  1. More bad news: In the Nov. 4th issue of Soap Opera Digest this is what Brad Bell had to say about Steffy and Liam, "Meanwhile, Liam takes baby Beth to share Halloween night with his ex-wife, Steffy, and their daughter, Kelly, and these two star-crossed lovers exchange secrets and fears, adore their daughters and take great joy in their 'forever' bond."
  2. I would actually find it hilarious that someone was chasing Brooke's husband (karma) if it wasn't going to eventually lead to yet another boring Ridge/Brooke reunion. Any sympathy I might have had for Hope is gone. If they really believe Thomas is a danger to Douglas, then call Karen and Bill, call the authorities, don't play games with a fucking psycho. Shana knows how to play to Ridge's ego.
  3. Someone, anyone tell me this god damn spoiler has got to be wrong. Why, why, why are they doing this? Spoilers indicate that Liam is unhappy with Hope's plot to get custody of Douglas, that he finds out Steffy is dating, and decides to stay at Steffy's house longer than planned. I don't think JMW is going to be happy about this. Her most recent interviews indicated she was tired of the Liam/Steffy crap. I don't blame her. I am beyond tired of Steffy/Liam/Hope, and have been for a very long time.
  4. I hope they do. I would say they couldn't get dumber, but they will. I hate when in order to move the plot along, the writers can't figure out anything else to do except make all the characters be idiots.
  5. Oh joy, an entire episode of Ridge and Brooke whining about their idiotic relationship. What moron thought that was a good idea? So now Ridge and Thomas are freeloading off of Eric instead of Steffy and Vinnie. Since Vinnie is staying with his girlfriend, does that mean Zoe is staying at Vinnie's apartment all by herself?
  6. I forgot to mention - Ned is a hypocrite. When he told Kitty, "You are my wife. You stay." My only thought was, "Punch his lights out Kitty." This was true of a lot of abolitionist. They were against slavery, but did not see the slaves as equal to whites, and women of any color were not considered equal to men.
  7. I was trying to decide who was dumber Drake or Geoffrey Charles, then Drake won by a landslide, only to be outdone by Ned and Ross. It's a good thing Dwight and Caroline have functioning brain cells. Demezla, stop giving that bitch chances. Ross would not have won that argument in parliament so easily. To much money is on the line, and human greed trumps just about everything else.
  8. Chemistry is subjective. I never saw any chemistry with Bill and Katie. However, what kills most couples on soaps for me now is everything moves to fast or drags out forever. A couple can only break up so many times before I simply don't find them believable. I agree on RM and Ridge. I never thought RM was a good actor, but he did have a sort of charm and caring that current Ridge lacks. When the show started, Stephanie was not a nice person, but she had layers. By the time SF retired, Stephanie was written as a one note caricature, and only SF's acting abilities kept Stephanie interesting. While RM, HTylo, and KKL were good as their characters were originally conceived, they don't have SF's talent. Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke are horrible people, and the writers ruined one of the few things they had going for them - they were good parents who loved their children. That hasn't been true for years. I will also never understand why Brad Bell narrowed the focus of the show to a few characters fighting over the same guy. That is 99% of the show. Two pathetic women fighting over an even more worthless guy.
  9. If Rafe died, or was on the point of dying, there would endless weeks devoted to the other characters saying what a great guy Rafe was/is. Kill me now.
  10. But Brooke will want Ridge back. She always does. That's another reason this SL is so lame. Been there done that a million times. If Brooke, Hope, and Liam were serious about getting custody of Douglas, and Liam clearly had reservations about that idea, and I don't blame him, Brooke and Hope went about it all wrong. Also, it's not fair of either Brooke or Ridge to expect the other person not to be there for their children. Unfortunately, Ridge and Brooke are enablers, not good parents. Then again, how would either Brooke or Ridge know how to teach their children the right thing to do. They don't know how to do the right thing themselves. Out of Rick, Bridget, Thomas, Phoebe, Steffy, Hope and RJ, Bridget and Phoebe were the only sane and nice ones. We don't know about Jack because much like Brooke, the writers have forgotten all about him. Poor Douglas is the adult out of all these selfish idiots. Douglas who did the right thing when none of the adults would. Douglas who worries about Thomas and Hope's feelings. Douglas is a better person than all of them. That reason alone is why none of them deserve to raise this child. Douglas deserves better.
  11. I have finally figured it out. Harold is the real Katerina Restova. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
  12. I'm still trying to figure out why Hope and Brooke thought trying to strong arm Thomas and Ridge was a good idea. Liam pointed out it was a mistake to pressure Thomas, and they didn't listen. When Liam is the brains in your operation, you've definitely got problems. Don't get me wrong. Liam does have some good qualities, but neither Liam or Wyatt have Bill's brains. I can see where this is headed. Hope will be sad, upset, and crying all the time, and we'll get another Liam scene telling Steffy Hope is miserable, but Steffy is fun. {face palm}
  13. No, Taylor wasn't drunk. Brooke thought Taylor was drinking, but she wasn't. Brooke took Jack and left. Taylor could have had Brooke charged with kidnapping. The scenes today were good. It's to bad the only character I cared about was Douglas. Why have Karen and Bill not played any part in this SL?
