Exactly.

It's not that you're not a proper fan if you don't support Jensen's projects, it's more the fandom takes that seem determined to think the worst of it before it even gets on screen. It's one thing to give your opinion on whether or not it's a good idea but outright bashing it before it sees the light of day seems a tad over the top. Just my opinion.

All really interesting ideas! Personally I wanted to know more about John's side of the family during SPN. What we found out about Henry was interesting and I was curious as to why his wife was never even mentioned. Outside of the MOL the show went into more depth with the Campbells but I would have liked to learn more about the Winchesters as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the family history is fleshed out in the prequel.

Yes, all good reasons to think that it will be picked up. I'm with you in being interested in John's mother. When they went into the MOL storyline on OG SPN I always wondered why she wasn't in any of the flashbacks with Henry or even mentioned in season 4 when Dean met his mother and father before they were married.

With good writers on board (which is seems like they have) it should be fine. From what I've read so far it seems interesting enough to make it but to each their own.

If Walker went to series then The Winchesters should be a cakewalk.

I agree. The slap and the bellowing afterwards "keep my wife's name out of your f**cking mouth" was reprehensible and the Academy should have removed him afterwards. The comments that I've seen (not just here) that have been applauding him are ridiculous. You can't just assault people when they make you angry without consequences no matter what is being said. He has his millions and his Oscar; he'll be ok. Agree so much with this post.

Agreed. I haven't watched award shows in ages and this incident is the only reason that I know what happened. I've always been a fan of Will based on what I've seen of him as a person but I can take or leave the most of his films. That being said Will has always seemed to hold himself with a certain level of class and humbleness but slapping someone (no matter the reason) on such a night was not a good look. He's a grown ass man with a prominent career and he should definitely know better. YMMV regarding humor but I've always liked Chris Rock and I was sickened that this happened to him but impressed with how he conducted himself and didn't react with violence.

I also really enjoyed his show and was disappointed when it was canceled. Out of the collective Wayans brothers I've always thought that Damon and Marlon were the ones that were naturally funny on their own while Keenen and Shawn were hit or miss.

I'm glad to see the diversity among the casting so far. As much as I love OG SPN they didn't really excel at that. Other than Rufus and Henriksen POC beyond an episode or two were pretty rare.

Except for when he recorded " You Saw My Blinker, Bitch" in the 90's which was about road rage against geriatrics and was riddled with ageism. Years before his "I don't curse in my records" speech.

Exactly. By the end of season 12 canon was a joke and all but a memory by the end of the series. If anything The Winchesters may be pleasant to watch instead of causing all of the internal angst that the Dabb years did for me personally.

Oh, I agree. Butcher having a power similar to Homelander (shooting lasers from his eyes) will no doubt fill him with self-loathing after the novelty wears off.

I read that in the comics Butcher talked the boys into taking V in order to be more effective in their plan to take down the supes. I wonder if the rest of them will take V as well or if they're just going with Butcher. Loved the shots of Jensen as Soldier Boy!
