  1. What does the men who Taylor and Brooke have had sex with have to do with Douglas' custody? Ridge and Eric have also slept their way through a family, and Eric and Thorne are constantly getting involved with Ridge's exes. There is no reason for Brooke and Hope to be rushing Liam or Thomas into signing anything. It would be very easy for them to contact Karen and Bill first, and then proceed. Brooke's mad because Ridge didn't support her (no surprise there, Brooke has met Ridge hasn't she), and she's rushing Liam and Hope into something, Liam isn't sure about. Would it kill Hope and Brooke to at least listen to Liam? I don't think so. Beside Liam's very reasonable points about getting custody of Douglas, perhaps Liam is also wondering if Hope is going to bail again at the first problem. Which would possibly leave Liam trying to co-parent with Steffy, Hope, and Thomas. Who wouldn't want to sign on for that headache?
  2. I think I am about to defend Liam with this post, which annoys me almost as much as if I was defending Ridge or Brooke, but here goes: Liam made valid points about Douglas' other relatives and the state of Brooke's marriage to Ridge. That's not saying Liam and Hope couldn't adopt Douglas, although it wouldn't be nearly as easy as B&B would have us believe, but Liam was simply trying to point out some facts that he, Hope, and Brooke should discuss before going full steam ahead. Neither Hope nor Brooke wanted to listen to him. Just like Hope didn't want to listen to Liam when he didn't want to end their marriage. That's a problem.
  3. Ridge has been telling Brooke that Douglas belongs with Thomas. If Thomas were to give up his parental rights, which I don't think will happen, that could motivate Douglas' other relatives to step forward. Either way, this is not going to go well for Ridge/Brooke or Liam/Hope. I have no clue why Brooke wants Ridge, but I have no doubt the minute Ridge hooks up with Shana, Brooke will want Ridge to move back in. Liam will get tired of Hope's nagging, and hang out with Steffy claiming it's for Kelly and Beth. Then when Liam decides he wants to hook up with Steffy again, it will be revealed Bill is Kelly's father. Then Brad Bell will bore everyone for months writing about Shana/Ridge/Brooke and Liam/Steffy/Hope with a side of Sally/Wyatt/Flo thrown in. Kill me now.
  4. As Liam quite rightly pointed out, he is already trying to be a father to Kelly and Beth, and Douglas has other relatives who might want custody. Notice who Brooke and Hope sent out of the room so they could try to persuade Thomas to sign the papers - Liam. This isn't about Thomas and Douglas, or Liam. It's about what Brooke and Hope want, and they don't care what anyone else thinks or wants which is going to blow up in Hope's face when Liam waffles back to Steffy.
  5. When the triangle of Ridge/Taylor/Brooke was going on, there were also several other SLs. Even they did not take up the show 24/7 all year long.
  6. Poor Vinnie. He is to nice for his own good. Liam seemed to be the voice of reason there for a second. Are Brooke and Hope this stupid? They do realize they can't legally keep Thomas from Douglas. As far as bypassing Ridge, Karen, and Taylor, with the adoption papers - it's not that easy. Of course, this is the land of instant annulments, and no one goes to prison, so I don't know why I'm surprised the writers can't be bothered to get this SL right either.
  7. I don't see how any of the women on this show can be seen as winning. If they don't end up with a waffle, they end up alone pining for a waffle.
  8. If Ridge hooks up with Flo instead of Shana, I am going to be LMAO. Brad Bell just does not understand how to do long term rivalries. He needs to check out Vicky and Dorian from OTLT, or Erica and Brooke on AMC. They had so much more to fight about than just some pathetic man. Susan Flannery is the reason Stephanie was so much fun to watch. She made the character.
  9. This episode was a little better. There was more focus on actual law even though hijinks were still included. I love Sherry.
  10. Steffy and Hope are both selfish, and so is Liam. If any of them had any functioning brain cells or ever thought about someone besides themselves, they would not keep ending up in this idiotic situation. Liam lost his child to when he thought Beth was dead, and tried to be there for Hope. That's about as much as I want to defend Liam. Even Steffy questioned why Hope didn't consider adopting. Why did Hope have to end her marriage to Liam and marry Thomas so she could be a mother? There were also several people who warned Hope about Thomas, and she didn't listen. So this time around, Hope played a major part in her marriage to Liam ending. Hope was the one insisting Liam should go be with Steffy and Kelly. Of course, now that Beth is alive, Hope has changed her tune again. Liam could have stayed with Wyatt. Steffy didn't have to let Liam move in with her. No sympathy for any of these idiots. I feel sorry for Kelly and Beth. Is Liam ever going to find out Thomas drugged him?
  11. Liam needs to get his life sorted out, but while he is at it, I would like for him to remind Hope, that Hope is the one who ended their marriage. In the past, Liam was a pathetic waffle, but this time around, Liam was there for Hope, and she bailed. She ended her marriage to Liam, told him to go be with Steffy and Kelly, and married Thomas. This isn't all on Liam. Thomas just keeps getting more delusional. I did like his comment about Katie being at death's door every other day.
