  1. It looks like Vinny might be figuring out that not only is Thomas a lousy friend, he's also psycho. More rewrites. Thomas was not like this at ten years old. Until Thomas blew up Rick's car after Phoebe's death, Thomas was sometimes annoying or entitled, but mostly bland. He got involved with Amber, married Gabi to keep her from being deported, and wanted to work at FC without going to college. Somewhat dumb, but not criminal. Of course Ridge doesn't love you Brooke. How stupid are you? Ridge loves Ridge. Ridge likes having you in love with him. Ridge likes female attention. However, at the end of the day, the love of Ridge's life is Ridge.
  2. Actually, she didn't. That was SF and KKL's goodbye, not Stephanie and Brooke's. When Stephanie's ghost shows up, she still calls Brooke a slut. For Brooke or Taylor to have actually won, they would have had to stick by their proclamations that they were done with Ridge and gone on to live their lives. Instead, they both still want the pathetic loser.
  3. I would miss Ben and Jay Ferguson, but I don't like cheaters (men or women).
  4. I thought in the first season it was established that along with the initial bail, David would show up promise to be around for the kids, and then bail again. Wasn't that why Harris was so mad about her upcoming birthday? Anyway, David left Darlene when she was pregnant and raising a toddler. No way in hell should Darlene be considering getting back together with him. I don't like the way Darlene is treating Ben either so when he finds out, and he will, I hope Ben leaves Darlene and doesn't put up with being cheated on.
  5. I'm with Aunt Jackie on this one, pick Ben. David has already proved, more than once, that he will bail when things get tough.
  6. Welcome back, Bill. You were missed, and damn you look good. All men should have to age as fine as DD has. Ridge, Shana, Liam, and Brooke, you weren't missed at all, and I've seen this SL before. It was done so much better in the past. I can see where this is going to. Brooke will dump Ridge and fuck Bill. Ridge will hook up with Shana. Ridge and Brooke will reunite, and blame Thomas. However, then all those phone calls Thomas was having with Taylor will come into play, and it will be Taylor's fault. At least when Stephanie was scheming, she was on screen. She rarely paid for anything. Yeah, Eric would dump her, but he did that every other week anyway so no great loss there, but she was on the show. Why doesn't Bell just acknowledge reality? There is always another woman in Ridge's life because he wants it that way, and Brooke is stupid enough to put up with it.
  7. If only karma would really visit George and his uncle, in the form of Elizabeth's spirit, and they would kill each other. It would be a win win especially for Valentine.
  8. I don't like Abishola's married sort of not married situation. That tells me at some point her husband will return, and it will be love triangle time. I really hate love triangles. I didn't used to, but now they are everywhere all the time.
  9. This one got a little to preachy. I didn't like that all the characters seemed to believe it was okay to ignore or break laws they didn't like, but wanted to enforce others. It doesn't work that way. I don't like speed limits, but I obey them.
  10. Except Ridge's favoritism towards Steffy is also a rewrite. Ridge loved Thomas, Steffy, and Phoebe. Ridge was okay with Thomas blowing up Rick's car because Ridge blamed Rick for Phoebe's death. Ridge and Thomas not liking each other, Ridge supposedly not being their for Thomas when he was growing up, and Ridge leaving Taylor and his children for Brooke are all retcons. They never happened.
  11. I could get on board with Thomas and Steffy hating Brooke if the writers would stick to what actually happened. Brooke did chase after Ridge the entire time he was married to Taylor, and Ridge turned her down. Even when Ridge believed Bridget was his daughter, and Brooke tried to use her FC shares to get Ridge away from Taylor, Ridge turned Brooke down. If that was the reason, Thomas and Steffy hated Brooke, I would be fine with it. However, that's not the narrative Bell keeps trying to sale. Ridge never left Taylor for Brooke. Taylor died. I wish Ridge had had sex with Shana because once again this is going to be a SL where it is supposedly someone else's fault Ridge and Brooke breakup when in reality the problem with Ridge and Brooke's relationship has always been Ridge and Brooke.
