  1. I liked Steffy immediately jumping to there being another woman in the picture with Ridge. I just wish we would get a scene of Steffy saying to Brooke, "You mean chasing my father like you did when he was married to my mother, engaged to Caroline, and engaged to Ashley, or do you mean stripping down to her underwear and begging my father to have sex with her like you did when he was married to my mother?"
  2. This was bad. These are the kind of dumb antics I expect from desperate attorneys, not judges, and definitely not in a criminal proceeding. I'm glad Marg called Carmichael out on her behavior, but it wasn't enough. Guy attorney should have just stuck to the facts, and not wasted time lecturing. The video showed the idiot man trying to hit the woman with his car. To prove assault, all he had to establish was action on the part of the man that put the women in fear for her life or bodily harm. He had that with the video.
  3. I guess Steffy is the only one who has learned anything. She was actually the smart voice of reason today. I would agree with some of what Ridge is saying if they hadn't gone so far with Thomas, and if Phoebe had not been forgotten for years. Now suddenly, everyone remembers Steffy had a twin. Why can't I have scenes with Bill that don't include boring pathetic Katie? Flo may never forgive Thomas? For what? Stupid twit. Brooke, grab a fucking mirror, you just slid past hypocrite, you stupid whore, and straight into Bitch Please territory. ETA: If all these mentions of Phoebe means she is going to turn up alive, I'm okay with that. Stephanie could have hid Phoebe away because she was in a coma. They did it with Angela and Taylor. Then maybe there would be a legacy child on canvas that wasn't a selfish jerk. Of course, then Bridget would probably never be heard from again because having two nice characters isn't possible.
  4. Damn, I actually agreed with some of what George said to Ross about Elizabeth. "We hounded her to an early death." Poor Valentine. Between Ross, Demezla, and Dwight, I was expecting all of them to be arrested and imprisoned before the end of the episode. I did laugh when EVERYONE decamped to Cornwall. Especially, at the we'll go to Cornwall, away from London, everything will be okay there. I was like, "You all do realize you are on an island right? It's not like you are heading off into the wilderness."
  5. No, she didn't. David and Jimmy knew about each other. Roseanne forced the issue and made Darlene choose. Even after Darlene chose Jimmy, David kept insisting Darlene should choose him. I'm still baffled as to why Darlene is considering getting back together with David. I guess they will be one of those on-again off-again couples that I really hate.
  6. I'm watching for Cobie and Camryn. Why does Dex have to have a OTP? Maybe she prefers playing the field because having a steady significant other can be a royal pain in the ass.
  7. Supercouples happened by accident, and then writers started trying to create them. However, at one point, if a couple, character, or SL wasn't working the writers would back off and try something else. Now they continue to force the issue. If the fans don't like something, instead of trying to fix it, they tell the viewers they are stupid or to watch something else. I guess there were possibilities with Gabi/Stefen, Eric/Nicole, etc., but the SLs were botched from the very beginning.
  8. I thought what happened with Mark, Austin, Darlene, the Grandmother, the school, etc., was very realistic. Years of saying it's not okay to discriminate on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc., has not resulted in everyone going, "Sorry, my bad, you're right." Not only, are there still a lot of bullies, sexists, and bigots out there, there are also people who simply don't want to hear about it because they have other priorities. I wonder if the grandmother's comments about all she will have to deal with in raising her grandchild will make Becky and Darlene think about the position they have put Dan in. Grandparents and great grandparents have been raising their grandchildren for decades. It's not fair to the grandchildren or the grandparents.