  12. It was risky, but Hanson did not want Ned back in Honduras so he needed Ned to lead the uprising. Going after George for the mine was the best opportunity in Cornwall to discredit Ned, and prove to the Crown that Ned was dangerous and a rebel. Hanson probably believed the mob would do some damage, but didn't think they would be brave enough to kill. Very dumb of him. Mobs by their very nature can be dangerous even if they have the best motives. Also, when they were in London, George still had half his marbles, and they were getting business done. George goes to Cornwall, and completely loses it. Suddenly, Hanson is getting told George can't sign anything, George has gone North, etc. Hanson wants to move forward with their business and getting Cecily to marry George so he wants to go back to London where things seemed to be on track.
  13. Ned is a fool. Ross is a jackass. George is a fool and a jackass. I don't know how Kitty, Demezla, and poor Elizabeth put up with these idiots. Poor Valentine, Morwenna and John. I'm glad Cecily and Geoffrey Charles decided to elope. I don't like what they are doing with Caroline.
  14. This. They have good characters that are interesting. I really like the actress who plays Carmichael. The writers are the ones failing here.
  15. If Steffy took Kelly to see Beth or Hope took Beth to see Kelly, the writers can't get the same conflict they can with Liam taking Beth to see Steffy and Kelly. It's completely manufactured because they settled this triangle like a dozen times now, and then they turn around and have Liam waffle again. Brad Bell has written all of the characters into a corner. His unwillingness to allow any character to have a different SL has left the show stagnant. For years, SF wanted to retire because of her health, but they kept asking her to stay. When she finally did retire, the loss of Stephanie left a HUGE gap in the show. If Brad Bell had planned better, it wouldn't have happened. He made the same mistake with the Ridge/Taylor/Brooke triangle and the Steffy/Liam/Hope triangle. He just refused to let them end even for a few years. If that's not bad enough, now everyone and their dog is in a stupid triangle.
  16. I think Hope's visit to Steffy is going to set off a lot of things Hope didn't intend to. I bet Ridge convinces Steffy to let Thomas and Douglas move in with her. Ridge and Brooke will really be on the outs which means it's going to be Shana's turn with one of the show's waffles. Hope will continue to be insecure about her relationship with Liam with Brooke hounding Hope to end her marriage to Thomas and marry Liam ASAP. However, Hope's insecurities will annoy Liam, and he'll add to the problem by spending more and more time with Steffy and Kelly. Why can't there be just one new SL that doesn't involve a god damn triangle?
  17. I don't understand why Liam and Hope didn't both take Beth to see Steffy and Kelly. They've had both Liam and Hope saying this wasn't Steffy's fault, they want Kelly and Beth to see each other. So the only reason to hit this reset, and back track on all three characters is because Brad Bell refuses to let this boring idiotic triangle die.
  18. So Lizzie really is to stupid to live and the FBI really is this incompetent? Unless the writers are going to pull a rabbit out of a hat, and say Liz knew what new neighbor was up to all along, they aren't even trying anymore. Even I didn't think Liz was this dumb.
  19. I wish this scene had never happened, but since it did. I would have liked some follow up on Steffy telling Hope that Hope was the one who kicked Liam to the curb and told him to go be with Steffy and Kelly. I think this maybe a red herring though and possibly Brad Bell and the writers are trolling the viewers. I won't be surprised if Liam chooses Hope on Monday, it's eventually revealed Kelly is Bill's daughter, and a few months from now Hope breaks up with Liam again starting the whole damn process over. Lather, rinse, repeat.
  20. I want to say, "Oh Steffy, how can you be so delusional?" "Hope, why did you go over there and scream like a desperate fishwife? That's not a good look on anyone." However, I keep coming back to, "Damn you writers for writing this crap again. Die already. I hate you." Thomas I have seen Stephanie Forrester in action, and you are no Stephanie Forrester.
  21. I'm enjoying the show. I like Wade and his daughters. Wade's friends are looking desperate in their attempts to get him to date. In some instances, it's funny, but they need to back off a little.
  22. Missy and George were my favorite part of the episode.
  23. I wonder why they didn't kill Frank? Shut up Gabriel and Asher. I'm not sure if the woman's dating app really was discriminating against people, but I did laugh when Annalise questioned the guy - paraphrasing here - about why dating should be easier for him and why he shouldn't have to face rejection like everyone else does. Annalise's comments about being dark skinned reminded me again how strange human beings are. Apparently, it's better to be a light skinned black woman, but white women risk getting skin cancer and prematurely age themselves tanning trying to get darker skin. What is Bonnie doing? I love how straight forward Tegan is. She says it like it is.
  24. I'm not sure David has grown a backbone. I've never felt sorry for David when it came to Darlene. You are right he did not have to be so passive. Also, Mark dying, and Darlene and David's marriage not working was no reason for David to bail on his kids. He could have divorced Darlene, and still been there for his children. People do it all the time. I didn't like David's, "I want to hear everything you have to say, but I want to say this first" either. Because David left the room pretty quickly after that. Or his comment about needing a partnership. David did not have to stay in his relationship with Darlene. If he has felt this way since they first started dating when they were 15, and never did anything about it, or never acknowledged to himself that was the way he felt, that's on him.
  25. Loved Adam's, "I had so many chances to get out of this."
