Herschel was a veterinarian and maybe Im seeing it from a southern, poor white trash point of view. My dad was an alcoholic, when he didnt drink, we had a nice life. When he did, we lived in a cold trailer with rodents in the walls and bugs every where and if not for food stamps, we would have starved. Ive never been more than the very bottom of "middle class" but I know this, dad did not drink long enough for me to go to college, first two years on his dime, the rest on mine. I have family members that resent that about me and think Im some "high class bitch who dont know her ass from a hole in the ground" (actual quote).

I dont think Darryl will ever really give up the class war. Remember he went off on Beth of all people, insinuating she was some high and mighty queen bee when she and her family were only SLIGHTLY "higher class" than Darryl and in fact, if Herschel had not given up the drink when he did and for as long as he did, no doubt his family would have been the same strata as Darryl. Darryl will die before he can give that one a rest, growing up that poor, under circumstances that mean leaves a mark on some (of us) a mile wide and 20 miles deep.

Yes they are complacent if they just waste electricity like that! I mean I can see having monthly "movie night" or "video game night" or "disco night" but just sitting, inside, playing nintendo instead of being outside, building something useful or even just exercising,that pissed me off a little bit. Edit to quote Brokenremote "If the community was built to run all those McMansions off the grid, then their system can handle video games." Point taken, I'll let it go.

Also, even with the solar power, using electricity on frivolous things like video games would just have to be pretty much forbidden except for maybe once a month or something.

What was brilliant though was Carol started playing the "helpless, meek matron" thing BEFORE she even met the congress ctitter! Look how "awkward" she was acting when disarming! That was soooooo good!

I found it interesting that Rick said that to Carol and Daryl, not Michonne.

I love this show so much! I know that wasn't the end but man, those final scenes with Cole and Cassie were tearing me up! Great show, glad I started watching it from the beginning.

Well Remember in the comics, when they first got to Alexandria Rick took up with a lady that was already there, she had a son close to Carl's age. When the walls came down and the leader of ASZ shot Carl in the face, Rick had been with that lady and was trying to help her escape the throngs of dead ones. I suspect THAT will be the "new love interest" this time around. As far as who will really fill the role of Andrea vis a vi Rick's love interest? Maggie is a great bet, Sasha would be super cool and yeah, in my heart of hearts, I'd love to see him with Carol.

Im not on a mobile device but this website never let's me "like" anything. I asked on the tec forum about it and one helpful poster said I should just be extra careful to only click the like button once..........yeah I've been doing this online thing for a long time now, I know the difference between clicking and double clicking, I click it once, I get an error message telling me "there was a problem storing your rating please try again" so I mentally tell the poster "good job!" and move on. Maybe one day, maybe one day.
