  1. I remember reading that Jared didn't like it because it made Sam unlikeable. I actually read that on these boards but he could have reacted this way after his fans didn't care for the storyline.
  2. I've wondered about this also! I think that she's even stronger than Neumann. She only has to clench her hands to completely destroy everything around her while Neumann has to have an eye on her target. I do hope that we see her again.
  3. So one of my coworkers who is so impressed by Jensen's role on The Boys said that after putting off watching Supernatural because he didn't want to dive into a series with 15 seasons he finally wants to get started. He also said mention that he's curious if it'll be a show that will immediately draw him in or if he'll have to wait for it to hit its stride. I want to recommend an episode for him to check out where he can get the gist of the series but not be lost on what's going on like with the later seasons with all of the Heaven/Hell drama. I was thinking of recommending Nightshifter because it's a MOTW ep that showcases both brothers and the point of the show. Can you guys give me your thoughts on what I should add to this or if you think that this is a good ep to start with?
  4. Also 4.21, 5.5, 6.5, (if being possessed during 8.6 wasn't an excuse according to Sam neither is being soulless) 7.6, 8.1, through 8.11, 9.10 and beyond. IMHO.
  5. I'm wondering if it could be Ashley. She has a tendency to melt down and literally pull out her hair. If Homelander is shaken she isn't confident enough to take charge and keep up the facade like Edgar or Madelyn would be.
  6. I've been disappointed in them both since Jared began to act like Sam in real life and Misha egged on his fans to embrace their rabid Destiel worship and harass Jensen in the process. By season 15 I wasn't even surprised anymore.
  7. True, the writing is a bit over the top for Butcher at times. But I like the way he teeters between a sympathetic figure and an unrepentant asshole at the same time. I'm always interested when Butcher is on screen.
  8. I think that Antony Starr is a good actor but I'm personally more impressed by Karl Urban.
  9. I never thought that appreciating an actor would cause such a vitriolic reaction. Curious.
  10. My "luckiness" isn't rare amongst siblings, I'm sure. Not to mention he saved Castiel's life also after the reaper killed him.
  11. That doesn’t make it ok. Being male and freshly grieving doesn’t give you a pass to be deliberately hurtful. I have brothers. They wouldn’t treat each other that way.
  12. That’s what I’m thinking or maybe SB wasn’t at full power when he blasted Kimiko since he was still drugged up. With CC and the TNT twins when he was at full strength he destroyed the entire building along with the murders. In Russia the only one affected was the one that his blast was aimed towards.
  13. I was lukewarm on Sam from the pilot ep when he didn't deny it when Dean pointed out that he wouldn't have picked up if he had called and was callous about their mother being dead on the bridge (ironic considering how he lashed out at Dean in season 13 for not having as many memories of her) which didn't make me see him in the best light. Later when he disregarded Dean's comment about his grief over their mother's death because Sam's mourning of Jess was recent and therefore was more relevant made me begin to dislike him. Season 4 and beyond made me wash my hands of him totally save for a few moments here when Sam wasn't a total asshole.
  14. I interpreted your 1st point the same. For the 2nd point considering that she was directly threatened by Homelander who told her that he would burn the entire world just because, was front and center to the threat that he and Stormfront posed to the point of banding with Maeve to neutralize him, menacing her boyfriend in front of her and then telling Alex not to join the seven because Homelander had threatened to kill her I would say that she knows exactly how much worse Homelander is. The only reason why she hasn't seen it on the show and is gung ho on seeing Soldier Boy as the greater threat is for plot.
  15. There was an entire thread of speculation about what role Jared would play because "Kripke brought in Jim Beaver and Jensen so he's obviously going to bring in Jared too". The reasonings were ridiculous.
  16. I've seen screenshots of the comments on Tumblr and Twitter but I haven't found the thread with this discussion! I unfortunately wandered into a thread where people are wondering why Jared and Misha aren't on the show since Jensen is 🙄
  17. With TNT the brother mentioned that they hadn't used their powers in years when the sister suggested it. Maybe lack of use made their powers fizzle out naturally?
  18. Regarding the spoiler about how an alpha that you don’t expect will come out on top, what if it’s Noir? Soldier Boy didn’t seem to buy it when the TNT twins told him that it was Noir’s idea to sell him out. What if he finds Noir to team back up and gets double crossed? Not by fighting for Homelander’s sake but for his own?
  19. I think that Annie’s nosebleed was a warning from Victoria Neumann since others have gotten nosebleed’s right before their heads exploded. It seems like she was going to pop her head and then decided not to.
  20. I don’t particularly agree that Hughie being sidetracked translates to him not caring about what happens to bystanders. But I already gave my reasons why so I’ll leave it at that.
  21. How did he stop caring once he saw A Train? He's always hated him for killing Robin and not caring about the fact that he did it. Personally speaking I didn't see anything wrong with him confronting him when he knew that he was strong enough to actually do so. Doesn't necessarily mean that he didn't care about what could potentially happen to everyone else IMO.
  22. It was so-so for me. Probably because I despise both characters. A Train is worse of course but I've thought that Ashley was shitty from the beginning.
  23. She told him at the end of episode 6 of season 2. She told him how old she was and pulled out pics of her past in Germany with Frederick Vought.
  24. I don't know how it played out in the comics but after googling I read that after Stormfront and Frederick Vought left Germany the repackaging of her image as a superhero included burying her Nazi past. The Church of the Collective and later Homelander were the only ones that were privy to that info. If that's true then I would think that Soldier Boy more than likely didn't know that she was a Nazi,
