Everything with Ross at the university was stupid and wrong. Let's list shall we: Dating a student who acted like she was 16 and not 21 Not given a faculty parking area and took an HOUR to get to his classroom NEVER writing any papers or doing research He ended up at the university because his dumb ass director was eating half his lunch and throwing it away because he could The student that tried to get out of a bad grade pretending he was "in love" with Ross He only got the job because he was technically fired from the museum after he said he was trying to teach at college level before the series even started Why did he NEVER grade any papers Even seeing it on streaming or reruns, the really turn Ross into this guy who couldn't catch a break or wrote him as a moron instead of someone who won scholarships and got a PhD is a really, really hard field. Of course everyone else on the show was: "Who cares about your job Ross, it's stupid!" I would have liked to see them try it.

For the season yeah, but I'm sure we will hear her sing again at some point next season. The question is after the constant beating us over the head of Vic's "neglectiful" parents and all the Maya drama with her father. Are they going to show up next season? I actually would love to see the half-ass reason why Vic's parents, especially her father was so hellbent and working 24/7 instead of dealing with the failing health of his mother, missing ALL of Vic's events and why Vic's mother just went along with it.

The problem was, the bomb in season 2 was an accident. Pac North, they are setting this up as a series of bombs and they find one left. Because you know, Pac North was a cursed hospital. -
I agree it was a great series. I really wish it would have gotten another season.

It's funny because we are basically piecing together what the missing 3 episodes are about and we are getting what actually happened to Pac North after the buy out in the Station 19 finale. Though, funny fire fighters are going in when there are "known bombs" instead of the damn bomb squad first. -
You also have to love the fact that a community college auditorium, a bowling alley and let's not forget the high rise from season 1. WHERE ARE THE DAMN SPRINKLERS? Why are they not turning on? Yet, seriously, how was he going to save that piano and why would he? HE didn't say earlier: "It's my husband or father's or mothers, ect." He just runs up with: "Must save it even though the entire stage is on fire, oh no, me on fire!"

Plus, the original flashback with Maya in high school and how she attracted to her friend was to show when she first realized she gravitated towards women too. The problem is I keep feeling that more that either Station 19 or Grey's wants to be "all inclusive" with everyone. They hit us over the head that when couples who are gay or bi are always constantly after each other to do it where ever they are. I do remember many tweets on Twitter going: "I don't know who writes this, but my partner and I are not itching to tear our clothes off all the time. Hell, not even when we were first together." -

How true and now trying to make Carina part of the Station 19 cast is not working either. Hell, she was too busy being on the mini vacation with Maya to be around for Amelia to have her baby and the fact she was Amelia's OBGYN. Making it really question what the hell she really does as a doctor? She comes across as some sex crazed social working talking about "The Joys of Sex" then someone who went to medical school and has helped "hundreds of women have babies." It's like us trying to figure out how Dixon or even Ripley EVER made it to Fire Chief. Dixon basically bribed and black mailed his way to the top and then the City Council acted like this was like a BIG SHOCKER and then seeing Ripley the past two seasons in flashbacks before they killed him. The man really made some very stupid mistakes in the field and honestly him originally killing Sully's wife who was ALLERGIC to the stuff he gave her and was told flat out it would killer her. Didn't listen and he was up for his interview for section captain as he said. That would have cost him the position right there. But nah... why use reality. -
Right and you just saw ONE SCENE of her looking upset as he did that public display of having a breakdown. Plus EVERYONE then got the story he is most likely bipolar and what happens? Bailey puts him on suspension and basically tells him to go home and think about it. Then learns that he was acting crazy, but was RIGHT about the human trafficing and what happens? Nothing in fact when he shows up to try and help Richard. He once again gets "no sleep" which causes his episodes. Yet, everyone is still: "Oh that Deluca." Even more, Carina should be much more concern, this condition with their father cost his marriage, almost got his license taken away SEVERAL times. Carina even admits she gets tested regularly. Yet, Andrew constantly showing symptoms and of course loses it several times. What does she do? Talks about the "magic" of masturbation ALL THE F-ing time! and worries about sex herself and can't keep her hands off her boyfriend/girlfriend as they have beat us over the head she is bi but prefers women more. 10 to 1 after her Maya break up, they will throw her with Teddy after the revelation she is closeted bi herself. I would like to know why they think gay couples constantly making out and having sex is such "must see TV' when at this point, no one cares.

Exactly! Becky was NEVER like that. Plus, the way Ed Jr was brought back and this entire "rewriting of history" on everything MADE NO SENSE! What about Ed Jr's sister? Oh wait, much like Jerry and Andy, and even Fred, they are long forgotten. Including it seems Dan NEVER worked for the City. He has just been making one bad decision after another and the rest of the extended family have just been complete losers. Now, they have Jackie making up stories that she had an affair with Dr. Suess? It isn't funny, these people all act like they lived underground their entire lives.

