I hoped the scrapping with Kate would lead to the two of them being good at business together and I wasn't disappointed. Funny, I don't often notice augmentation but I worry, as someone mentioned back, that they shaved enough or how long a wax lasts, not that I know. Well, this is from yesterday but I did a pantry dinner. I had a few tomatoes and spinach from my little pot garden on the deck. I used the tomatoes along with a half leftover 29 oz stewed tomatoes (I'm really sold on them they're so sweet) and a can of sauce and some "Italian seasoning" (I prefer to mix my own) to make a sauce. I had a partial box of lasagna noodles and a new one so I boiled 10. I bought ricotta for this and had colby/jack to use up with egg parsley and garlic. The spinach was blanched and I rolled up the noodles to make lasagna rolls. I had extra tomato sauce and blended it with the T or so of sour cream I had left to make the best tomato soup I've ever had. I thought doing rolls would divide into freezer portions more easily.

Thank you. While the rich and beautiful play on the beach the people piled in the shantys are shockingly poor. I'm glad they were aware too as well as the show. I really just wanted a couple of episodes with TMZ. My take on the Norman Bates comment is that they went a shot of his face and the hair and face shape did look like Norman Bates for a second. I can't imagine they were making any judgment about his personality having just met. If anything, they probably picked up on the overbearing mom more. Put that together with the face and there you go. I didn't take it as mean. Still, you know TMZ spent no time doing swimming, running and climbing training, let alone puzzles. Count me in among those who think sliding puzzles are a horror, especially ones without words as clues. I'm also with some of you on the obnoxious green hat. I hope he loses it. It seems to be a thing now on reality shows where people try to stand out by wearing one piece of annoying clothing all the time. They know it's annoying but they think they'll be remembered. The kids on MC Jr even do it. I usually try to watch the show a second time because I miss things like the neck pillow but no DVR and last time I checked CBS makes you pay for access online these days. I was so happy for the little people cousins winning the volley soccer game.

Adrienne was just as clunky on Another World. I have to admit though, I thought she and BD lit each other up but she did the right thing and is trying to work on her marriage now that Justin is finally agreeing to do so. I like her for calling him out on wanting to go after any Dimera anywhere and I could slap the smarmy grin off his face into next week. He's getting bad direction. I think losing the JE/BD romance had to do with FS leaving the show. They would have been on opposite sides of the WilSon marriage, that's what I was expecting. Yeah we can't depend on Days timelines seeing as there was a lot of teleportation today. From under the bed to out on the dock? How could he leave tonight without thinking about how to get rid of the red tie box without Failure seeing? There are still people who think EJabby were hawt hawt hawt.

I was torn between Vytas and Abi but when it was pointed out to Vytas that nobody wanted to see him push his "idol" in the air at camp I'm glad he's gone. I was hoping for Abi though because as I recall, Vytas is a competitor but unlikeable. About the bracelet, I read a long time ago they're allowed one "luxury" item and if that was her's it probably meant more than an ugly watchband looking thing. Maybe someone gave it to her. I'm not as big of a fan as a lot of people here, I had to miss a lot of episodes through the years and now I understand CBS charges a subscription fee to see their shows. But I recall finding Woo a hoot. He was amazing at physical challenges and as I recall most people liked him. I'm liking Kaos Kass too although she's clearly embracing the nickname. UO I know. Like I said I don't research this show so feel free to disagree. I still like the younger Kelley and Kelly seems cool, too. Someone said everyone was put on a boat without warning in the clothes they were wearing. Still, I think it's smart to go in with a little weight but being fit. Some of the women in particular were scary thin through the years and it really turned me off to the series. Starvation isn't fun to watch. FWIW the tree looked dead to me. It's much harder to split green wood by hand but Fish should have known that. ETA I thought they were given a lot of fire making tools because everyone is saying how damp it is in Cambodia. So if you have a Joe who can make fire maybe it's not so easy the next time.

I think we have Chabby because the original intention was - don't laugh - to make her and EJ a couple. Pregnancy included. Speaking of, aren't we about due for a pregnancy complication? Gawd forbid. As has been said many times, she doesn't need to get married. Clearly Failure doesn't want to leave but Jenn thinks she's protecting her by telling her to be miserable and get out of town. Well, ok then. I can see her thinking keeping quiet protects JJ from getting found out because Failure is not one to keep her mouth shut. If Abby becomes a Weston, Creepy will be looking at JJ forever. Sheesh, Jenn, do something! The women of Salem need to start listening to that little voice that says "bad touch" and avoid him at all costs. I laughed when Gabi didn't recognize her father because I hadn't seen the actor in years and I didn't recognize him either! But certainly she knows better than to engage a strange older man in conversation. Or maybe she doesn't. Rafe will have to tell her about Paige soon, I would think he's decent enough to think she'd want to be at the funeral we'll never see but I hope do.

