  1. Looking back, Lane just had issues and it didn't help believing she had to hide her passions from her mother who was a bitch to pretty much everyone. A father who was constantly working (or not wanting to be around his angry wife). So, in the long run, I get where Lane was coming from, but at the same time, the hell? She was in her mid teens by then and a virgin, how did it ever make sense?
  2. Ryan's death was an out of nowhere and sadly a bit true of a kid pretending to play with a real gun. It's Rigo that still rubs everything wrong. His wife cheated on him from the time they were married and constantly. He knew it, other people knew it, but instead of divorcing her ass or getting counseling, he beat people up. Then they all just hand waved it as: "well, I did sleep with his life." Then Pruitt revealed Rigo had anger issues since his father died, who was under his command when he was first a captain. Then they go kill him off because: "I won't listen to Jack." Plus Maya instead of getting them separated or sitting Rigo down and going: "Why the hell are you married to that cheating manipulative bitch?" She just let's him continue working. Then of course, Eva is all "sad" with Rigo's death, but hey here's some life insurance money. All good and now let's never speak of you again. It was so half assed and then when you give us a character we love, have seen since day 1. Goes out heroically it isn't as emotional because we just dealt with two previously deaths in less than 6 weeks. So, it feels like they are wiping the board of characters for a knee jerk. Since the show is getting another season, I be happy if they take Dixon, Eva and Dixon's in the closet son with them in a massive fire too. We won't miss them.
  3. That's the problem they really can't go back. Even if Tom's ex showing up with her lookalke son who is "not" Tom's was to have him finally make peace with their son's death. It just doesn't work. Tom also knew about the baby being Owen's, and the fact that Teddy was being a chicken shit to even tell Owen for months. Then you add in this entire 9/11 crap and now Teddy and Tom are suppose to be flipped. So, what? Tom is Teddy's one true love like what was going on with Allison and Claire? It doesn't work at all. Even if they did have plans according to Krista about the truth of that relationship finally coming to both Owen and Tom's ears. It would have painted her worst and also would leave Owen going: "You named our daughter after your dead lover?" "Fuck you, bitch!"
  4. The real problem is given Tom's history and he what lead to his own marriage falling apart. Somehow saving his non-lookalike son made him think that everything between him and Teddy could work. What would keep her from finding some small thing that would make her leave Tom for someone else. Hell, I could see if Tom's ex-wife came by and went: "Ok, I lied, he is your son, I found out after I left you I was pregnant." With Teddy going: "Oh no, he'll leave me to be with his Unknown son." Or some crap like that. Like everyone has started, no one knows that Alison is named after her dead lesbian lover. Who was the girlfriend of her former best friend who they were cheating on behind her back. The one who "called Teddy" and not anyone else when she died in 9/11. Tom and Own will be both like: "What?"
  5. Interesting they end on a cliffhanger and the show won't be back until the fall. Since Fox is going to give the show a season 9. Even more funny is they lead to Kristen having the baby and Boyd was only in 1 episode the entire season. Still, Ryan has pretty much proven to be a big of a baby himself. Good luck Kristen, let's see how well you can raise: a man child, 13 year old and a new baby.
  6. Krista talks about the season and what was planned for the last couple episodes and hopes for season 17. https://www.yahoo.com/amphtml/entertainment/grey-anatomy-season-16-finale-020137988.html
  7. That's exactly it, same with Teddy's reasons to go finally sleep with Tom after "thinking" the baby could be Owen. When a) it was Maggie doing her panic talking (more reasons why she can't be a doctor. b) she had NO PROOF it was true, especially since Amelia wasn't even sure. c)after learning she was more in love on the other side of the road 20 years ago, she shouldn't have EVEN TRIED TO BE with men, if she felt of the love of her life has been long dead. Same with everyone thinking that Richard had magically turned into full blown alzheimer's with almost no early warnings or anything. That he basically lost it one day and as Jackson perfectly said: "You could tell he was depressed, he lost his job just to have it stuck to him." Yet, no one thought about seeing if he would talk to a counselor or anything. It was poorly handled just like with Deluca. After all these problems, no one still would march him down to the shrink until he was crying and telling Meredith: "I don't know what's wrong with me!"
  8. How true, even when you complain "I will never be like them." I mean my wife talks about how much she hated being yelled at by her father and how he wouldn't accept anything unless it was staring him in his face. Yet, she does it too and I even point it out and she hates the fact she does it. Of course, I'm just as guilty, I don't learn to stop talking like my mother or then get upset when I feel left out like my own father and my brother. Yes, you might realize it, but sadly we do take on our parents/guardians habits both good and bad. I also can understand that The Goldbergs are still drawing from the real Adam's life, but it's getting to the point where it's really veering off reality. Especially, with Erica, at least with Barry both on the show and on Schooled they are having it get into the medical field and doing well in it. Erica is still bouncing between singing and who knows what.
