  1. Oops my bad - he was in his 50s. I thought he was in his late 20s. I believe that this is the last we are seeing of Franco as a character on the show (just a hunch - not a spoiler) . We may see him in more football tape but not as a person who would interact with the others. I do not know about health tests but I do know a couple who are similar sized to Toby and Kate that adopted a baby 2-3 years ago and were able to do so fairly easily (from the outside looking in - I am sure it was anguishing for them going through the process) I have zero idea how they could possibly afford and pay for the treatments. I know couples who have very good incomes and are in very good health who have trouble with the exhorbitant (just my opinions) costs. I do not think Kate has a job and not sure what Toby does but he isn't pulling down big bucks like an actor (Kevin) or a stock analyst/crop futures wiz (Randall). I need to know how they are paying!!!! I absolutely loved the literal carrot cake she made.... Interesting with the JLH reference given she is on 911 this season and the folks on that board seem to hate her... They would still be in the bar waiting as I would be totally scared to death that they were a creepy stalkery guy.
  2. My thought is that there is food, but Sarah and Kathy's characters aren't feeding it to them....
  3. I said to my husband - here comes the Coven connection with Stevie's song in the background. Everything always means SOMETHING in AHS with Ryan....
  4. This... And LeeAnne's wedding planner is what I refer to as "prematurely black". For the love no human has hair that color! It was solid, pitch black. I feel like they are smart enough to know that a real backstory would come out if there were one with this being on the show. Solely for that reason, I believe it is just a happenstance that they found a red haired baby boy that needed adopting. I have been to some of those executive education week or two long trainings and they are no joke. We are not even allowed to have spouses or children on site much more than a drop off or pickup from the company owned training facility and hotel where you must stay... These are not 8-5 classes but all day, every day and then groups/teams with assignments that must be worked on after the training time is over with etc. A family or spouse that showed up for a weekend would likely cut into the team work time and thus cause repercussions for him in the successful completion of the training course. I can see him wanting to get there and get the "lay of the land" before agreeing to have the fam come up over a weekend. Yeah - LeeAnne was harsh to D'Andra but no harsher than D'Andra was to LeeAnne about her wedding. I was shocked she couldn't take it.... This is just dumb. I would doubt there are that many people that like her plus it is her husbands 3rd or 4th wedding - talk about social etiquette violations... Exactly.
  5. Dear Cary - there aren’t any Michelin star restaurants in Dallas or the whole state of Texas - not just Fort Worth stockyards. Reference: http://reportingtexas.com/stars-might-be-big-and-bright-in-texas-but-none-of-them-is-a-michelin/
  6. I work in such an environment after YEARS and YEARS of having an office and prior to that having a cube with walls. I thought the same as you -- that I would hate it. I don't hate it at all and frankly enjoy it... It builds a different camaraderie than offices/cubes can.
  7. After watching the show, I think Jenny and Jeff are in on this together to attract more press for the show somehow. And watching the show and knowing Jenny hadn't worked there in ages, it was very obvious by her interactions with the other folks. Especially the woman who hugged her like she hadn't seen her in ages whose house they are redoing and were redoing last season. She also had to ask for phone numbers of people who she would have had their # had she really been Jeff's assistant. I like how they gave her a new title and all. But I am suspicious of it being an actual "break-up" and not done for ratings.
  8. They have fraternization rules against the DCC dating the Players.
  9. This was the reason for the pageant - to determine who was queen of the group. It was a battle between LeeAnne and D'Andra I commented to my husband how great Cary looked with shorter darker hair and more natural makeup than she did in that talking head with the light wavy blonde hair and GOBS of makeup on in weird, wild colors. That was not flattering at all. She is so pretty at the vacation home more natural.... Yeah - I though D'Andra went too far for knowing they were on camera. Off camera, I think its a conversation that they could have as long-time friends.... I was surprised LeeAnne didn't go berserk on her Yep - LeeAnne seems pretty possessive of her friendship with D'Andra and it is only a matter of time til she loses her cool. Which - she has been pretty cool - compared to seasons prior LeeAnne... Loved that show....
  10. Marshall is employed by and does not own the local to DFW area chain of salons - Tangerine.
  11. Yes - so creepy!!! My husband and I rewound and tried to see what it said but it looked like she might be a cutter too or that Camille thought she might be a cutter? We never could see what it said. yeah - I kept expecting that too. There were quite a few cliches in the miniseries. One question I have is how to Camille get so "clean" from her alcoholism so quickly? I get she was in the hospital awhile and I was convinced by her new demeanor that she was no longer abusing alcohol but how did she get there so quickly? I feel like I need to read the book. I should say though that i loved the first half of Gone Girl and hated hated hated the ending....