Well, I'm sticking with the show, there are a few duds in every season and I get that this wasn't funny. I don't mind a show that's a bit more serious at times. However, I thought this episode fit better as a part 2 of the season ender. Yes, that's what a cliffhanger is (ha, I almost said avalanche) but the end of S7 left a bad taste with the retcon of "cheating". The fight in the car should have resulted in them just spending a fun weekend and giving up the marriage idea for the time being. I think it if had been shown the end of S7 it would be clear that this wasn't the "real" wedding. It could have ended on the trip back home and left it up in the air as to if they'd work it out. I don't expect an annullment but I expect a big wedding sometime the end of this season. Of course they have to have a wedding with their friends. Possibly involving Amy moving in as she's wanted to for a long time. I don't want a quick fix to their problem. In the meantime Raj returning as a roommate would be hilarious. That would definitely result in some tension between Raj and Amy. More Cinnamon! Jeez I wanted his pet stroller. People have been complaining for years that Amy should dump Sheldon and now that it's happened I'm satisfied but I get it some people aren't. I must have been getting a beverage because I missed Mary's appearance. I missed her a lot last season. I'll have to find a way to rewatch, I don't have a DVR or cable. Maybe CBS has it. I know HULU doesn't. On a shallow note I know Kaley took a lot of heat last year over the short haircut. They made it look cute by the end but this year it looks like a helmet, frosted they way they made middle aged ladies look grey back in the 80's. I was hoping she'd find middle ground on the hairstyle. She looks good in almost everything but the dress screamed Valentine's Day. I know she isn't going to wear the poofy white dress she had a dream about, then she turned to kiss Leonard and she was 9 mos pregnant! As for Leonard, I don't think his hair could absorb any more dye and he's better avoid rubbing up against a wall or something. I dunno, while stalker Sheldon isn't funny I did laugh at him staring in the window. I love it that Howard and Bernadette Rostenkowski Wallowitz live in mom's house. They tried to throw Stuart out last year. The show needed someone to throw more one liners, so be it. Kaley does an animal rescue commercial and I recognize her voice instantly. The voiceover acting idea would be great for her character. I've been saying for years she needs to be moderately successful in her acting career. I'm glad she has money now but I don't like her as a suited pharmaceutical rep. Didn't she quit or am I misremembering? I only was able to catch S7 in reruns.

Oh gosh I hope it helps. I recommended the bottom veggies for a gravy because the juices drip in and you can strain it and thicken it for a gravy and moisture is a good thing on a lean roast. Good luck!

Well, I just have a couple of ideas. Is it boneless or not? Does it have a nice fat cap or is it very lean? I'd score it a bit and rub the rub in and let something that big sit on the counter for an hour. It'll help get it up to room temp so it cooks more evenly? I'd start it at 400 until you get some browning on top then turn the oven way down to 325 or so and do something that large slowly and tent it, like I do turkey. I think a rub is a great Idea. I made myself crazy too researching rubs and in the end most contain salt, pepper, brown sugar, cumin, a bit of onion and garlic powder and I crush up some oregano. You could go sweet or have a bit of a kick. I'd probably add a bit of chili powder and have something sweet on the side like glazed pineapple because fruit goes so well with pork. My cookbook says 20 min per pound, take out when it's 155 and it should rise to 160. Be sure to let it sit. If I wanted to be sure of moist I'd roast it with your typical onion, carrot and celery wedges and start off with a little water on the bottom. Set the roast on the veggies. You'll want to start temping it after about 90 min, and rotating once or twice but opening the oven door a lot will make it take forever!

ALenore if you start a chive plant you will have chives forever. I started mine from seed what, 17 years ago now, and every time my son mows under my window the entire room smells like chives! Granted some "escaped" into the lawn. We're zone 4 so they can take a hard winter. That reminds me I need to make a compound butter with some for the freezer, I've mentioned that before. I planted scallions one year from seed and they came up for the next few years. OK, the sesame seeds don't get to me but the chicken thing does. I can't afford organic but the bonless/skinless frozen ones have at least 8% "solution" listed on the package. These days I can afford the economy bag of chicken leg quarters only, and even those have gone up, but they make a great chicken soup and it's hard to overcook them on the grill. (Guess what's for supper?) When I was little my mom used to get us something called cubed steaks that had little holes punched in them to tenderize it I guess. Well, they weren't and I used to hide pieces in houseplant dirt because it sort of looked the same to 6 year old me. I wonder if she ever found out. We moved into a real house when I was 10. Before everything got set up she had a corning ware hot plate with matching cassorole dish. She made spaghetti the first day (I'm really happy I grew up before jarred sauce) and to this day I can smell those onions and garlic sweating in butter. Of course I still have the hot plate.
