient is severely injured, the EMT cannot take the time to answer family questions; and 3 - if the patient dies, then their family member witnesses the whole thing. I have a friend whose 10-year old had to go in an ambulance and they wouldn't let her ride with them. I think maybe they might allow it with infants, if only because the parent might be able to explain what's wrong, and comfort an infant in a strange situation. Also, I think they may allow it in certain situations if they need a translator. Even if Mills did ask the father to accompany them, he would have had to ride up front and wouldn't have seen what happened anyway. my two cents.

I do like that Burgess stuck up for him, tho. I agree - couldn't they hold the wife for questioning since the boyfriend implicated her? They do that all the time on SVU - hold them for 24 hours.
