I’m still interested in reading the remaining books in the main series (no spin-offs like Dunk and Egg) because the TV show ended so poorly. It’s not that the endings for each character was bad on its own necessarily (although I don’t think there’s a world in which Arya killing the Night King makes sense or brings any satisfaction), it’s that none of the endings made sense given the character arcs on the show. Also, there are several characters that I find vastly more interesting in books (Jon Snow being a prime example) so I’d like to see how they get to their destinations since they’re such different characters. For what it’s worth, I didn’t start reading the books until just before the second season of the show aired but they had been on my “to read” list since around the publication of the third book so I probably would have ended up reading them at some point anyway.

Stassi and Jax had been broken up for a bit before Kristen slept with Jax. It’s still breaking girl code because hooking up with a friend’s ex is not good either but it’s a much lesser violation.

Let’s not forget James was the OG of sleeping with a cast member to get on the show. He openly admitted that he only dated Kristen to become a cast member. One of many reasons I’ve never liked him. It seems fitting that his next two girlfriends are doing the same to him.

For some reason I thought Rachel was there first and Scheana came in for the second half. Either way, I think the most likely explanation for her not having a photo is that they did them all at the same time and she wasn’t there because of the restraining order.

I wonder if they did these poses when Rachel wasn’t there because of the restraining order. Scheana is there and she wasn’t dressed in her reunion dress until right before she went on stage.

Is it possible to change the title of this thread to the correct season? It’s season 10 not season 7. Lala, Katie, and Kristina were being awful to Rachel on that trip. If I didn’t know what was coming I would have felt bad for her. I almost did in spite of myself. Rachel turning out to be an awful person doesn’t in any way justify their actions. Lala, in particular, was on some undeserved high horse. Her excuses as to why what Rachel did was so much worse didn’t make any sense. Ugh, I hate that they’re making me have sympathy for Rachel. I know that it’s been reported that the affair between Sandoval and Rachel started at guy’s night but it’s clear from the way he looked at her that there was already something going on. Maybe they hadn’t gotten physical until that night but clearly there were already feelings. The flirtation, at the very least, had already began. They’re both such assholes. Ariana has been nothing but nice to Rachel (even going easy on her about the Schwartz thing when it’s clear she disapproves) and Rachel pays her back by sleeping with her partner of nine years the day after Ariana’s dog dies. Hopefully karma comes for them both.

Schwartz hasn’t said anything publicly. Kristen recently called him out on Scheana’s podcast for talking/texting that he disapproves of/isn’t happy about what Sandoval did and being upset but then doesn’t back his words up with actions. Not a surprise given his past behavior. Also, not sure if it’s been reported here but Kristen was spotted filming VPR and she put her podcast out a little late because she had to make edits because of Bravo, something she wouldn’t need to do if she wasn’t under contract. It makes sense to bring her back. She was there the night Ariana found out and appears to be very involved in the fallout. She and Ariana are apparently friends and the three of them (Ariana, Sandoval, and Kristen) have that complicated history. Plus she’s tangentially connected to Raquel because they both dated James.

I think I remember reading that Teddy and Tamra were looking for a third host to do the Real Housewives of Orange County recaps now that Tamra is back on the show. Did they ever find someone? If not, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rinna ends up being their third host. Best Housewives casting news in a while. If only they would get rid of Erika too.

Kim was fired the same season Brandi was.

Brandi only got fired because the only housewife who would film with her was Yolanda. Andy loved her. He and production didn’t care what viewers thought.

I was done with LVP after watching Vanderpump Rules. She is seriously insufferable on that show and one of the reasons I stopped watching (her presence on it significantly increased once she left RHoBH). But after this season, I can see no more perfect addition to RHoBH, especially if she replaced either Rinna or Erika or both. Their heads would explode, there would be epic meltdowns, and it would be marvelous to watch. I would think it would be worth it even for those who don’t particularly like LVP and wouldn’t miss her otherwise. Plus I think LVP’s dynamic with Kathy would be interesting to see (they used to be friends, not sure about now), especially if Kathy is still on the outs with Kyle. Those two could form a formidable alliance. LVP is also friends with Garcelle and I think she and Sutton would get along too. Bring back Denise, and I think there would actually be a pretty decent team to counteract whatever remaining members are left from Fox Force Five. Crystal can come too. I know LVP wouldn’t come back unless Rinna, Erika, Kyle, and Dorit were all gone (and that’s never happening) but it would be the perfect comeuppance for all of them, Teddi included.

Garcelle has been the MVP of this reunion so far (although I think Kathy might steal the title next week), but I was bothered by how she said it. She could have been nicer, and she should have been if she and Sutton are friends. Instead of just saying yes, shrugging, and saying it’s the truth, she could have said something like “sometimes but I know she’s coming from a good place”, or whatever feels true to her. Garcelle was really harsh and I felt for Sutton at that moment.

