Personally I think that since this is technically Jensen and Danneel’s project he has no obligation to include Jared or Misha. If Dean is narrating when John met Mary there’s no need for Sam or Castiel. It would be nothing more than fan service IMO and after the way that his character was treated over the last few seasons he should be able to tell the story that he wants.

I can’t wait to watch this!! *sigh* 🙄

I've been posting on The Boys forum and the episode discussions were pretty lively during season 2.

I haven't read Impalaverse yet but I second your recommendation for Undertow which you were kind enough to recommend to me some time ago. It's awesome but the ending is definitely bittersweet IMO.

I agree with your overall thoughts but I couldn't agree with you more about this. The angel nonsense added nothing to the show beyond season 5 IMO.

Does anyone know what happened to Brilliant But Cancelled? For those that don’t know what I’m talking about it was a Television Without Pity archive and all of the old Supernatural recaps were there. The site has been down for over a month now and I was just wondering if anyone knows why.

I completely agree! Preferring one actor/ Winchester over the other doesn’t diminish either one.

But Sam/Jared wasn’t even mentioned. I don’t see how a positive comment about Jensen can be construed as negativity towards Jared.

I find this to be an interesting take considering that not one post on this thread has said anything against Jared while talking about Jensen.

I meant that I will not rewatch the episode that @gonzosgirrl referenced under the spoiler tag, not the show itself. Hence my comment about how I wish that it had ended at season 11.

And that's why I will never rewatch. As far as I'm concerned the series ended when Dean helped Chuck and Amara reconcile and then he went home and celebrated with a freshly baked pie. End credits!

Same. This and season 4's Sex and Violence were a one and done for me because I couldn't sit through Sam's behavior more than once.

I totally agree with you. I started watching when the show was in it's 10th season and season 11 was the first one that I watched live. From the pilot on I was completely drawn to Dean and Jensen is so awesome that it makes me happy to follow him on all of his future projects.

Thanks for posting! I'm so glad that Jensen is a part of such a highly rated, well regarded show on a popular streaming service where he'll get tons of exposure to his talent.

Yeah, doesn't sound too great in theory but I would have enjoyed seeing someone other than just Bobby waiting for him. The bolded part is why I will never watch the finale again.

I don't care about whether or not I look mean pointing it out. He did it, it's canon, so it's fair game.

When you consider what he did in order to use said abilities the villainization was appropriate IMO.