  9. Problem with metal poisoning is it start and not show signs for months. Sometimes it can happy right away. The reason why mercury started becoming a more regular tests was because of dental fillings they were decaying in people. There were tons of people getting sick or health took major nose dives out of nowhere. Some doctors finally realized that the patients all had dental fillings. Up until 10 years ago, it was not being tested as much. Lead and iron poisoning are the most common types of poisoning. Mercury being the third. HOWEVER... cobalt poisoning is happening more due to hip and knee replacements. In the last two years medical offices now look at those types of surgeries because more reports are happening. So, Richard's replacement not being figured out until later, made plenty of sense. However, say this was in a few years. That be one of the first things noticed, but like I said earlier, when replacements start decaying. The person is having problems walking and standing, and yet this wasn't happening at all. Not until the fact he felt numb all over and yet was in pain if anyone squeezed his limbs. Yet again, if it was record that Richard had the replacement that would come up much, much sooner. Once Deluca made the diagnosis, everyone else was: "Aha!" When really it should have been: "Wait! Richard had a replacement three years ago."
  10. Great seeing everyone again. Great to see everyone still in good health, I also see Ben ran into the same issue as me in the hair department. Always, loved hearing Niles.
  11. Also, I do not understand why magically he started being unable to talk. I mean it was like they hit a certain season, he was now older and he couldn't talk anymore. Never made sense, I also remember when they had him doing his "Trump Speeches" during his and Manny's senior year to become student president. He sounded like someone had punched him in the mouth when he spoke. It was really bad.
  12. That exactly it, and they have portrayed Schmitt as this big baby since he showed up. I mean he would constantly pass out at the sign of blood. He wanted to be a surgeon? I was happy that someone and it being Owen of all people told him to either get it together or SHUT THE F UP! I guess it makes sense, I mean his father walked out on him and his mother. He was an only child. He only went to med school because his secretly closeted uncle paid for med school. Yet, some how as we learned when Nico "enlighten" him that he was gay. He somehow was able to sleep with women and was very book smart. However, for all his "issues" and feeling patience's' pain, he should have been a shrink or something. The show thought it would be funny to have a doctor who doesn't "act like a doctor" and apparently like the actor. Yet, they continue to write him like a moron. Speaking of morons, good to know that NOW they are going to bring Deluca to a professional and find out what is wrong with him. WHICH SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED 5 EPISODES AGO! Yet, his own sister was busy taking time off to go have a vacation with her fire captain on Station 19 or talk sex stories! Bullshit! If that was my sibling I would have been marching him to the psych ward, calling our mother and saying: "We have a really big problem! My worst fears are happening." Yet everyone was: "Go home and think about this." Plus, lack of sleep is very damaging to a person who is bi-polar and yet here was Andrew constantly getting no sleep and breaking and yet it was: "Dr. Deluca you done bad, go to your room." WTF? The Catherine smack down, was beautiful. The one thing however I will call out on Richard is he knew the hand tremors were starting and didn't tell anyone. So, he had his own faults and to being diagnosed with metallosis made plenty of sense. I knew a person who was hit by that himself and he got very loopy, people thought he was getting dementia. Metal tests were coming up negative until a nurse realized he wasn't walking correctly. Sure enough the doctor saw they had a hip replacement and figured it out fast. That was the big hole in the story, if the hip replacement was turning to sludge, Richard would have been walking horrible or limping more. As for Teddy and Tom, just never wants to stop. Hell, after this Owen should just swear off women in general and marriage forever. Tom still with his: "I won't be that guy." to "Run away with me." Is BS too. You know eventually they are going to have Teddy's "gay lover" come out sometime next season and someone will most likely Carina will probably end up her new lover and dump Maya and it will be "tru lurve!"
  13. I was getting a kick out of the "old guard" including seeing Officer Winslow (Reg Johnson) during the poker game. However, I agree with Pruitt, he went out doing what he loved doing and did it for those he loved. I really did like his speech to Maya how they were all screw ups and he took them in because he knew they could be family. Especially, when he knew he was a screw up himself. I do agree that Dixon also proved how bad of a fire chief he was. I feel like half the Seattle Fire Department would rather have Station 19 members die. Sadly, it's a plot borrowed from Chicago Fire. How they had a fire battalion chief angry at them, they either had them fighting the worst fires or just make sure they didn't get certain calls. Even for the sake of drama, can the just have a fire chief who doesn't start or end up like an asshole?
