  1. I know Jensen, Karl and Jack but is the 4th guy Antony Starr? I feel like it is but he looks so different from Homelander that I never can tell.
  2. IMO Jensen should have bailed in 2012 when he was offered the role of Hawkeye instead of being loyal to SPN. He would have been contracted to 6-8 Marvel movies and his star would have skyrocketed. It would have been exactly what they deserved.
  3. I loved the Bunker. After they became older and no longer had Bobby's house as a homebase of sorts it was just depressing seeing them living out of hotel rooms or squatting as they did a few times in season 7 since they were laying low because of the Leviathans. And Dean's joy at having his own room was wonderful!
  4. Yes, his stunt double was playing one of the demons that he was fighting during the kitchen scene. It's the guy without the trucker cap.
  5. If it's any consolation there was apparently a backlash (I wasn't watching live at the time) against Kripke and Co. for calling Dean a dick and he had to clarify that it was just foreshadowing to his confessions of torturing in hell, not that they felt that he was a dick. Total BS in my opinion, it seemed like damage control to me.
  6. Speaking as a former soldier (US Army woot woot!) I agree with this assessment. The soldier description would be more apt for Castiel before TFW and his brethren before they were kicked out of Heaven by Metatron. They were blindly following God's orders. Dean was going by his instincts and skill to survive and get his friends out of Purgatory by any means necessary.
  7. All great points @ahrtee. I truly believe that this will not be the same as the usual CW teen fare primarily because Jensen is involved in the project. I have faith that he will keep it as close to the SPN verse as possible.
  8. One of the many times that Jensen made you feel Dean's pain acutely. Even more impressive once we found out that it was all Jensen and not a stunt double! And honestly Jared really sold Sam's sorrow when he realized that Dean was gone. He seemed even more devastated than when he died in NRFTW.
  9. This is the main reason why I don't understand why so many are complaining about canon. We don't know much about John aside from JDM's brief time on the show (for 1 season out of 15) and comments here and there from the angels or old friends like Bobby and Ellen. As for Mary the most we got for her was after Dabb brought her back and rewrote her story and 2 episodes during the Kripke era. Add it all together and I don't see how we know everything. It's bare bones info, to be honest.
  10. This is not an apt comparison, IMHO.
  11. Perfectly stated. I wish that I could like this post more than once.
  12. That started for me when he made fun of Dean in season 4 for his hell trauma.
  13. In the dvd commentary for Jus in Bello Sera said that she decided that Sam and Dean didn't need the overlying threat of the FBI while dealing with Dean's deal and decided to kill him off. Thank you so much for saying this. I've seen so many YouTube reactors saying that it was only right because Dean betrayed Cas. Ugh. However, Sera apparently decided to kill him off in season 7 because he had outlived his storyline. Supposedly there was a backlash for that decision and they brought Misha back.
  14. Scooby Doo and Buffy were both awesome shows. Sounds like you both liked the trailer!
  15. She was pretty much anti everyone besides Sam from what I've read. She wrote Jus In Bello and killed Henriksen and during her time as the showrunner we lost Rufus, Bobby and she turned Cas into a traitor before (briefly) killing him as well.
  16. Sounds like an episode of Grimm from season 1 "The Thing With The Feathers" though it was a woman with the egg in her throat. Nothing like this ever happened on Supernatural that I can recall.
  17. All the reasons why it's one of my least favorite eps. I never enjoy episodes where they pile on Dean for kicks (which is why I hate the Dabb era) and Missouri was a total ass to Dean right out of the gate.
  18. What's infuriating is that the few times that Dean is allowed to express his anger and emotions it's almost always erased by the end of the episode by an apology "sorry, I was being a dick" "you were right" etc, etc. It's truly frustrating. It gets more prevalent during the Dabb years (shocking, right?) 🙄
  19. IMO Azazel was the show's best villain; he was essentially the reason why the Winchesters were such a broken family before Dean and Sam even existed. My personal 2nd favorite was Abaddon though they could have done more with the character. She was very underused after she was introduced and her death was somewhat rushed after a scant amount of eps during season 9.
  20. I agree wholeheartedly and given Jensen's praise of Ty and Benny in general it's frustrating that they did the character and their friendship such a disservice. Benny along with Victor Henriksen are missed BFF opportunities for Dean IMO.
  21. Completely agree. I haven't watched any of David E. Kelley's more recent shows but in the 90's-early 2000's The Practice, Ally McBeal and Boston Public were definitely must see tv. Big Sky is on Hulu so I'm going to get caught up this weekend so I can be up to speed for season 3. So happy for Jensen!