I know, be interesting since the real "Eric" Goldberg became a doctor too.
-
Barry also admitted a the previous episode how Erica's friends always seem to hit on him and why he gets the wrong idea. As Erica says: "Why don't you leave my friends alone?" Barry: "Why don't they leave me alone?" Which is true. I also will admit I had a friend in high school who's younger sister (a year younger) we were attracted to each other, but we decided to respect the sibling rule. She still ended up marrying another mutual friend of ours and they are now going 16 years married and have three boys.

Ruby taking care of Devnote? I thought Junior was the only one doing that, oh right plot over continuity.

The writers have tried "too hard" to show how inept Cooper is. Just like with Tripp being so stupid that he can put on his clothes, but doesn't know what kleenix is really for. The writers want it both ways and the actors are great with comedic timing and delivery. However, then you get it where as proved with Oliver in this episode. They just throw their hands up and give up instead: "No, no... let's try this again, I'll write it down." Or: "Tripp, seriously, did people not teach you homophones or name accents?" "Auto can be with an O, people have first names with Otto and yes, Tripp is usually spelled with one p." Instead they either yell or roll their eyes and never DEAL WITH IT!

Past Seasons Talk: From Seattle Grace to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital
readster replied to maraleia's topic in Grey's Anatomy
I always found it hollow when Derek told Meredith about "I have responsibilities" about Addison, when their marriage was pretty much threw. Plus, the fact that Addie thought she could just turn back time, couldn't tell him Mark was living with her, she was even pregnant with his child. Even in that odd dream that Meredith had a few years ago, who's baby was it? It was Mark's... again. I loved Addison, but like everyone else on the Grey's Universe shows, they were obsessed with sex. -

Right and it was apparently suppose to be tied in with the human trafficker victim coming back. Which would have made sense, she never had her hernia fix and should could have easily keeled over and someone rushed her to the hospital. Of course, great to see Carina is such as "caring sister" about her brother. Oh no, off to get my hands on my girlfriend, I need sex or to talk about it. She needs an Own smack down like he did with Schmidt over how stupid he acts. -
The problem is, that's ALL they write Carina as. They want to then throw in: "I really came to Grey's because my brother might be bipolar since it runs in the family and he has been showing signs for years." Yet, when he does have a break down or has been acting odd, where was Carina? Off talking about masturbation, going on a mini vacation with Maya. Instead of telling Bailey his history and dragging him off to a doctor to get diagnosed and also medication. Oh no... sex, sex, sex.

That would work, but when have either Dan or Roseanne ever mentioned an equity loan. Dan and Iggy couldn't get a small business loan back when the bike shop first came into being.
-
Yeah, somehow Ruby has these investments that no one knew about and starts making money out of nowhere. At this point, Ruby has no reason to still be living 'free' of charge at the house. It make more sense if both Junior and Zoey were gone and the twins were gone too leaving Devonte. However, Ruby AND Pops have just mooched off Dre and Bow all these years.

Yet, Greg won't tell a certain social media moron to take a hike. They have hammered it our heads he just wants a father figure and the university just wanted to get rid of him, so they placed him on Greg for his next book.

I know, you think she start taking an ax every time she saw a grand piano. "You got my mentor/director killed! You stupid pianos!" At this point, just have her parents show up and then have Vic just yell at them since they have Maya going: "no, my father never touched me, it wasn't abuse!" They pretty much painted Vic's parents as neglectful to the point you were waiting for the state to take Vic away. Last episode of Grey's, Owen told him to either shut up, get with the program or get out! He was tired of it too and even wondered WHY he even went into surgery or be a doctor. He used to pass out by the sight of blood. His back story is: his father left his mother, his uncle (who was secretly gay) paid for him in medical school. Found out he was gay and the surgeon who he was in love with decided to dump him (who hadn't come out to his parents either). Notice a pattern along with Everett Dixon?

Plus the fact the police didn't question: "Why is a teenaged girl living by herself?" Plus they would have checked to make sure the pot she had was "legal". They didn't make it at all funny and shows why cops get bad reps.
-
Right, Taylor being hit with sleight of hand, that made the most sense and they did of course show it that Taylor had been screwed. As for Cooper, I get he has no concept of money costs, but it does get to the point where you wonder if one day he is going to have "no money" from his parents and he will be in for a world of hurt. I really do hope that drop Oliver's "My real rich family" coming for me after this. That needs to die.
-
Passport for a baby takes even longer. Yeah the show has not only skipped any logic or tried to tell us, the audience: "it's a comedy, just laugh and ignore anything making sense." Three's Company had more logic thrown its way.
-
Right it is up there with Cooper not understanding basic math he would have learned in 1st grade. Just like Tripp doesn't know homophones (where two words sound the same but are spelled and mean something different). Like how he still thanks the Otto family's name is spelled "Auto" like a car. Where both Greg and Katie has just given up on it. Or how someone like the principal could still have a job at the school where he would have been kicked out years ago because he barely knows how to write a letter. It goes too far and the writers are just: "Until they tell us to stop, we are doing it, haha!"