I’m a huge advocate of the Oxford comma. I was taught in high school that it was completely optional, and despite the fact that most people didn’t use it, I stubbornly insisted on using it. It’s not useless. In many instances the use or disuse changes the meaning of the sentence. There was that case a few years back where some truckers in Maine won a lawsuit against some companies because the lawmakers did not use an Oxford comma when drafting a law about overtime. It was great. I felt so vindicated.

This is exactly how Kyle was with LVP when they were “friends” (had an alliance). She always acted like a victim that had to defend LVP because they were friends. I see a lot of parallels between Kyle’s dynamic with Kathy and Kyle’s dynamic with LVP during the friendship years. I’ve noticed that Kyle has repeatedly said very passive aggressively how she knows how hard it was for Kathy to apologize. Almost every time she brings up the apology she slips that in there. Forgive your sister or don’t but don’t forgive her and then make petty comments.

I started watching Days of Our Lives when Krista Allen was Billie so she’ll always be Billie to me. I remember looking up who the original Billie was and being disappointed because Lisa Rinna was no where near as pretty as Krista Allen (I actually thought she was unattractive). I also liked Rinna when she first joined the show. That stopped when she backtracked on the Munchausen’s comment. While I thought her diagnosis was wrong (I never thought Yolonda was making herself sick), I agreed with her that Yolanda was clearly exaggerating things and using her illness conveniently. Using it to get out of filming things she didn’t want while still showing up for the things she did, and using it to explain away her bad behavior like calling someone an asshole. I, along with a lot of the TWOP posters at the time, were so glad someone in the cast was saying what we had been pointing out from the beginning. That things didn’t add up. Then Rinna backtracked and, even worse, blamed LVP, instead of owning her words. I have no doubt LVP was manipulative, and behind the scenes I’m sure both she and Kyle were saying similar things about Yolanda but were unwilling to say it on camera, but Rinna is a grown ass adult, and though she clearly suffers from some personality disorder, she is not intellectually disabled. She is responsible for what comes out of her mouth. Ugh. And my opinion of her has only gotten worse. Fire Rinna. #notmybillie

I don’t think Harry Hamlin is so nice and normal, not after listening to his behavior during his divorce. They covered his relationships on one of my favorite podcasts, Trashy Divorces. Here is the Harry Hamlin episode for anyone who is interested. They’ve also done a few housewives but I haven’t enjoyed those episodes much since the hosts don’t watch the housewife shows and I disagree with their takes on those relationships, particularly their take on Bethenny Frankel.

I was thinking about it from the perspective of the actual victims. You think it doesn’t hurt them when someone supports Erika publicly? If she has had a change of heart then disavowing Erika is the right thing to do by them. But sure, if Eileen is only thinking of herself then the logical thing to do is to stay silent if she doesn’t agree with Erika’s behavior. Personally, I think she still does (or at the very least doesn’t care) which is even worse. We can agree to disagree on this point.

But it wasn’t the very beginning. A lot of things had come out at the time she was supporting her. Why should she keep her mouth shut now? If she’s changed her opinion then it would be the right thing to do after publicly supporting and standing up for someone who has said and done the things Erika has. Eileen clearly doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut because she stood up for Erika on multiple occasions in the face of her viciousness and callousness towards both the victims of theft and her fellow housewives.

She was defending Erika last fall and hasn’t made any statements disavowing her support. She’s also liked her Instagram posts more recently than that. Until she makes a statement that her views have changed I have to assume she’s still supporting her. If she was still defending her a year ago after the Housewife and the Hustler came out, after the L.A. times released their article, after Erika showed zero empathy for the true victims and posted that awful cartoon painting herself as a victim of the widows, orphans and burn victims, I’m not sure what’s going to convince her.

Eileen has also stood by Erika during all of this mess. Even after everything that has come out. It’s one thing to say “I believe my friend didn’t know what her husband was doing at the time” but to continue to support her (as Rinna, Kyle, Dorit, and Teddy all have) after she’s said and posted really obnoxious things about the victims and shown absolutely no empathy for them says something about the character of the person standing by them and that includes Eileen. Until she makes a statement disavowing Erika she will remain unlikeable to me and I want her nowhere near this show.

@Avaleigh Was the lunch scene with Sutton and Lisa in the last episode Rosè Colored Glasses the same one that you saw filmed? Lisa also mentioned another meeting (maybe a brunch) that she filmed with Sutton that wasn’t shown so I wondered if it could be that one as well.

I present Dorit speaking in 2013: There is a hint of an accent in some of her pronunciations but nothing like the accent she has now and has had her entire time on the show. And, yes, she and PK had been dating for a couple years at the time of the video.

What’s really scary is that the camera does add ten pounds so in real life Stassi is even more of a skeleton. I grew on the west side of L.A. and regularly saw celebrities out and about and I can tell you without exception they all look skinnier than they do on screen and in photos.
