  1. Can anyone who still has this (or any other episode) still on the DVR confirm that, at the very beginning of the credits, the flip-board thing that resolves into the show's title displays the date to which they are returning in that episode? I thought so but forgot to go back and check after I was done watching.
  2. It is, per IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0549837/?ref_=tt_cl_t3
  3. Agree - but then what to make of the fact that the menu on which the code for the meeting with Tyrell was written was called the Red Wheelbarrow BBQ???
  4. Yes, though the colors of University of Michigan are, officially (and somewhat snobbily) known as Maize and Blue. That's what the colors of the outfits were. In addition to Kristen Bell's Michigan connection (she is from Huntington Woods (Detroit suburb)), Mike Schur was born in Ann Arbor (home of U of M).
  5. Mary Jo White (SEC Chairman), I bet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Jo_White
  6. And did you catch when she was standing in the background with the bowl while Grace and Babe were talking? She almost ate some, went "Oospie," and put the spoon back in the serving bowl. I totally got a Violet flashback when she did that.
  7. It's the same font. https://blog.nelsoncash.com/the-typography-of-stranger-things-e35771f40d31#.8dngk8taq
  8. I <3 you for that reference! ;0) The only way to win is not to play....
  9. She said shite, schiesse, and shit all in this episode.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA *back to lurkerdom I go*
  11. From the linked interview: "Looking to the science of the episode, you had two doctors, Anne Simon and Margaret Fearon, who were credited with you for the story. What kinds of discussions were had about the vaccine conversations? They’re responsible for all of the science of the episode and walking me through it. Even as I was shooting, I was calling them and going, “What if I say this? What if the character says this?” When the actors are having to say so much dialogue that is scientific, and they say, “Can we say it this way?” I’d go, “I want this to be realistic. I don’t want this to be just made up science.” So I’d be calling Anne Simon and Margaret Fearon saying, “What do I do?” when there was a problem. They were all-important to helping me come up with the story, and walking me through it every step of the way." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  13. Probably has something to do with the fact that the Eccleston episodes were first broadcast in the States by SyFy - wonder if BBCA might not have the rights.
  14. All I can say is thank God Patrick Stewart didn't age like Picard did in "All Good Things." https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CV4XR51VAAAronE.jpg:large

  16. TARDIS in the Library: https://gfycat.com/CooperativeHonestBighornedsheep Doctor Who references in Leverage (from http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/ShoutOut/Leverage): The team's aliases have a tendency to reference Doctor Who; given that Hardison presumably arranges all their fake IDs and is canonically a fan, this is almost certainly no coincidence even in-universe. In one episode, Nate and Sophie's cover IDs are Tom and Sarah Jane Baker; instead of Tom Baker, Nate could also have chosen to be Peter Davison or Sylvester McCoy. In another, Nate uses the Tom Baker ID again, while Parker (the young blonde one) is Rose. Eliot and Hardison get into a police precinct as detectives Moffat and Davies in "The Three Card Monte Job". The Doctor Who references continue! In "The Frame-Up Job," Sophie introduces herself and Sterling as Agents Tennant and Smith. In "The White Rabbit Job", one of Sophie's aliases is Sally Sparrow. One more Doctor Who reference is the name of the law firm the client worked at in "The 10 Li'l Grifters Job": Paul McGann, McCoy and Baker. Another Doctor Who reference is when Parker asks Hardison about his bow tie in "The Radio Job" and he replies "It's a bow tie. Bowties Are Cool". And for one last time in "The Long Goodbye Job", Parker's alias is Tennant and Nate's is Baker.
  17. Isn't this Episode 7? If not, what happened to Episode 7? I'm confused (doesn't take much, though)...
  18. Putting on my (actual) lawyer hat for a minute: Here is a link to Florida's law on spousal privilege: http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=0000-0099/0090/Sections/0090.504.html Basically, it says that privilege applies to "communications" between spouses (this includes non-verbal communications). Either spouse can assert the privilege, but there is no privilege if the case is between the spouses or one of the spouses is a defendant in a case involving a crime against the person or property of a child of one of the spouses. There is also no privilege if one of the spouses is a defendant adn wishes to proffer testimony of a communication to support the defense. So the show got it right. The actual (verbal) communication between Milos and Petra about the grenades is a (verbal) communication, and his opening the cases to reveal them is a non-verbal communication (if she had opened the cases herself on her own initiative, there would have been no communication). In any action against Milos, he could assert privilege to prevent Petra from sharing the communication (either spouse can assert the privilege). Obviously, he would not want to proffer testimony of the communications, as they implicate him, HOWEVER, if Petra was the one being prosecuted, there would be no privilege and she could proffer testimony as to the substance of the conversation (no privilege because she is a defendant and wishes to offer the communication in evidence to support her defense).
  19. Anyone else catch the shout out to The Maltese Falcon? The names of Anthony Edwards' and Ivan Martin's characters (Cairo and Gutman, respectively) mirror those of Peter Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet. Does that make the Bullitt Mustang the stuff dreams are made of?
  20. I checked the info on the episode three times to make sure it wasn't a re-run before I realized that the Octavia-Spencer-as-Harriet-Tubman I was remembering was from 30 Rock.
  21. Picked up by Netflix: http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/netflix-picks-up-longmire-for-season-4-1201360562/