  12. So... we moved in May and I am just now getting around to ordering a front-door doormat. I was deeply concerned *cough* that it would not be the appropriate size due to the RHOA lesson we learned this season. I am pretty sure I did okay... But had to share that with the folks on here as before it would have never crossed my mind.
  13. I have loved reading everyone’s ideas on the show. I was shocked by part 2 but haven’t rewatched (probably won’t). I guess we just have to wait and see or visualize it differently. We each write our own endings to these shows (I never thought Tony Soprano died outside that diner — I don’t hate on those who do though!) and in our minds it all sorts itself out... Interested to see what comes up in the next episode!
  14. Yes -- they all seem southern but I have a hard time knowing it is Missouri and thinking "southern". If you asked me to name a southern state, I would name VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, TN, FL, MS, LA, AR then I would name KY, TX and I probably would never name Missouri. A quick google reference: However Little Dixie is geographically more in the center of the state near Jefferson City than "spitting distance"from Tennessee.
  15. I'm from the deep south and just have a hard time with Missouri discussed as being southern. To me, its the midwest. This town seems more like Northwest Mississippi or Arkansas to me. I am totally intrigued with this show and wouldn't understand half of what is going on with this show if I didn't read this board. I feel like I need to read the book but trying to wait til the show is over so that I am not totally spoiled.
  16. So at least we now know that Cole was in Madison, WI for the conference and that is relatively close to O'Hare.... Loved them playing along with the thought that they were a couple at the motel. Anton was hilarious and a great roadmate for Cole and Noah. I was so hoping it wasn't Alison and totally shocked that they went there... Glad I watched this "live" last night...
  17. They were in line at Southwest airlines -- SWA only flies into Midway in the Chicago area. So not O'hare if we are to believe they were on Southwest...
  18. I thought she looked like she could be a Judd sister. Like somewhere between Ashley Judd and Naomi Judd. I can see a little Ann Margaret too. She looked older than her true age for sure which isn't usually what we ladies go for... :-)
  19. My husband and I remarked on this. I cannot believe anyone in the restaurant business would order it well done. No way you go to any restaurant and order meat that way if you are with other industry folks. If you don't like meat (you can't if you get it well done), order seafood or pasta.
  20. Naomie is getting such a bad edit this season. I get she is acting out but my goodness they aren't leaving anything to doubt with her... She is on everyone's case and just seems plain old mean at this point... Her Birkin is faux -- I think this was established a few seasons ago when she met her friend for lunch and was carrying this bag or one similar.
  21. I do not like Kim on RHOA but I do enjoy her own show. She is definitely in a different "character" mode in each of these shows with only a few small similarities. (red solo cup!) I think on her show she has geniune interactions with others whereas Kandi had it right when she called her out on being more on the peripheral of the show and waiting to escape back to Kroy. These genuine interactions make her infinitely more likable. Kroy has a lot more personality too. Has Marlo been to Chateau Sheree? I am wondering what she would say about her (from what I could tell and I did rewind a few times) lack of porch mat? Is no mat better than a small mat? Inquiring minds... Prize of the night should have gone to Nene and Greg as Exterminator and Roach. PERFECT SHADE.... On to the reunion....
  22. I think it is this for sure. No one can cure *that many* incurable cancers else they would share the method and it would become curable. I was shocked that there weren't specific orders in a system and that she did verbal orders and even questioned them but still did it. We *all* saw that setup coming but my goodness what a cold blooded killer we have in Lane.
  23. It was no surprise to me that she was alive after they finally got together. Bummer that it was soooooo soon after the hookup! I also noticed the engagement ring so I feel like she disappeared herself and was definitely not happy to see Wyatt..... Reminds me of Grey's Anatomy when Meredith said to her "lover" who found out his wife was alive (coincidentally played by the actress playing Lucy!) and was leaving to go see her -- "If it was Derrick, I'd have already been gone."
  24. I feel really bad for Frannie in all of this and I can't get the scene from a few seasons ago when she almost drowned her out of my head when they show them together. She really is basically unfit to be a full time mom to her. Yeah I definitely got the vibe that either they already were a couple having an affair or he wanted to have one with her or SOMETHING was in the works.... And no way did Saul take down the surveillance. I am sure he just redirected it to his team to view!
