I'm spoiler tagging my first comments in case those of you who don't watch previews don't want to know what they showed. I got angrier and angrier at Curtis with each interaction. These people are trying to help you! Your mother is moving you away to save you! LISTEN! (To be fair, i have zero experience with gangs and have no idea how hard it has to be to say no to them. But at least remove yourself from situations when you can help it!) I thought Tom Selleck was wonderful. Also Garret's and Sid's faces when they went to tell him. All that emotion between the three of them with no words. Where was Samuel L Jackson's wife? (I can never remember her name - La Tanya?) Why wasn't she running Danny and Baez's leads, etc. I didn't like the convo between Danny and the Commish. Frank seemed almost *too* righteous, if that's the word. Danny told the truth - he wanted out. Frank has all kinds of other detectives he could have used that didn't have a relationship with the victim. I, too, mourn the loss of Jobu. He had maybe 3 lines! Those 24 DVDs must not be selling very well if he's accepting cop serial guest spots.

I did like Steve and Danny entering the pool party: "We've been here 3 minutes and I've already seen 6 felonies." (pointing) "7." "Promise me something, Danny - Gracie goes to college online." "Done."

I can't even read everyone's comments through the tears (still this morning!) but wanted to pop in to say that regardless of the rest of the episode - writing/death/ham-handed-stick-it-to-patrick-dempsey-for-deigning-to-leave-shonda, Ellen Pompeo was masterful. I hope she finally gets an Emmy nom.

agreed - i just wonder why he's still a cop. I thought maybe it was because he and Kensi could skate on their relationship because he wasn't *technically an agent.

please, someone refresh my memory - at one point in the series, Hetty gives Deeks an application for NCIS. Has Deeks talked about a specific reason why he has continued to be an LA detective instead of moving over to NCIS? Was it just to have this IA investigation storyline?

Thanks. I think i've seen almost the whole series now (out of order), and I don't remember Maddie ever coming back. I would have liked to see her and Gibbs remain friends. Esp since her own father had passed away. Fun fact: this ep aired in 2007, and the scooby crew sussed out Maddie's relationship to Gibbs by checking her MySpace page. Was that still relevant, even then???

Watched Requiem last night on USA, where Gibbs helps Kelly's best friend from childhood escape a stalkery boyfriend. What a great episode. Mark Harmon could do the entire ep with his eyes and never speak. I loved that it opened with Tony running full throttle shooting bad guys and then dives in the river. I felt cheated tho that Gibbs didn't open the lunchbox - was I to assume that at the end he buried it again without opening? Tony is my series-long MVP and this ep just cemented it. He's so snarky and irreverent that I forget he was a Baltimore detective before joining NCIS.

I am going to commit an egregious violation of forum protocol and quote myself. Seriously, did anyone else notice Montgomery's name?? Did i make it up??? As for the rest: I am just going to spend the rest of the season enjoying Stana's hair and Nathan's comic delivery.

If she's still holding him at arm's length even after taking him home at Christmas then that's on her. If they *are* dating, then yes, Eric needs to not be blatant about flirting.
