What is the answer? Diversity is a real issue with every network and rightly so. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the thought process of those in power to make them realize that people of all races and genders keep them in business, not just the one that they want to focus on.

I hope that they bring her back also. She was the only character that was friends with kids from both dojos and it would be interesting to see where her loyalties would lie between her friendship with Tory vs Sam, Miguel and Hawk. I did see that the creators ( or producers? I don't know ) were questioned about writing her out and they said that they told her what they told the actor that played Kyler when they decided that they didn't need him in season 2. They said that they didn't need her for that season but it didn't mean that they had written her character out of the show. Since they brought Kyler back after they told him that I'm hoping that they bring her back too.

I also wonder if they could have kept the same magic as they had with the 1st season if they had continued. I bought the dvd set and there are a lot of special features with the creators and producers talking about their plans for the 2nd season. Graham was going to leave Patty ( to "find himself" not for Hallie ) and Angela would end up taking control of the household after her mom fell apart from the separation. She was still going to date Jordan and the knowledge of Brian's interest would make her more compassionate towards him but also make their relationship more awkward. Sharon was going to end up pregnant and it would bring her closer to Rayanne. Ricki's mom was going to come back and he would move out of Katimski's home and move in with her. All of it sounds intriguing but I don't know if it would have made the show more interesting or weighted down from the added drama.

Two people at my job that started watching and became huge fans lost their enthusiasm after season 12. My boss stopped watching after the finale for that season and said that she has no interest in continuing because the show was no longer as good.

I’ve rewatched it more than any other episode and it still impresses me like it’s the first time!

You picked my top three! Faith and Jus In Bello are two of my favorites but Nightshifter is my absolute favorite. It’s compelling from start to finish and introduces one of my favorite adversaries turned ally, Victor Henriksen.

More like the writers had others ( mostly Sam tbh ) ridicule him for finding simple joy in the small things as opposed to just letting him enjoy himself as they did in the earlier seasons.

I initially thought that Robby was the one that told since he saw them together but now I'm not sure now because he looked almost as stunned Tory. Even though I despise Kreese I do have to admit that the way he revealed the info knowing exactly who would be the most affected by the news did make me laugh.