  14. Brooke never wanted Nick or Jack, she just didn't want Taylor to have them. Liam tried telling Hope and Brooke over and over again why rushing into adopting Douglas was a bad idea, and they wouldn't listen to him. Now Ridge will use this as his excuse to go running to Shana. Once that happens, Brooke will forget about everything else, and want Ridge back.
  15. Bill had some good points about Flo, but I did not like his criticizing Sally. However, it's Bill, he doesn't pretend to be a good guy, so I always enjoy him. Still laughing at his, "Where do I get on the list to buy an organ?" to Katie's doctor. I will take Bill over all of the rest of these hypocrites any day. Especially since DD is so damn fine.
  16. Finally, Bill is on. I know Bill can be a jerk, but he is hilarious. Ridge, Thomas is playing you like a fiddle. Brooke and Hope, you are idiots. Liam actually managed to articulate his concerns about adopting Douglas - color me shocked.
  17. Is it? Liam and Hope's relationship failed in the past long before they lost Beth. Of course, that would be yet another reason why maybe if any of them had any functioning brain cells, they would have walked away and stayed away years ago. Also, yes like Ridge, Liam has never had any real competition, but that hasn't stopped Hope from running to other guys. Again, this situation would not exist if Steffy, Liam, and Hope didn't put up with it. Wasn't Steffy claiming back when she proposed to Hope for Liam, that she was going to change the way she did things. Where is Steffy now? Right back where she started.
  18. Liam doesn't get a pass, but neither does Hope, and Hope was the one telling Steffy she wasn't going to just hand Liam over to Steffy this time. Instead Steffy proposed to Hope for Liam, then Hope did exactly what she said she wasn't going to do and sent Liam back to Steffy. Much like Ridge/Taylor/Brooke, this situation wouldn't exist if Steffy and Hope didn't put up with it. Apparently, Liam loves Hope and wants to be with her. So he's hoping she doesn't bail. Isn't that exactly what Steffy, Hope, Taylor, and Brooke have done for years, or in the later cases, decades? Hoped that this time, the guy would stick around, and not waffle back to their rival? So this time Liam is in the position Steffy and Hope usually end up in. Except that Steffy and Hope are also both still in that position to. Again, a situation that wouldn't exist if all of these people didn't continue to put up with it. Yet more reasons why Douglas would be better off with Karen. Maybe subconsciously Liam knows that.
  19. In the past I would have dogged Liam for being a spineless waffler (and that's putting it nicely), but Hope was the one who ended their marriage so she could marry Thomas. The only reason Liam and Hope are back together is because Douglas told Liam the truth. Otherwise, Hope might still be with Thomas getting the deer in the headlights look and panicking every time he mentioned sex, and Liam would be living with Steffy, Kelly, and Phoebe/Beth like Hope wanted. Maybe the reason Liam isn't jumping on the "we need to adopt Douglas now" band wagon is because he's waiting for the other shoe to drop, and Hope to bail again. If Hope bails because she breaks a nail, and Brooke decides she doesn't want to upset Ridge, that leaves Liam dealing with psycho Thomas. I am perfectly fine with Brooke and Taylor being called out for what they did to Bridget and Phoebe, and some of their other selfish despicable choices, but that doesn't have anything to do with Douglas' custody. I don't care how many guys Taylor and Brooke screw. It's their stabbing their daughters in the back that's wrong. Also, if you don't respect someone else's relationship or marriage, don't expect them to respect yours.
  20. Deacon and Hondo are hot. All men should be required to look this good. Yummmm!!! I really like Deacon and his family. I hope they don't go the TV route of splitting them up. Tan winning the Tan/Street argument was hilarious.
  21. I don't like George, but I blame Ross for Elizabeth's death to. Ross raped Elizabeth, and it was her constantly trying to ally George's suspicions about Valentine being Ross' child that lead to Elizabeth taking the drug she did. They are both responsible for Elizabeth's death.
  22. Liam was making sense when he told Brooke that Douglas has been staying with him and Hope, Thomas at this point hadn't objected and Brooke shouldn't have rocked the boat. Thomas didn't get all fired up to go get Thomas until he got tipped off about the adoption papers. Brooke has a point about Thomas being dangerous, but Liam was also right when he thought they should continue to let things ride. The longer Thomas is away from Douglas, and the longer Douglas stays with Liam and Hope, the better chance they have to make a case for abandonment. First, however, they really should have contacted Karen and Bill because them being on Liam, Hope, and Brooke's side would have worked in their favor. Although, I don't know why Karen would want her grandchild around any of these idiots. Now, Thomas can go wave those papers at Ridge and Steffy, Ridge and Steffy can protest and be the bad guys, and Thomas can be all, "I want Hope to be Douglas' mother, but my family does not want me to sign away my rights, woe is me, I'm poor psychopath, what should I do?" Brooke is making rookie mistakes here.
  23. Steffy looks better with her hair pulled back from her face. Oh Hope, if you only knew what Thomas was saying to Zoe about you like two minutes ago.