  9. When she returned, Hunter Tylo wanted a different SL than Taylor being married to Ridge. She didn't want Taylor to go crazy, and shoot people. Original Taylor didn't care what people thought, including Ridge and Stephanie. Taylor didn't like Stephanie. When Taylor got tired of Ridge's games, she dumped Ridge and started dating Storm. Taylor had reunited with her ex-husband, Blake, when she found out he had been scheming with Stephanie, and she broke up with him. In order to keep dragging out the Taylor/Ridge/Brooke triangle, Brad Bell turned Taylor and Brooke into pathetic doormats. They should have paired Taylor up with Thorne when she was pregnant with Thomas instead of ruining that SL by having Thorne drug Taylor and take her cell phone away from her. I hate that poor Bridget was stabbed in the back by both Brooke and Katie with Donna cheering them on. It would have been nice if just once Bridget could have gotten a little happiness. Bridget had to leave town in order to get to enjoy her life.
  10. Unfortunately, Brad Bell and the writers are stuck in the dark ages so Thomas the psycho will get a free pass, while Steffy, Brooke, Taylor, any female character on the show, will continue to have every mistake they have ever made dredged up while continuing to pine for men that aren't worth it. I really dislike the things the writers have had some of these characters do, but what I really hate is the woman can't get over a guy no matter how much of a loser the guy is because women are pathetic that way message this show has been sending for decades. I believe Hunter Tylo, RM, and KKL were hired for their looks, and the writers wrote to their strengths (serene beauty, charming, vulnerable). At least when Brooke whined about being in love, destiny, soulmates, I bought her being that immature and careless even when she was in her 40s and 50s, but no I don't believe the lame Stephanie impression at all. Stephanie believed she was RIGHT about everything even when a million other people would tell her she was wrong. Brooke knows she's wrong, but doesn't care because she wants what she wants. Early on Taylor was more subtle about getting what she wanted. Now Taylor is just psycho. Although, I don't believe original Taylor ever would have gone psycho. Taylor came back from the dead the first time, Ridge was married to Brooke and chose to stay with Brooke, and Taylor didn't go crazy. Brooke was actually the one who had a mental breakdown at that time. Bridget was revealed to be Eric's daughter not Ridge's, Stephanie was trying to get custody of Rick and Bridget, etc. Again, I don't know how the hell Stephanie had any right to get custody of Eric and Brooke's children. Also, Eric gave the children back to Brooke so why bother with Stephanie trying to get custody in the first place. The same thing happened with Stephanie, Ridge, Brooke, and Hope and RJ. Which I guess means Stephanie was kind of right, Eric and Ridge are spineless weaklings. If they stepped up from the get go, things might never get this far.
  11. Call me crazy, but good old fashioned physical torture has been known to work even on people trained to withstand torture, so all the yak yak yak, I'm going to do this to make you talk, just annoys me. Try pulling out a few fingernails, and see how tough the person in question really is, then simply up the ante. Once you start chopping off body parts, lots of people get very cooperative and chatty.
  12. That will probably be better than any explanation the writers do come up with especially since Red coming out of hiding and requesting to work with Liz, and sending Tom to stalk/watch her is what put her in danger in the first place. Although they will probably retcon that at some point.
  13. If Bell or the writers are trying to make Brooke more Stephanie like, it will never work. Susan Flanary was an excellent actress, and KKL isn't in her class and never will be. No matter how wrong, hypocritical, or completely standing on quicksand, Stephanie was, SF always sold Stephanie as believing her own BS and having no sense of irony when she was lecturing someone, or scheming. I remember when Stephanie was doped up in the hospital possibly dying in her effort to save Felicia, and she still had time to tell Eric, she thought if she handled things their marriage would work, but all she had done was let Eric be a weak selfish loser, all while still insisting Eric was the love of her life. Priceless.
  14. When it comes to dealing with Sheldon, I make some allowances because it's a sitcom, and some because it would be difficult for parents to handle a child that is so academically advanced. However, there are thousands of very intelligent gifted children who are raised to be polite and socially adaptable so a lot of this is on George and Mary. I say both of them because there have been times when George has asserted himself, said he will handle Sheldon, and did a good job of it. It's probably easier to give into Mary, and let her deal with Sheldon her way, but that is not good parenting by either Mary or George.