  14. That was a very fair and true critique and it was very true. Also, mentioning the danger of being on TV too long. All those other shows they mentioned fell into the same problem. There are a few on now where they have reached a point where it needs to either start wrapping up or given a dead date no matter if money can be there in the long run. Yeah, it was really be season 7 the show started going down hill. Somewhere in the middle of season 8 is when it started to become painful and season 9 was just horrible. Season 10, they wrote it like it was about to be their final season until everyone was: "We need one more year, come on money and a great way for us to wrap it up." Then it was just about the money.
  15. Yeah, I think the show like many others never worked out the "before the pilot" details for the characters. Something with the show being on for 7 years and what they revealed on all of them. You think they have more background, but at this point the show has basically said: "They are people who dealt with addiction and abusive most of their lives." "They are lucky if they can tie their shoes based on the trauma."
  16. Phil: "Luke I am your father." "I use to do that all the time to your mother's legs when she was pregnant with you." Haley: "Oh my God, dad!"
  17. How about the other facts - You can be a straight A student and be attractive, but will always been told you don't get things and will always be a stereo type - You can be borderline special needs, but everyone will think you are cute and even have a successful career where you know, you have to have a brain to function. Especially, in this current age. - No matter how prone you are to "understanding the modern age" you will still act and depicted as never using modern technology like automatic sinks or Amazon Echos.
  18. How true, of course they took it too far in the reboot on Netflix where Gadget was reduced to an idiot that saved the day just by tripping. Also, going to the point that his gadgets never worked and side kick was able to do EVERYTHING!
  19. Haley still works for that Flake company that is suppose to be based off Gwenth Paltrow's company. She got promoted by telling her even stupider boss: "Well, I have been here a while and I want to stay with the company..." "Ok, I'll promote your senior manager." That's why it didn't make sense when Dylan was working and Haley got this promotion how they were going to live in a garage missing a roof. I mean, they could afford at least a one bedroom.
  20. Yes, and that's not a good thing.
  21. That's the problem with Prequel series. They want to try and give origins to things, but then go about making it look like they are COMPLETELY different people. Both Mix-ish and Young Sheldon show that for some odd reason these characters are just going "turn into these people" when nothing is hinting or has been talked about WHY the characters ended up like this. I reminds me of the best criticism that was given by someone to Mike Judge when King of the Hill went off the air about Bobby and Dale. Saying after getting all the background for 12 years, how the HELL did the characters turn out the way they were. Judge just responded: "It's how we liked writing them." Basically saying: "Who cares if it never makes sense."
  22. That was the biggest issue. "Oh my kids are more important than my two nieces, especially with one about to go to Middle School." DJ should have brought up to how he is ignored all the time, while his wife is on active duty still. Maybe Bev would like her other great grand child to start having some fun at her age. It was so stupid.
  23. Yes, why no one blinked an eye. In fact just three episodes ago, Claire was trying to get Phil to get rid of it until she realized: "This is all he has left of his father and it's in pretty good shape. Let's keep it." Its when you have it where the kids who apparently don't know how to clean or go shopping on their own. Despite the fact that Alex up until being guilt-ed in quitting her job still had to go shopping for the basics and so forth. Can't do it either. Luke who has shown how to order food, or pick up things in past episodes all of a sudden is with Haley on making croutons and formula meals? Never think for one second: "how are mom and dad eating out there?"
  24. That's the problem with most shows, especially sitcoms, they all go: "Yeah we've been on X-amount of years, but our characters haven't changed, even if they have aged and done things most people natural are in life, but F-that!" Alex was still belittled or made to feel bad that she is smarter than everyone else. Haley still acts like she is 17 and in high school. Luke still can't put 2+2 together. Gloria complains how much of a man-child Manny became, but then reveals she loves the fact he can't live without her. Mitch no matter how much he hates where Cam grew up and how more dysfunctional his family is and "obsessed" with "the farm". He HAS to go with Cam, even though Mitch has been unemployed and quit more jobs than Cam ever has. Ect. TV series want it both ways, they want to say that characters have "Grown" and moved on, but then write and show the complete opposite and then call it: "our brilliant writing". Yeah, with an entire year to wrap the show up, everything felt rush since about 3 episodes ago. It wasn't like they were told mid way: "This is your last season, so wrap it up." If anything, season 10 felt more natural, but oh no, TPTB convinced ABC and Disney that they "needed" one more season to wrap it up and it would get more money in syndication. Yeah, good to know.
  25. I think it would have worked better if all of a sudden, Claire and Phil getting their wish and even flashbacking to season one where Claire told Mitch and Cam: "Come back in 7 years when they are all gone!" They could have had Claire go: "it took 11 years... not the day is here." Could have been a real emotional moment, and then they have all three come in acting stupid and it was like: "Thanks, cheap joke." The dog video with the three was better written, performed and emotional. Also, flooding wouldn't happen that fast down south and if there was that bad of a super cell storm to create both a tornado and flooding. Locus would be very far away.