  12. So because his marriage didn't work out Dex should take him back? Guy does what his family wants, and marries someone else, you move on and find someone better. Living well is the best revenge and pining over some guy who supposedly loved you, but married someone else because he was to weak to stand up to his family, is dumb and a waste of time.
  13. Inconsistency if par for the course on B&B for all the characters and SLs. It's not just that Bell and the writers expect the fans to forget what happened 10 or 20 years ago, they expect the viewers to forget what happened last week. If the current narrative contradicts previous SLs, they don't care, and they don't want to hear about it if the fans do care.
  14. That would at least be consistent with what Bell and the writers have been trying to sell for the last couple of years, which is Steffy seems to be the only child Ridge cares about, maybe poor dead Phoebe to, but Phoebe is rarely mentioned.
  15. I understand wanting to help or protect your child, but there is a point when you cross over into enabling your child to be a sociopath criminal, and Ridge crossed it a while back. I will also say I am disappointed with what the writers have done with Hope because they make it seem like Hope needs Brooke and Liam to fight her battles for her. Hope got one scene of getting to tell off Flo, and Thomas off when he was unconscious, and that's it. Again, the fall out from this SL has been so lame. What's really annoying is there was no real follow up to Liam telling Flo she didn't just watch him and Hope grieve, and their marriage fall apart, she watched their lives fall apart, and did nothing. After that, crickets. Bridget was a nice person, but she was allowed to get angry and defend herself. I enjoyed the hell out of everything Bridget said to Brooke, but what was even better was Bridget throwing Deacon out and burning his stuff. I doubt any woman on the show would be allowed to do something like that now.
  16. Forgot to mention what I really liked - Dex nailing the hot detective. They were so gorgeous together.
  17. It actually started out about the father being a widower who no longer had his children (three daughters - college, career, married getting divorced) living at home. Then Carol and Barbara moved back in, and it was no longer an empty nest, and that happened in the first season. The dad can date, and still be a good guy. They could do a reverse Charlie Harper. Wade doesn't have to nail every woman he dates, and treat them like crap. The connection can just not be there. Although, they shouldn't do that with EVERY episode.
  18. I hope they aren't planning on adding anyone new to the cast. They have to many characters as it is. I don't know how anyone could date long term let alone marry Bonnie or Christie. They are way to high maintenance. Fun to watch, up to a point, but live with, no way in hell.
  19. The only characters I am interested in are Bill and Douglas. I don't want Bill saddled with whiney boring Katie. If Douglas wants to shove Thomas off a cliff, I'm all for it.
  20. I liked it enough to keep watching. I like Dex. Don't like Sue Linn. However, what I dislike the most is woman still hung up on dead guy who did what his relatives wanted him to do and married someone else instead of Dex.
  21. Empty Nest lasted for years. This show could to. They can still do the children don't like who dad dates plots, or the children like who he dates, but she's not the one for him. There's also the women he's dating don't measure up to his wife that died plots. I like Walton Goggins so I will keep watching.
  22. Thomas actually managed to sink to a new low. I've heard the crap Shana is spouting before, and I didn't buy it when Brooke was saying it. Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke are terrible parents now, but at one time they weren't. That was back before Brooke started screwing her daughter's husbands, Taylor was shooting people in the back, and Ridge HAD NEVER ABANDONED Taylor and his children to be with Brooke. However, it seems Brad Bell and the writers are hell bent on trying to sale their revisionist history, and trash every single character on the show. Lying isn't a crime? Seriously, that's what they are going with? Guess what, accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice are crimes. Flo, Thomas, Xander, and Zoe are horrible people, and they are criminals.
  23. Please let Katie and Flo both died, and have Shana kill herself, or you know, Thomas could finally be useful as a psycho and kill all three. He can kill Donna to. Four idiots, one psycho. Why does poor DD keep getting drug back into this lame SL? Bill and DD deserve so much better.
  24. Taylor started out working at the hospital as a doctor, and Brooke was working at the hospital in the lab. The show was better when everyone didn't work at FC. I'm amazed that FC is still in business. Besides all the sabotage committed when these selfish jerks don't get their way, I don't see how FC can afford to pay so many people who never do any work.
  25. Bell and the writers never miss an opportunity to insult the viewers.