  15. Dembe is still damn fine. Yummmm!!! Megan Boone is still a terrible actress, and I hate Lizzie. I love that Katerina is intelligent, feared, and dangerous. However, I'm wondering is Katerina the blond who is torturing Red, or is she really looking for the actual Katerina Restuva. I want Mr. Kaplan to make an appearance.
  16. It looks like Steffy is going to make a few snarky comments, and then all will be forgiven. Thomas is still a lying selfish sociopath. Why does Ridge have to live with Steffy? I wonder if Thomas and Douglas are going to be moving in to? Outraged wives showing up at your door, slut, liar - I was going to ask Brooke if she had amnesia as well as being a hypocrite, but then Shana got to remind Brooke about what she really is. Of course, Brooke being Brooke, she handwaves that away as destiny, soulmate, whatever. I guess Brooke was trying to be Stephanie there, but it was an epic fail.
  17. Some establishments have rules about employees/servers not having to put up with abusive customers, but yeah, most people, do put up with a lot because they need the tips.
  18. Whether Douglas ends up with Karen, Ridge, or one of his other relatives, Brooke has no say in it. She can't dictate to Ridge or anyone else who should get custody of Douglas.
  19. When it comes to Ridge, Brooke is reaping what she's sown. Brooke was obsessed with getting Ridge. She spent decades doing whatever it took to get him. Why would Ridge respect Brooke? Ridge is going to hook up with Shana, and not give Brooke a second thought because he doesn't have to. Brooke will come crawling back. She always does. This is Brooke's destiny. Being Ridge's doormat. Bill's lies are actually what ended Steffy and Liam. For whatever reason, Liam was going to go back to Steffy until Wyatt told him Steffy was still screwing Bill. Then when Liam found out Steffy wasn't still hooking up with Bill, he called off his wedding to Hope, and returned to Steffy. When Hope turned up pregnant, Steffy proposed to Hope. It's to bad the writers didn't move forward with Bill and Steffy. That would have been more interesting than another round of Bill and Katie. I still hope Katie dies. There are other options for Douglas than Liam and Hope. Options that make more sense. Why Brooke thinks she can dictate to Ridge who he should tell Thomas to give custody to baffles me. Perhaps I should replay her previous episodes of B&B in which in the end, Brooke always ends up begging Ridge to pick her or get back together with her.
  20. I hope Laurel is the FBI informant. That would be the most interesting thing she has ever done. Frank was foolish for going to see Laurel's dad, but he was smart for getting rid of the drugs and not going along with Analisa's plan. I hope Bonnie and Frank are starting to think about their escape plan to. I'm glad this is the last season. It's starting to be like Scandal. These people have piled up way to many crimes and bodies to keep going like they have been.
  21. Jill is in good shape whether she can actually do all that exercise routine herself or not. I was on Christy's side in this one. No one should have to put up with an abusive customer.
  22. I think both Mary and George could do things a little bit differently that would make a difference in their marriage, but there is also a certain point at which nothing either of them could do will save it. At this point, Georgie is actually shaping up to be the adult in the family.
  23. Oh Brooke, you pathetic idiot. You know what's unacceptable? Screwing your daughter's husbands. Bridget had her life and marriage torn apart to, but you didn't give a damn because you were the one ruining Bridget's life. You are such a hypocrite. So unfortunately, while I detest Ridge, I also despise you, and wish both of you would drop dead. Even if Thomas did agree to sign over guardianship to someone or give up custody of Douglas, why do Brooke, Liam and Hope think it would be to them? Karen is a much better choice.
  24. Why doesn't Thomas do what he told Vinny he was going to and rent an apartment? It sounds odd to say this about a drug dealer, but Vinny is way to nice. I don't know why he puts up with Thomas' crap.
  25. I would like for them to have addressed more of what Mark's supervisor was pointing out to him. They are all back logged, and they can't take that much time out for each case. It sucks because justice shouldn't work that way, but it's realistic.
