  1. I saw that on a vid on Youtube a few weeks ago. It said that the males rarely make it to a year after they mate.
  2. Nice article about the fan reaction to Jensen and Soldier Boy. https://www.buzzfeed.com/amphtml/jessg/the-boys-jensen-ackles-solider-boy-fan-tweets
  3. Some interesting speculation about the ways that Homelander could be taken out. Since he’s eventually killed in the comics I think that his day is coming (not this season though)
  4. Dominique McElligott also wasn't in the collage but I don't see them killing off Maeve either.
  5. I could be wrong but I honestly don't think that they would go that far. If Frenchie were to die then Kimiko would definitely be out too and at this point Butcher wouldn't be enough for MM to stick around. I can't see them writing that in a way that would make sense for them to all go on if Frenchie wasn't there. I don't think that the core Seven or any of The Boys are in any danger of being killed off. Plus with so many fans that love Frenchie and Kimiko's relationship on the show and in the comics it may turn those same fans off of the show.
  6. Kripke said that he's as strong as Homelander.
  7. How about "30 years ago the Russians killed Soldier Boy and took his body. By the way he's just as strong as Homelander so there's a chance that there's a weapon out there that can kill him too". The information may be little but it's still better than nothing.
  8. After rewatching I feel that for all of Butcher’s irrational behavior and rage he wasn’t wrong when he lashed out at Mallory. He was right when he pointed out that if she had advised that there may be a weapon that could kill Homelander he might not have gone down the path that he has, Becca would still be alive and Ryan would not be living in fear of his psycho father. Her response that he’s hateful and just like his father was deflection and didn’t make her look any better IMO.
  9. I've been wondering if Homelander is going to be subdued at the end of the season by Soldier Boy nullifying his powers. Since we know from Kripke and Jensen that there's going to be a fight between the two and we now know what Soldier Boy can do to other supes it makes perfect sense (to me) that this would be the outcome. Of course, it wouldn't be permanent since Homelander is the head of the seven but it would be a way to humble him for a bit. With that said if Soldier Boy goes after Stan I'm sure that he already has a plan in place to bring him to his side.
  10. This makes me believe (and hope) that Soldier Boy will still be alive at the end of this season. And it also makes me wonder if Soldier Boy will encounter Black Noir at some point since he was a former teammate.
  11. I'm hoping that since Kripke is already talking about future stories that he has in mind for Soldier Boy's backstory they've already planned on asking Jensen to come back. So far I think that they've done more promo for SB than they did for Stormfront even though she was going to be the season's big bad. Does anyone recall if Aya Cash had as much buzz around her as Jensen when she joined?
  12. Has Giancarlo ever done any press for the show? I haven't seen anything.
  13. Yeah, I get it but my point is that it was Cherie or Frenchie on the chopping block. Butcher got Frenchie off the hook and Frenchie was trying to keep Cherie off of their radar. Again, he doesn't communicate much with Kimiko and clearly thought that it wouldn't be an issue if he volunteered her services. I don't get how Butcher is the villain here given the choices. Frenchie was pissed at the thought that Butcher gave up Cherie but if Butcher hadn't offered up Kimiko the Russians would have continued to pursue Frenchie and Cherie.
  14. After rewatching I have an unpopular opinion about the Butcher/Frenchie/Kimiko situation. Butcher paid off Nina to get Frenchie and Cherie out of her debt, she ups her condition that one last job must be performed in order for her to let Cherie off the hook. Frenchie is outraged because he thinks that Butcher gave up Cherie's location and is further outraged when he says that Kimiko has to carry out the job for the debt to be paid. Why is Butcher the bad guy in this situation? Frenchie's bad blood with Nina happened outside of his affiliation with Butcher and he didn't tell the boys when she summoned him because he didn't want them to know what was going on. If Butcher hadn't offered up Kimiko (who he doesn't know doesn't want to kill anymore because she only talks to Frenchie) then Nina would have continued to pursue Frenchie and look for Cherie which Frenchie was trying to avoid. I understand that Butcher was "uncouth" when giving them the news but outside of that how is he the bad guy in this situation? Genuinely asking here.
  15. Honestly the original version with Blondie "rapping" sounds awkward and hilarious also IMO.
  16. This was my favorite Dean smile. We saw it so little and it was a treat when he was actually genuinely happy enough for this smile to emerge.
  17. I agree with this. He seemed way too calm in the aftermath. Me too. Jensen has an amazing voice.
  18. Holy shit Supersonic's remains were gruesome!!!! I can believe that Homelander would go there but I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I wonder how Starlight is going to feel when she finds out that Hughie took the Temp V and actually seems to be reveling in his new power. I loved Stan and Homelander's confrontation at the end and it's awesome how he's completely unintimidated by Homelander. I truly wonder if we're going to find out that Stan has powers at some point. There has to be a reason why Homelander has never attacked him. Yay, our first real look at Soldier Boy! I can't wait for a full episode with him and the story of what happened with him and MM's family. If that's true it could be a major bonus for when he comes up against Homelander!
  19. From the overall comments of two specific individuals on the show's thread about Soldier Boy and the past comments on this forum from one of those posters it was obviously less about Jensen's acting and more about bias. The wording in their posts made it clear that they were eager to bring their anti Dean/Jensen feelings from SPN and SPN fandom into his new project. It's sickening.
  20. I liked that too. I also like that they're going deeper into Starlight as a character outside of her relationships with Hughie and her mom.
  21. I would love to see Stan fleshed out a bit beyond being the man in charge. With his connection to Victoria maybe we'll get a little more of his backstory.
  22. To me Soldier Boy's voice sounds closer to Jensen's natural speaking voice, maybe a tad bit deeper.
  23. Completely and totally disagree with this. But to each their own.
