  1. At this point, we had gotten as many male human and supernatural villains as there were females. I don't think that killing Eve had anything to do with misogyny but everyone has a different interpretation. I've always enjoyed this episode. I liked seeing them having to work around not having Cas's powers and I loved Dean outsmarting Eve and getting the kill. I also enjoyed the humor sprinkled throughout, particularly Dean's glee at coming up with Jefferson Starships for Eve's monsters.
  2. I enjoyed this episode mostly because of how much fun Dean was having. Even though the old west didn't live up to his expectations, it was still a good time. I haven't (and I'm not going to) watch Walker so the brief mention doesn't usually stick with me.
  3. Benny was one of my favorite parts of season 8 but Amelia was a completely unlikable character.
  4. It's similarities to Ice is one of the reasons why I enjoyed this episode. It didn't have the same spooky feel IMO but it advanced the Eve plotline and showed what she was capable of. I wish that they hadn't killed Rufus but I was fine with getting rid of the rest of the Campbells.
  5. I don't think that he needed their bones in order to kill them. When he killed Dexter and Victoria he just stuck his hand through their chests and they ignited. It makes sense that he only needed to do the same to Bobby to kill him also. It was probably because of how powerful he was; Victoria did say that they were food to him.
  6. I loved Krycek! I read that the reason why he was killed off was because Nicholas Lea didn't like the way that they were making Krycek over the top evil just for the sake of it and wanted to leave the show.
  7. I agree with this. Also, there's plenty of space if each of them have large families (I don't know anything about Jensen and Danneel's extended families) or they may enjoy entertaining and the extra bedrooms/baths may be useful.
  8. Just as awful as when she possessed Sam and tried to kill Jo? No matter the body that she's in, Meg has always been terrible. That's why I say that I don't find their treatment of her problematic. But I understand to each their own.
  9. Personally, I've always felt that it was a tad overrated; not sure why fandom has such reverence for it. But I look forward to your thoughts! Agree. I thought that the case was somewhat interesting and enjoyed the Dean/Lisa/Ben scenes but this is a largely forgettable episode for me.
  10. Agreed, I can't even imagine anyone else playing Dean Winchester. And now, I can't picture anyone else playing Soldier Boy! Jensen is so good 😊
  11. I've always enjoyed this episode also. I liked Dean smiling when Sam scolds him for reading a girls diary because it's something that normal Sam would do, which reassures him that he's really himself again. I love little things like that. Also,
  12. You're closer to the better half of season 6 though 🙂
  13. Considering their history with Meg, I don't find Dean's disdain for her to be problematic in the slightest.
  14. What problematic views?
  15. I also loved the alien conspiracy storyline. It gave us some of the more interesting characters like The Lone Gunmen, The Smoking Man, Alex Krycek, Mr. X and all of The Smoking Man's cronies. I agree with this also. Continuous drama doesn't keep things interesting, it just annoys the viewer.
  16. If I'm not mistaken, Jared actually adlibbed this line. I didn't really see it as a role reversal. Dean's always been empathetic and Soulless Sam leaned more towards heartless than pragmatic overall. Just my opinion.
  17. Totally agree with all of this! 😊
  18. This will make sense later. Co-sign this. I've always felt that Dean was a more relatable character.
  19. Don't forget about The Lost Boys! That movie was immensely entertaining!
  20. Don't feel bad! I called him Skinner instead of Samuel in my head every time he appeared on screen and still thought of Rufus as Mr. X in the beginning 😄
